>>7956069 hey hey hey thank you for featuring my screaming digimon art, im currently drawing beelzemon but it'll be a lil long project, i promise it'll be a lot better than my previous work :-D

i've made a lot of progress today but i'm getting a bit tired. this is my largest ship to-date, at 464 meters long and 7 decks tall. these are just the two biggest decks. i finished the bottom deck and i'm about halfway done with the sixth deck.
thank you so much! this ship is actually big enough to have a small docking bay, so i drew a little phantom to scale to fit in there. the phantom is 15 centimeters wider than it canonically is, though, because i had to align it with the center.
>>7960427 There's a lot wrong but the biggest issue is the faces. The easiest way to quickly boost appeal will be to fix those up. Here's a quick little edit to get the point across but you need to work on facial balance and getting the parts in the right spots.

>>7960428 >>7960455 Have you two ever tried to put some actual effort into drawing something that's pleasing instead of whoring out for replies? Or just mass produce garbage for producing garbage sake?
At this point i think the only other real drawfag is the red/bluefag.
>>7960427 Faceblind autism, try resting your eyes before colouring the lines or try loomis perchance.
i bought a drawing tablet not too long ago thinking that ill draw mroe now that i can draw digitally outside but i just ended up using it for watching porn
>>7960470 There's a really insane janny here who was deleting a bunch of threads yesterday. Just post it again, it's perfectly on topic. Figure drawing and critique is /ic/
>>7960449 I had a twitter account a year or so ago but it was just for black souls fanart; for anime girls i just post them randomly on 4chan from time to time.
>>7960474 Wukong anon? Since when do you draw titties?
>>7960487 If you want to draw anime then just start drawing anime immediately. Honestly that applies to everything in life, not just drawing. If you want to do X then you have to do X, don’t waste time doing Y because you think it’ll prepare you for X.
>>7960487 If you want to learn how to draw then yeah. You dont study the artist you like, you study their their masters, which leads back to bridgeman. Once you get to /int/ then you study artists you like. A bad foundation will always show though your art. Bridgeman is that foundation.
>>7960497 just think about how the entire industry is built on the abuse, exploitation, and rape of women and some men, particularly bottoms. that's a pretty big turnoff
>>7960428 Wow. Drew me with cannon height n belly size. Incredible. Btw. My new discord is lagunamarina_ . You should add me. I'm gonna draw now . I just got back from therapy. N shopping. I like blogposting.
>>7960487 his drawings are fun to copy and there are a lot of ideas in them but >>7960501 also makes a good point, don't wait for permission to make what you want
>>7960518 You will never learn to draw anyways, you can't even tell stylisation from a cartoon.
Hey can you tell me the age of that character? I'm le scared if it's le 17 years old, sorry i'm a fucking loser with no critical thinking whatsoever. KEK
>>7960529 Actually the most important thing is that you hate your own work and you remain perpetually dissatisfied with it so you have the drive to improve. Once you get complacent it’s all over. Taste is the one thing you can’t really teach. It’s what separates the hopeful from the hopeless. If you have that internal detector that tells you “no, this is no good” then there’s at least a chance you might eventually correct yourself and produce something worthwhile. But if you turn that detector off and you start thinking “yeah, this looks fine” then you’re done for.
>>7960488 >for anime girls i just post them randomly on 4chan from time to time I think it would be nice to post them somewhere to be able to see you improve over time. Also one eye is higher than the other there.
>>7960556 i try to not be super critical of my work because im still a beginner but i can definitely tell that theres plenty of room for improvement (im >>7960526 ) and i try to identify my mistakes and correct them. i stopped making all art almost completely for a few years because i was too critical of whatever i made and always hating the outcome just discouraged me and that combined with some other factors sucked every bit of motivation out of me. i dont wanna permabeg myself but i would quit again if i didnt allow myself to be a little bad at it
>>7960571 >How do you feel about the colours? Try adding more colours perchance? it reads like a flat render, really small eyeball and really big eyeball
I'm realizing that I don't remember how to render spheres even after the whole drawing spheres debacle I had here ages ago. Maybe time to put some circles in random pictures n follow what Marco polo says again. >>7960597 It's been all I draw lately cuz I'm trying to actually study for once. I like that "certain purple girl" very dynamic
>>7960655 i already did a bunch of times, in different boards, you braindamaged autistic retard.
This is why i refuse to take advice from high/beg/ low /int/ shitters like you. Even low/begs/ / have better eyes, wasting that much time while still being dogshit fries the brain.
Feel free to leave. Magma is a happier place, go there and stay there. You will get tons of replies and you get a ID behind your dogshit art to feed your small ego.
who tf hurt this guy, you should actually seek help if thats how you interact with most ppl, it sounds like you are one meltdown away from killing yourself
>tfw my work isn't even worth posting here I'm a lost cause . I can't have fun drawing because I know it looks awful, and my studies are fruitless because I can't learn anything. I hate this hobby
I know that from here I get better doing more studies, but my problem is completely a work flow issue. This was three one hour sessions and at a certain point I just gave up and fucked up my layer management so bad I had to just merge it and wrap it up. I used various references (the light was not consistent in each one), but my work flow is genuinely so fucking bad and I'm comping back from a long dry spell of and have completely forgotten my techniques. I used to be able to value paint male bodies very fast, I could do a whole upper torso in a rough value paint in a few minutes. I don't draw a lot of females. The sharpness of a low body fat male is just easier IMO. I coped by just making everything very soft. Can you guys explain your workflows? Like I'm very aware that all I need to do is more studies but I'm pretty much winging painting, cause sketching was easy I just used two default brushes and two easer brushes, that was it, but now I have to deal with a lot more bullshit. The worst part is trying repair something I basically cannot.
>>7960688 I keep a pretty simple setup: have one flat color layer per material, 2 clipping layer on top of each (one for shadow, another for light), and then a layer on top of everything for details, highlights, etc
>>7960702 it does matter to me how I'm perceived. If I don't improve I'm a failure. I want my art to look good for the game I want to make. I dont want to be a wageslave
>>7960707 hentai game >>7960705 im sorry, everything just feels so hopeless. im slow at learning and even slower at drawing. i cant stop taking over 4 hours for ONE body sketch and its awful
How do I fix Krita constantly lagging when I hold my pen down, change brushes or zoom in and out? I've tried changing to low canvas and it still keeps stuttering.
