I have a sneaky theory, that this 13% or so minority of blacks we have act as a force multiplier for the American whites. It's a head scratcher as to how they don't lower our GDP figure by more given they're economic deadweight (compared to our lily white European peers).

Here's how it goes:

When I was growing up it was all white, now there’s a bunch of browns and blacks and the whites are all moving to newer, more rural neighborhoods.
Saw a bunch of brown kids riding little motorbikes and mopeds down my street the other day. I was always interested in buying our house when my parents decided to move, but now I don’t know.
