“Ruuuubbbiiieeeeee~!! ”
Heavy but surprisingly light footsteps boom closer. Hishi Akebono comes barreling down the corridor like a gentle freight train of happiness, her massive 180 cm frame making the floor creak just a little. In her hands she’s proudly carrying a gigantic three-tiered birthday cake — strawberry shortcake with extra cream, chocolate drizzles, and little fondant roses on top. It’s easily the size of a wagon wheel.
And right in front of her, trying to maintain her usual elegant poise while speed-walking away, is tiny Daiichi Ruby (141 cm of pure refined doll energy).
Ruby glances over her shoulder, her drill curls bouncing, cheeks faintly pink with a mix of embarrassment and reluctant fondness.
“...Akebono. Must you shout my name so loudly in the corridor? It is unbecoming of a splendid lady such as myself...”
But Akebono is already right behind her, bending down with a big warm smile (her eyes still gently closed in that signature gentle-giant way).
“Look look~! I made you a special birthday cake! I put in extra love, extra strawberries, and even a little sumo wrestler decoration on top for good luck! It’s super-duper buono!! ”
She lowers the enormous cake right in front of Ruby’s face.
From Ruby’s perspective... the cake is literally bigger than her head. The top tier alone looks like it could swallow her whole petite frame. Her elegant little hands come up instinctively as if to keep the mountain of sugar from toppling onto her perfect hair.
Ruby’s voice comes out in that classic aloof-but-slightly-flustered tone:
“...This is... rather substantial. One might even say it exceeds the bounds of ‘cake’ and enters the realm of ‘monument.’”
Akebono tilts her head innocently, still beaming, her own B99 assets resting comfortably on the edge of the cake board as she holds it steady.
“Ehh? But I thought it turned out a bit on the small side today... I usually make them twice this big when feeding the whole dorm! Rubbie, you’re so cute and tiny that it looks extra huge next to you~ It’s perfect for sharing! Come on, say ‘aaah’—I’ll feed you the first bite!”
Ruby’s narrow 53 cm waist practically disappears next to that cake. She crosses her arms, trying (and failing) to look dignified while staring up at the sugary behemoth that’s casting a shadow over her entire upper body.
“Hmph... I shall accept it with the grace befitting the Splendid Clan. However—do not expect me to finish even a tenth of this... colossus. And cease calling me ‘Rubbie’ in public!”
Akebono just laughs warmly, already scooping a massive spoonful that’s basically the size of Ruby’s entire face.
The contrast is lethal:

Tiny elegant princess Ruby, standing on tiptoes, trying to maintain her “always shine the brightest” aura while a cake the size of her torso looms over her.
Towering, soft-hearted food giant Akebono, treating her like a precious little sister she just wants to stuff with happiness.

Ruby eventually takes the tiniest, most refined nibble possible... and her eyes widen just a fraction at how delicious it actually is.
“...It is... acceptably buono.”
Akebono lights up like the sun: “Yay~!! Then I’ll make an even bigger one next year!!”
Ruby (quietly panicking): “...Please do not.”
