is there a 100% concessive to avoid using AI to help you choose bricks when multiple shade of a color is used?

There's a list of HEX color codes for each wool type here: https://jigarbov.fandom.com/wiki/ALL_THE_WOOL/Color_Codes
So all those + the 16 base wool colors from vanilla Minecraft are your color palette. Then, for each pixel in the original image, you take the most similar color in the color palette.
