>For all your Fumo cleaning needs
>The poster just recently obtained a fumo
Can we trust anon? Fumo discord has this information as pinned:Things needed to clean fumo:
1. A stiff brush
2. A bowl or pot
3. Water
4. A detergent (preferably a gentler one but a tide pod will work)
DEEP CLEAN
You fill up a pot or bowl with water and you toss in your tide pod or detergent and mix it all in
Then you toss in your fumo, making sure to squeeze her and such under the detergent water
Scrub her with the brush all over her a couple of times
Then you pour out your bowl and use clean water to get all the detergent out of her... Squeezing her in the clean water
Then you dump out the water and start squeezing the water out of the fumo any way you can
Then place fumo in towel and squeeze her as much as you can with her in the towel to soak up most of the water
Then let her air dry
LIGHT CLEAN
Same preperation procedure
DO NOT put fumo in water bowl,
Instead dip the brush in and lightly scrub off any exterior stains (Dirt and dust only)
Use a towel and Air dry as per DEEP CLEAN
And there is a video guide too:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-k37k2wtX2w

Hi, folks.
I recently went on a big adventure and took my Sanae with me. Getting her was also an adventure in itself, and I talked about it in the previous thread.
I wish I could post all the pics I took, but it would take up the entire thread. But here's Sanny looking at the sunset over Lake Suwa.

That's all for now, frens!!!
Here's the gang at the ema I hung up at the shrine. All four Suwa taisha's ema are covered with Suwako and the Moriyas artwork, and Moriya shrine being my final stop in this adventure it was fitting I made my own.

Came back home just yesterday. Still a bit sad about the fact that I'm not there anymore, but thankfully I'll be back in a few months for a very long period of time.
Back in Tokyo, on my last weekend I went to a Sakura watching (ohanami) event with my friends from the Touhou bar. It was super fun and the day was perfect. The previous days had been a bit cloudy and rainy in the region, but on that day there wasn't a cloud in the sky and everyone was out and about admiring the pretty trees and hanging out with their friends. We drank from noon till midnight. Here's my Cirno enjoying he sights.

And as a fun anecdote, when I was taking a break from taking pics of my Sanny and Cirno and lay them by my backpack, the other guys flipped out their own fumos and other plushies and put them all together in a pile so they could all hang out and get some sunlight. Even more were added to the pile, and later on a guy fell drunk-asleep next to the pile while hugging his Kaguya.

Absolutely lol. I'm a simple man, and when I'm in Japan my standard, automatic go-to meals are essentially either karaage with beer, or going to Katsuya and getting one of their delicious katsudon with sauce.
This time around I tried many new and delicious things, but I think my favorite new meal I had was pic related, which isn't very different from katsudon but this is chicken instead of pork and it's a special preparation only found in a certain region of Nagano. The dish is called Sanzokuyaki and I highly recommend it.
>>50823807
Of course, I am down to trying anything that sounds like fun. Especially with people with shared interests.

Well I'd love to but it would get a bit stale since I only had and took photos of my Sanae and later on my Hisoutensoku version Cirno, and I've posted some of the coolest ones already and other cool ones are slight variations of them. I think what I meant by wanting to show the pics I took was the overall photos of this trip, not necessarily fumo related, and it'd be a little pointless and attention whoring to do that in a dedicated /fumo/ thread.

>>The poster just recently obtained a fumo
He did, but he's "done a lot of laundry and fabric doll maintenance", which makes him far more qualified than amateurs washing their own plushes.
The biggest difference between his advice and the stuff in your post is whether the fumo should be submerged or not, and he said that no matter how much you squeeze her you'll always run the risk of some mold growing inside, and it makes a lot of sense to me.
Fumos don't really need to be submerged, it's not like anything besides their surface fabric gets dirty to begin with.

>Was having a particularly bad day from a culmination of shitty circumstances all collapsing on me at once
>for some reason think rubbing against a knockoff reimu would satisfy me
>no pleasure, feel quite ashamed
>just hugged her instead and actually deflated and could finally sleep
I felt better the next day. Never felt as bad since that day.
I'm a grown ass man pushing 30 and a plush likely kept me from doing something stupid even tho my first objective was to fuck it

the amiami and akiba hobby stores in akihabara may have fumos. reitaisai is on may 4th, that's your best option if you can fit it into your trip. they have a huge fumo booth and they sell all the new releases.

This is what she ended up selling for, someone must be a huge daifag.
I think that's in the top 3 highest winning bids so far, among the custom plushes this guy made. The highest I've seen was rumia, who was sold for 53k yen.

Very cute! I can see why it went for such a price. The large size is nice too, definitely bigger than a fumo from that water bottle comparison. Here is the felt Rumia I have, it's maybe 4 inches tall, not sure how many Eurometers that is. The artisan also gratefully sent me a shikishi board watercolor of Rumia along with the plush
