Sorry dude I can tell you're in medical education and you're trying, but really think about it. Clinically significant phrenic nerve trauma in the best case scenario will take out half of your respiratory diaphragm (in a unilateral injury) and I can't think of any location in which you could nick the phrenic nerve from a frontal penetrating impact or even from blunt trauma and not receive crippling damage to the many, many vital structures (jugulars, carotids, aorta, heart ect) that surround it.
