How can I draw the ellipse of a concave object accurately without relying too much on measuring, and instead using observation? the course I took barely covered this and id like to move on to more advanced stuff

Why specifically a concave object? Are you comfortable drawing ellipses otherwise?

Not really, they always looks off for whatever reason. drawing the inside ellipse is really hard too
