If that Type 56 is a late M21, then it's a slightly uncommon rifle that's a good bit better made than other production batches/variants of the Type 56. I got mine not too long ago for $495, market value nowadays would be like $650-800 if you kept it

I bought 1000 rounds of GT right before covid, along with 750 rounds of Wolf Military Classic 5.45x39. I still havent fired a round of either because of scarcity.

I remember it was military grade made for export. It was original all matching with the french tickler handguard.. a really an uncommon variant and probably in that 800-1000 range now
