This was something I'd been working on for a while but stalled out heavily due to the aforementioned system update causing reForge to shit the bed and force me to move to SwarmUI. Kinda sucks a bit since I had most of it done a few weeks ago when Maid day was in vogue but got interrupted by the crashes and system reinstall. Definitely was a chore trying to muster up the motivation to finish it after everything was said and done, but I still think it was a cute and funny idea.

Speaking of SwarmUI/ComfyUI though, managed to work around the quality degradation after doing some more readups, turns out the biggest factor in causing the quality difference was that ComfyUI weighs tags differently. So when I had a prompt with `very_wide_shot` weighed at 1.5, it was messing things up heavily.

Nice to know that was the main cause, but also annoying because that throws most of my presets out the window since a lot of them have artist tags set in a mixture anywhere between 0-1 for tag weights. Had to go through my common presets and readjust the weights to fit more in line with Comfy's system. Ultimately workable, but I'm definitely jumping back to A1111/Forge as soon as I can.

It's basically just SD with a bit of tag merging capability and better character recognition, but a lot more nuances to using it. Slower gen times, LoRA incompatibility, inability to mix artist tags... has a promising future but not really worth it right now.

Let's not undersell it. Natural language prompting and comprehension instead of tags and CLIP are a big deal. The "problem" is that the base model is, ironically, very basic right now. It'll take the community a bit to get it to where SDXL is in terms of versatility, optimization and support. But then that's been true of all base models all the way back to NAIv2.

Pros:
Better with details. It's possible to get things like fishnets, ornate jewelry and fine textures that are not fucked up. Hands are better too though you still get the occasional missing/extra finger or total abomination.
Better with composition. If you say 3girls it will generally give you 3 girls.
You can prompt with danbooru tags or non-tags, meaning if a tag doesn't exist you can just make it up and it'll probably still get it.
You can prompt it with natural language which allows you far greater control than tags. Things like the relative positions of subjects, who is performing what action and so on.

Cons:
Trying to artist mix the usual way is likely to fuck up the gen. Workarounds exist but they're all questionable.
Related to the above, it's somewhat unstable. A particular artist can give you a different style each gen, trying to mix artists is almost guaranteed to give you a different style each gen.
It takes more wrangling to get your gens looking nice. This eases somewhat as you get more used to the model.
It's quite slow.

The turbo lora will make it much faster, faster than SDXL even, and stabilize the outputs at the cost of reducing their distinctiveness. It's usually not an issue if you're going for a flat color/anime coloring gen but you'll see the difference in styles with fine detail.

It's funnier if we pretend the AI did it. As for the tags, no, nothing special. Think what happened was, the model rendered her head partly obscured, but since I had face features tagged at 1<, it force-moulded another face in later steps out of what would've started off as her stomach. If you want to invoke it on purpose, top-down-bottom-up + from_below + upside-down will often get you the pose/perspective if not the spinal bend. Upside-down faces can get fucky in i2i; in that case, flipping the image and inpainting it that way is an easy, easily reversed workaround.

I played it for a while due to peer pressure and found the first few chapters of the main story surprisingly profound. So that was nice. The gambling, repetitive gameplay and incessant hassling of the player, however, soon wore my tolerance through. I loathe a game that is blatantly and unabashedly designed to be an incomplete experience. Some of the characters did earn my fondness, but I'm fully satisfied being a BA secondary.
On a somewhat more pertinent note, the BA fandom is absolutely inundated with sloppa. From time to time Pixiv'll push BA content my way, and every time I'm gobsmacked by the volume of very obvious, low-effort, donation-link-plastered, untagged image gen. Thought Touhou gets too much of that? BA has it beat by orders of magnitude.

I hadn't done Ringo in a while, so I was happy to revisit her in a friendly scenario, akin to what i've done with Seiran a while ago. Time flies. I've almost done every character and the ones missing i'm sure i'll cave in to eventually, i've simply put most aside because they get enough as is. Some characters don't even have a single art of them in a wedding dress, or something as mundane as eating food, not to mention the individual potential each character holds, like say, Chimi's potential for eldritch horror, with her strange warping and ominous theme. As a side note, I really want to try doing Noroiko and Matenshi eventually, even if it'll take a bit of trial and error since there's certainly not enough material to do them with a mere mention in the prompt, nor do I believe a LoRA exists for them. I can't imagine either being harder than Rin Satsuki, who's got a lot more bells and whistles, and, despite her reasonable amount of arts, gives really bad results running on name prompt & accessories. Been thinking of doing some tests and toss Warugaki into my mix for more dynamic shading and funny faces. Also been looking to make a one-off with an uncanny valley artstyle, i'll have to go searching.

I don't think giantess is the term you're looking for, yet I couldn't really give you any alternatives. The few times i've seen moderate size difference depicted as seen by your pic, there didn't seem to be any tags specific to it. Rather, you'd see the artist mention, whether it be in the picture itself or in its description, the supposed height of the character, going from something as modest as 2m to 8 to 9 ft. The most obvious candidate for it, although she's kind of a stretch as a Touhou character rather than just a concept born elsewhere, is Hasshaku-sama, which is featured in Ichirin's Last Word in ULiL. First was running diffusion gunk removal on the base image before using it, second was disabling the hidden "Always discard next-to-last sigma" setting in Forge Neo which is on by default. And what do you know? No distortion, at least as far as my admittedly poor eyesight can tell. I suspect that the latter is the actual culprit, I don't see how diffusion noise could be making a difference for a model that runs at 100% denoise.

Thing is there is some debatability in that regard, we encounter Kagerou in DDC when there is a full moon and so she is technically already transformed, we do see hair in her defeat sprite but overall it doesn't look like she goes fully hairy just gets cute ears (which lines up with the lore about therianthropes established all the way back in PMiSS). She has a seperate ability to transform into a giant wolf head which is entirely coincidental and not related to the werewolf thing and arguably what actually causes her to have hair in her defeat sprite. So we've never seen Kagerou untransformed but she wouldn't have the ears (I still think she'd have a pretty decent bush just for the irony factor lol)

Momiji and Kutaka were genned separately, then combined and .95 strength region i2i'd. When I was happy with the foreground, I genned Keine and Urumi with simple backgrounds until they had the right angle and proportions, cut them out, and carefully added them in (and regional i2i'd a few rough edges). The main thing to remember with regional is that it doesn't make it any better at fine details, so you may need to upscale -> crop for that sort of thing. I also always do it with a range of strengths, since it's very varied as to how much change is needed.

Scratch that, found it. My estimate was half-right, though I failed to account for Tenkai-chan which I guess is fair since she's OC. Picrel is my top 12 (since one of them is Tenkai and the other is just a different Rika outfit). Again, surprised by some people in here, namely Aya, Megumu, Kutaka and Reimu. Didn't think I had genned them as much I did, especially Reimu and Kutaka. On the other hand, I'm surprised I haven't genned enough Parsee for her to be in my top 10, I really thought I posted her quite a bit but she's only #14.
When it comes to top 10 overlap... Yuuka kind of deserves a mention as having been a part of my top 10 for years but just narrowly missing out as of late, so I'm not too surprised by her being in my top 10 most genned, especially considering she's a lot easier to fit into scenarios than some of my top 10s. I guess she'd be somewhere in my top 15 favorite 2hus right now, if anything.

The base weights of the unquanted model itself are over 40GB. The base weights of the unquanted text encoder are over 15GB. Nunchaku is 12~13GB depending on variant and a Q4 quant of the text encoder along with the mmproj file you'll need with it is roughly 6GB.

I have something of a strange fixation on the 2hu's canon heights which is why I'd like to remind everyone you can actually legitimately use the Hisoutensoku in-game character sprites as reference for the heights as ZUN drew a height chart for the sprite artists to follow in IaMP and the sprite heights seem to match up with later statements like for Reisen.

Surprisingly easy to get a foil cloak to work, but foil blankets seem to always come out as tissue sized unless I inpaint.

If you mask, then it's a lot less consistent at blending things that it doesn't intuit from the existing of the image so well, such as perspective and relative heights. Regional allows it to be essentially an entirely new gen, so it can get those things correct. Also, it only adds 25%-50% more computation time per region so it's not a huge deal.

I feel canon says otherwise, the entire CoLA chapter dedicated to her has an epilogue saying she literally got slightly better just by making a friend in Sumireko. Her character arc seems to be about fixing her, although I doubt she'll ever be completely normal though but again Kintsugi-style appeal

I like to headcanon while she definitely won't interact with Reimu she does meet up with Reimu's best friend (the one and only Marisa) sometimes, Marisa does it more as a social visit thing, check up on her (probably cause she feels some lingering guilt about duping Rika into acting as a distraction to free her mentor and get her to full power, even if Rika would probably have launched that attack eventually and Marisa herself was a kid at the time) Marisa updates her on the goings on in Gensokyo, what she's been up to, what Rika's been up to, gifts her some edible mushrooms and magical mushrooms that make for good fuel sources. All the while very awkwardly avoiding the elephant in the room of "You became best friends with my enemy" (made more awkward by Rika taking the opportunity to probe for more "intel" on said enemy during these visits).
Marisa also checks up on Meira whose doing a lot more worse, turns out the instatement of the spellcard rules and the new peace it brought to Gensokyo has meant she's been made an obsolete relic as a Ronin Sellsword from a more uncivilized time, and since Reimu is publically attributed to coming up with the rules (let's be honest the sages drafted it and just bribed Reimu to take credit) her beef with the Hakureis went from purely a "nothing personal just quest for power business" relationship to actual resentment of Reimu specifically. Fortunately for Reimu she's fallen too far into drowning her sorrows in alcohol to actually carry out any serious attacks. Marisa gives her discounts for her shop's Romantic Fulfilment services to setup hook ups.
She takes great care never to let the two meet or even know about each other because if two dedicated Reimu haters started meeting up they might actually do something (and fail and get depressed)

Putting them together like this, Meiling has the mature full-figure appeal and Orange is the youthful undeveloped mirror to it. If you removed some bits of clothing or put them in lingerie and changed the expressions this could make a very good pin-up pic honestly

The fun thing about coming up with a hundred different interpretations and headcanons of Gensokyo in your head, it can be both! Siblings or at least cousins if they exist in the same point in time but since artists usually forget Orange completely even when doodling the other NinetyEighters the same character to explain her absence. It can all slot in! I mentioned before I sometimes headcanon Rika and Rikako as sisters but similarly it depends (mainly on how similar their bodytypes are) and sometimes they're different people just on similar life paths (and names)

It's not thaaat easy, you'll have to make changes to the lighting and still inpaint over them a little to make sure they fit in. It's not super hard, per say, but it's not something I knew about when I first tried doing something like that, which made it so that a few of my characters would look a little out of place compared to the backgrounds. That Nina Bioshock gen from a while ago comes to mind, I had to correct it and everything.

The workflow is more to create a combined image, rather than to add elements to an existing image (in which case your method is usually my go to). Regional can actually be useful for your method too - if there's a few areas that need i2i'ing but you get tag bleed, regional lets you have different tags for each area, and faster than genning each area individually. I also tend to use it when upscaling since otherwise you occasionally get tiny clones of characters in the background and character's expressions getting muddied with each other.

As you might've figured out already, your ADetailer settings (and usage) are *wayyy* off, ideally you should treat it as a fancy masked-only inpaint (because, for all intents, that's what it is) and either leave the ADetailer prompts empty (which makes it use the same prompt as the main image) or just copy the prompt from the main image just to be sure. Your settings are also weird, only using hands (which isn't very good IMO, you're better off inpainting at low denoise) and face. The only changes I made to your prompt were the base resolution (1280x1280 instead of 1024x1024, which caused it to get upscaled to 1600x1600 after I2I, just preference) and adding "solo" because it kept giving me multiple Sanaes and there aren't enough shotas out there for more than one to roam free.
As for settings that you can change, DEFINITELY untick "use seperate checkpoint" on both ADetailer tabs, that's just something I do because I use two different models, and I'd say change the inpaint width and height on the 1st pass (body) to a lower resolution if you want, as long as it's not lower than your image's resolution. Id keep face at 1280x1280 though. The important part is to have your first tab ADetail the BODY and your second tab ADetail the FACE, if you switch up the order, the body ADetail will take details away from the face.
By the way, the hands/fingers are a bit messy because inpainting them would've gotten rid of the image's metadata, would've been an easy fix though. Let me know if it helps or if you have any other questions.

I've used ADetailer on all three and have never had any issues, he should be fine if he just changes his settings a bit and actually learns to use the tool properly. If you look at his metadata you'll see all he had on his ADetailer positive prompts were "highres, absurdres, high quality, best quality", it was eroding his style.

The way ADetailer works is it uses the same prompt as the base image if left empty, or uses the prompt you give it. It does NOT add to the existing prompt if you write something on the ADetailer prompt box. Even for stuff like hands (which I reiterate: you shouldn't use ADetailer for, just inpaint instead) you should at the very least still include your style-related tags.

This is standard practice as far as I'm aware and you should only use ADetailer *after I2I in order to polish up the image you actually want to use. Using ADetailer on literally every experiment is a huge waste of time and space.

Sorry, maybe I should've been clearer, but when I was talking about all of that, I was referring to the metadata present in the image that I catboxed, do you know how to view it? If not I can send you screenshots of my ADetailer settings. From the get-go I already see a few questionable settings in yours, such as 0.4 denoise strength (that's wayyy too high, should be 0.3 at most) and not ticking "use seperate width/height" (which as I explained above should be 1280x1280 for face and either match your images resolution or be higher for body, doesn't need to be 1664 like me though, that's just preference).
By the way, I also noticed you're using Euler SMEA Dy as your sampler on the T2I phase, maybe other anons can shed some light on whether that's a good idea or not, but personally speaking I've always used Euler a.

The original plan was to do a number of t2i per style, look for a good result and see how it looks when redone with Hires.fix and ADetailer on, so I didn't run the whole 81-sheets with them on, I've learned that much

This might just be a different way of achieving the same result but I've never used the hires option, I just chuck the raw T2I into the img2img tab, leave the prompt the same (but change the seed), resize by 1.25 and leave denoise at 0.3. ADetailer on too as you've described.

Yeah that's an issue now, people are driving themselves super schizo with AI chatbots. There's an increasingly growing misanthropic apathetic part of me that kinda thinks this might be a net good, like a filter but I need to remind myself that like these are people with families who love them and do not want to see them bad end themselves like this but even just thinking about how much work it'd take to convince someone to pull out of this kind of delusion is exhausting
