I started out a turd polisher manga colorist. semi-mastered rendering before realising I didn't know how to draw.

Now I struggle to feel the form with llines, but I can when I render/paint. My process is literally the spongebob circle meme,

If I could draw those blobby form things he talks about, I think I would be able to get somewhere from there. I have no idea how to reach that point, though. Failing at it a lot didn't get me anywhere, since I could never figure out exactly what I was doing wrong or what I needed to be doing instead.
