POST ALL THINGS IRANIAN MILITARY
(any time, any empire)
The greatest military minds have consistently taken over Persia and Iran.
Alexander beat them.
Miltiades, Themistocles, and Pausanius beat them.
Khalid ibn al-Walid beat them.
Ghengis Kahn beath them.
Timur beat them.
Lucullus and Trajan beat them.
Heraclius beat them.
Selim I beat them.
Nikolai Baratov beat them.
Lionel Dunsterville beat them.
Edward Quinan beat them.
Andrei Novikov beat them.
Saddam Hussein beat them.
Where is this invincible Persia? Surely they must have been great one time?

Iran got all senior leadership annihilated, their air defenses are gone, half or more than half it's stock piles are done, their scientists who were working with uranium also got annihilated. Their uranium plants got destroyed. And they just bent the knee to Trump in the last day of his ultimatum. Saying anything else is pure cope.

How the fuck is that face culture retard? Face culture is trying to imply that this is a lethal blow to the US' reputation without being able to articulate how Iran wins long term when now they're politically a pariah state that has to hold the strait hostage.

That is now Iran's last hope: threatening to close the strait is now their big move. They lost a lot of teeth to snarl with, no more global intafadas, no more bombing cities into rubble, just global economic damage. No one likes a country which only contributes to Shia terror groups and higher gas prices, thats how Saddam got smacked and then later on invaded fully years down the line.

They did actually. Archer spam. Unironic cheap archer spam at a time when it was novel to arm a ton of guys with just bows and have them spam arrows at the enemy. These are the "Persians" of Xerxes and before, though, later on they were better known for their disciplined elite cavalry and adopting the horse archer meta via the Parthians who lived in the Northeast part of the Persian Empire.

Iran wants to win then they'll need to grow some balls and add something spicy to their ballistic missiles.

Whatever Chechen is the current champion of the UFC swore that he was going to beat your basement-dwelling ass to death, and he did so every day for weeks, getting more and more threatening every time. He finally shows up to your house, and after he does his damndest to kill you, you come out of it with a broken nose, black eyes, and a cracked rib. You didn’t “win” the fight, but the loss of reputation to the supposed champion for not being able to beat up a random lardass is a bigger loss to them than anything they would have gained from actually killing you.

Euro here. America obviously won militarily but it was a stupid spat that hurt everyone economically for no good reason. I've got no love for the Iranians though so I miss nothing there. Maybe this will reduce dorito drone production for Ukraine and work out in our favour.

Americans are trying to position Europe as their enemy by making up things about us. It's the only way they can justify their President is behaving towards us.
For example, Trump whining that Britain is a bad ally whilst we let him use our bases, all because we refused to directly engage in a war he started without ever talking to us. After he spent years downplaying the last time we helped and actively working against our interests in Europe.
>>65059533
I think Trump forgets his reasons for doing things as soon as they leave his mouth, his yes men slobber all over his knob anyway he could pretty much say anything. Every video with him and Hegseth or his other lackeys is "Thanks to our GREAT AMERICAN PRESIDENT DONALD" even if it's something their department achieved it's "thanks to DJT".

Yeah, typical war ending where nobody gets what they really want. Strategically this war hurts us but tactically Iran is so fucked I wouldn't be surprised if the nation collapses within the next year or two after all the damage that's been done. Then again, that boat tax will definitely buy the IRGC time. Crazy thing is a million bucks extra per boat actually does shockingly little to the cost of oil, at most that's just an extra 50 cents to a dollar extra per barrel. It really is like nothing happened at all

It's not really cope when your president is shit talking us constantly, doing his best to discredit us as allies despite decades of support we have given your wars whilst openly advocating for invading/annexing European territory.
I'm half expecting him to say Britain should give the Falklands to Argentina since Milei is a loyal dickrider of his.
Oh and you can add JD Vance going around shilling for Orban despite the fact his party is pretty much proven to be infested with corrupt Russian assets at this point.
That's without mentioning his fuckery with tariffs or giving protection to drunk driving Americans who kill Europeans.
If that isn't an attempt to distance relations if not outright aggression then I don't know what is.

For all the constant bitching you retards do about America's contributions to the world wars and how you bring up the storied alliance anytime anyone so much as hints that Europe is slacking on defense spending you guys sure are adament that 4 years of Trump's shit talking is the end of NATO. You've always been prissy little fags but Trump's second term seems to be an ongoing competition between Yuros and Leafs over who can whine the loudest about being oppressed and bullied by mean ol' America. Get over yourselves.

I dont wanna give undue praise to anyone or try and make copes but I think this was one of those things we really couldn't know until the bombs started dropping. Since we aren't committing to a ground invasion it wont topple externally. But it seems like Iran has made the choice good or bad that their theocratic 1-party rule is what they want. If anyone tried to use back channels to signal a willingness to discuss forming a secular government, I didn't hear anything about it. But unlike Al Qaeda within the larger sphere of MENA factionalism, Iran has done well to not make it's theocratic elements culturally distant so it still would come across as trying to remove Islam from power rather than any specific group.
My only hope is that Iraq can get 10-20 years to be relatively left alone so they can finally stabilize. 2003 + ISIS + Iran keep kicking them whenever they try and rebuild and a more stable Iraq would be a good power balancer or at the very least make it harder for stuff passing from the Levant to west/central asia for terrorist uses.

I'm not a Trump shill by any means but isn't what the armed forces did in Venezuela and Iran at least a little impressive? They kidnapped the president of one country and took out the entire leadership of another and accomplished both operations in a few days each. They might try to keep fighting but it seems like Iran is beaten pretty badly.

The important takeaway is that the piece of shit formerly known as Khamenei is dead. He was an evil, ruthless dictator who was responsible for arming terrorist groups and repeated unprovoked attacks on his neighbors. His last moments on this Earth was his country being bombed to shit. May he rest in piss.

It's not inaccurate to say that the vast majority of Americans and Europeans are rooting for Iran against Zionist war goals or even basic Western interests like keeping the Strait of Hormuz open, not just third worlders. Most Westerners hate themselves and their own countries and want the US to fail
>>
>>65061312
>It's not inaccurate to say that the vast majority of Americans and Europeans are rooting for Iran
I'd say that's an extremely inaccurate statement. Most people don't have any strong opinions on this war because the average person has no idea what it's even about, they don't understand the buildup to the war involving Irans harsh punishment of anti-government protests or it's unprovoked attacks on its neighbors and arming of terrorist groups. They're completely numb to all the conflicting reports and noise because their only exposure to this war has been twitter screenshots and culture war pundits. To the average person, there is no supervillain to root against like Putin or Saddam Hussein, because the war has been so poorly communicated to the public that people don't even know who Khamenei is. They want the war to be over because they don't understand it.

We need to acknowledge that due to the sheer numbers of Indians, the complete lack of intellectual honesty amd abuse of AIsloppa, third worlders control the online narrative. It is why support for Russia remains so high in the global south despite their obvious incompetence and lack of battlefield success. /k/ posters cam shid and piss themselves and stamp their feet and hurl abuse at others all they want, but they cannot deny this reality

Did anyone mention the part where they sent unarmed children with plastic keys "that would open the gates to heaven for them after martyrdom" to charge through Iraqi minefields? Or what about the part where they got sarin and vx dumped on them and they died like cockroaches getting sprayed with raid? They couldn't even win against their neighbor with 1/3 the population

During World War II, Iran was divided roughly in half and occupied north / south by the USSR, and Great Britain.
Part of this agreement was to keep the Lend Lease shipments and supplies flowing, also to secure neutral Iran's oil fields.
