Cute pic!
Thanks for the compliment, the Daft Punk shirt is a custom order from AngelMarieBoutique on Etsy, and the jean jacket is from Nine9Style but I customized it myself with the rhinestones.
Outtake to have a picture post.

I have a confession to make. About 3ish years ago I bought Azone's Akebi-chan, I was even able to score the DX version with the summer uniform and a little desk for her to sit at (actually there are two for some reason). She was my first doll and after opening the box for a quick look I closed it back up until I had time to build one of the desks since I didn't have any stands for her. Fast-forward and I've bought 5 other dolls, an ever-expanding stash of clothes, plus stands and other accessories. Meanwhile, she sat in the box in a closet for so long I forgot I even owned her. I remembered her finally this weekend and unboxed her thinking she'd be sticky from plasticizer and/or stained from her clothes (she comes dressed in her winter uniform). I'm pleased to report that she is totally fine and is now hanging out with the rest of my doll family where she belongs. I still can't believe I forgot all about her, I feel bad but also relieved that no harm seems to have been done.

I've seen people with Otohimes but never anyone with one of these

A doll almost the size of myself seems intimidating, I wonder how sex doll owners deal with it

I thought so too but looking at the measurements I don't think even a children's small would fit well, probably too tight around the chest and too large everywhere else.

We have guides in the OP!I'm also not a dollfriend since I'm broke so I can't really say "join us" but I'm sure you get the sentiment.

Also noticed these tiny drawer knobs on a recent trip to the hardware store and thought they'd make a neat basis for an ancient looking scroll. Combined with a dowel rod and some wood stain later and the result looks pretty neat.

>one of my favorite clothes makers had a drop tonight
>she's good enough to be popular, but not popular enough that I couldn't take my time
>got exactly what I wanted, no sweat, no hassle
>she's in North America so it won't take two weeks to get here.
One of my favorite things about this hobby. I love small independent sellers.
Go check out SugarShambles on etsy. She's great.

CUTE
Is it her birthday or yours?
Either way, Happy Birthday!

Thank you!
Its her Birthday!
I had wanted to buy her a doll cake, but I was outbid on it. It wouldn't have arrived on time anyway. So, I settled on just getting her a balloon. The outdoor photo was terrible because of the wind blowing and the balloon would not stay still.

Tanjobi omedetou!
Be honest, how difficult was it taking a picture of the balloon outside facing forwards like that?

I spammed the shutter button and took about 30-40 shots, that was the only 1 witch the balloon was aligned.
The photoshoot went like this...

No,
She had surgery... if that was your question..The large oppai torsos are difficult to care for and I put them away quickly after photos are done. They pick up dust like crazy, can rip, can stain, and are difficult to clean

Is it really that cliquey? I think there are just less posts of random dolls now because we don't have to bump the thread nearly as often in autosage hell. I can go back to doing that though, I don't mind.
In other news, Dolls Party LA 2026 is later this year for anyone inclined to attend.

lol no.
The standards in here is pretty low.
That anon just seems like trying to stir drama.
>>51016063
Very beautiful girls ready for the outdoors!

At worst, people here will complain about recasts but it's very rarely brought up and even if you post a recast here, unless you both explicitly call it a recast and defend recasting in that very post, then people here won't hound you.
This is probably the least cliquey place to discuss bjds on the internet. Anywhere outside of here is way shittier with their hatred for any type of doll that's outside of their very tiny sliver of "acceptable ones".
>>
>>
>>51015192
>cliquey
in what way? I've never seen any kind of doll get posted that people didn't faun over. The only time people are standoffish around here tends to be when someone stirs up some shit.
This is primarily a vinyl BJD thread, but any scale or material BJD is welcome, we just don't deal with fashion or fuck dolls. There are other threads for that.

ww See they didn't actually exclude ALL vinyl dolls, so it was even more ridiculous than you'd think. As long as you're mentally ill enough to drop at least a few hundred dollars on a doll, you're good people in my book.
