GCI can be effective if AWACS is offline. Stealth would be the better choice.

It'll just be about volume. Drones will be used so much it won't matter if you know they're coming, you won't be able to target them all. 1,000 drones can be fielded for the same cost of 1-2 missiles.

You need both, without AWACs the stealth planes need to use their own radar giving themselves away.
