Looks like they tried brushing the wig on the head. Sounds comfy but it could go bad as evident by those pics although I don't know how one gets to that point. Wig stands to dry out and maintain, foam head to do the grunt work with. You shouldn't have to brush hard anyways or just get a new wig altogether. Come to think of it when I get my doll a new head I'll probably use her old head to brush minus the butchering of course.
