How come Norway is the origin of Dungeon Synth and Black Metal? They've never suffered and nothing interesting has happened there.

Black metal (2nd wave, "norsecore") is industry planting and you can't change my mind about that. Darkthrone was first a death metal band, and their famous sound was pure experimentation and shilled by record labels, before the kids at Helvete hopped on this trend. It was nothing truly organic.
Likewise, dungeon synth was invented a couple decades prior Varg's prison time by New Age underground artists. Varg only ripped them off and slapped a dark edgy sound on it to appeal to metalheads.
You can't convince me otherwise that the black metal aesthetic is just trend-hopping and posing for the camera. There's nothing true or cult about it, the musicians of this scene are either poseurs or mentally ill, either way they're disingenous.
That's also why the best musicians in the scene have made other styles of music. For instance the Darkthrone guys don't pretend they're more hardcore than they already are, they enjoy dance music and punk rock. Also, better black metal is black-thrash.
Thrash metal is the true cult metal. And even the Canadians can into, there's not gatekeeping there about being more "satanic" or "cold" as long as you are metal.

I didn't wholly agree with most of your post but your conclusion is correct so I'll let it be. Thrash metal is the shit and black/thrash is one of my favourite genres.
I never really got into Darkthrone but their first death metal album is amazing and the best thing they've put out imo.
I think Varg's pre-prison albums were amazing and his dungeon synth tracks (Tomhet, Rundgang etc) were great too.
Varg, little gremlin that he is was honest enough about it and never denied that he'd been inspired by stuff like Jean-Michel Jarre, Dead can Dance, 90's techno/house.

I'm not a Black Metal expert, it's my least favorite kind. But these Brazilian guys were apparently a big influence for the Norwegian scene.
However, Black Metalfags say Venom is the real origin of BM, and they came almost 10 years before Sarcófago.

Picrel is my favorite, but like I said, I'm not really a BMfag. Acid Mammoth from Greece is a lot better than any BM IMO.

Nothing interesting has happened here yes but the people suffered often like in the black death which hit hard and especially famines were common too since this place sucks dick for farming before the potato came. Luckily we sustained ourselves on fish

Norsecore is something different than 2nd wave.
It's basically blasty, hyperfast, zero atmosphere stuff that came out of Scandinavia and Germany in the early 2000s
Marduk, Dark Funeral, 1349, Endstille, Tsjuder are all examples. Less my thing.
