That happens because the G3 charging handle folds forward at the end of its travel and smacks into the steel tube, and the charging handles are often dubiously sourced by US G3 clone manufacturers (i.e. Turkey and Pakistan). The MP5 charging handle doesn't fold so the polymer part doesn't impact anything. Also this is a running bait post and the OP picture is from some airshit subplebbit IIRC. t. HK slap appreciator

Part of it is shitty materials and the other part is that they're not actually attached to a bolt and the handle itself is what stops them when they get to the front of their travel, unlike real MP5s where I think the handle never actually touches the front of the slot.
