This is a thread to discuss all-female Japanese bands that play their own instruments. Individual female instrumentalists and singer-songwriters are also welcome.
Especially when Sakika wears glasses, you can really tell that little sister Suzuka could be super pretty too. Something tells me Sakika actually warned her not to, after attracting some Dragonlord tier schizo stalkers during her GIRLFRIEND days.
>>50994237 Bridear are big ramen eaters. It kind of surprised me. I'd expect people from Hakata to be disappointed by any bowl of ramen found in eastern Japan.
>>50999168 She looks like she'll fit right in! I must say it's an interesting choice to pick a hardcore guitarist and not some kind of old school heavy metal shredder to replace Saki.
>>51000263 I don't really see the resemblance, but I guess Ika also leans into the Matsuri's kind of boyish style sometimes. >>51001134 Not officially it seems, but they lost all but one member.
Hanabie lost the vote to return to the big stage of Polandrock this year. The fans are fkn pissed about it and say the poll was rigged. The thing is, Habie was not even planning to tour the European summer festivals anyway this year.
>>50996691 Probably a tester, as it's between their two July festival dates in Europe. It was scheduled before Epic Fest as well so they didn't know how well they'd do at the time.
>>50998542 Little Lilith and Bridear are playing a series of shows together... so Haru will play first with one band, then the other, in the same evening.
STMLT is having its fourth anniversary. It took a while, but they're finally getting some traction as a band rather than as youtubers.
I still miss Hanon, though, and it's not like the songs don't still have keyboard parts. Maybe she can at least be a guest on one of their youtube videos...
Japan's eternal song of the summer, originally by Jitterin Jinn, covered and revived by all-girl group Whiteberry. A young woman wistfully recounts a distant night at the summer festival with a boy who time or circumstance has separated from her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kD5p2r3ZL4
Hey guys I was listening to stereopony for the first time and that Tsukiari song is one of the greatest songs ever. I also really like unlimits but they’re not all female.
>>51011558 Every band menioned in this thread is a recommendation. Flip through previous editions on Warosu, we've had these threads for a couple of months. My main recommendations would be Cox2, Kirara, Leina and Jyuri because you're unlikely to hear about them anywere else. NEK! too, but they are pretty famous already.
What thread would be the correct thread to talk about Polkadot Stingray? Can't be here right since they're not all-female despite having a female vocalist?
>>50999168 She does seem to fit right in with the rest of the band, like the other anon said. I'd be more than happy if she became a full-time member...
>>51014807 I'm sure she's a full-time member already. They only call her a support musician to safe face in case things don't work out short-term. Hanabie did the same with Chika.
Natsumi gives drum lessons now, anyone can sign up. Surprisingly there's no rule to keep moids away. She has a lot of trust in her fan base. But I guess we already knew that since she wore the 'send nudes' top all the time.
