The next original Compass hero, Charles Richter, will be added after maintenance on the 25th. He is an attacker.
His hero action is a small area attack a short distance in front of him. This staggers enemies, deals damage and applies poison to them. It also acts as a backstep for Charles
His hero skill summons three swords that appear to target the position of each enemy at the time of casting. Enemies hit by the impact are damaged and knocked down. Each sword also creates a damaging area for a few seconds.
His hero ability modifies AoE cards so that they are cast with the centre being of front of him rather than him being the centre. This also applies to counters. He also gains bonus damage against enemies with a status effect

I can foresee a lot of whiffs happening in CQC situations due to his ability.

Several devs and publisher already tackled this subject, the issue is that labor in china is super cheap, and japan has tons of laws to avoid black companies and sweat shops propping up. Imagine that the amount of content FFXIV releases in 12 months takes 6 weeks for chinese mobages to develop, theres no way for japan to compete. The only way would be to compete against cheap korean games like trickcal, no way they can go against stuff like wuthering waves.

There's also issue with nip corpos trying to sue each other for "copying" some random ass patents they just made up while chinks would rip everything to the bone. That's also a factor why chinks can develop things much faster than nips.
