he's openly said it in an interview, this is basically the one thing he's actually interested in and he seems to have created the other games more or less so he could eventually fund and make something like this because he's not actually interested in them but knows a company would never get off the ground if he started with this first.

he also said that the kind of game he "actually" wants to make is something he knows full well would never be successful/profitable and barely get any players; the current project is his "compromise" to tone it down enough. he also knows it heavily alienates the playerbase and fans of kuma at large and goes against what they advertised themselves as ("pure love games", apparently), which is specifically the reason they created the black label in order to separate them and try and prevent anything from it from essentially tainting the rest of the brand (jury's still out on if that works).
they also already announced they will have zero crossover or collaboration or anything like that at all for kuma and k.black and they're not gonna turn the girls that players of kuma games like into prostitutes or something, they're completely separated.

and that's probably the best thing they could've done, because that's really all i (and many others) wanted.

hey now. the tdf was kino. they actually had a very nicely done series of events for the aigis/oshiro/mmtd group, which started for mmtd very shortly after it launched as it's fourth event, so that's not a recent thing for it at all.
it's only recently that it became stuck in collab/festival hell with rapid fire things like some game i've never heard of and then kumafes 2 and then the tdf for oshiro's anniversary getting food poisoning from them forcing fucking r'lyeh into it due to that game being dead on arrival and then kumafes 2.2 and then doing mmtd's own anniversary.

Idk I think she's distinct enough. Her nova is very frilly and dense, like typical goth loli style. This one is pinkish and she's got a good amount of skin showing, not to mention significantly less frills.
