>Can trans women be drafted? Everything you need to know about the new US army rules
https://www.thepinknews.com/2026/04/10/can-trans-women-be-drafted-us/
>Yesterday (9 April) it was announced that all qualifying US citizens and immigrants living in the US will be automatically registered for the military draft from December 2026.
>The Selective Service System (SSS), the government agency responsible for maintaining draft records, has changed the rules: previously, eligible men were required to register themselves within 30 days of turning 18. Now, eligible men will be registered automatically instead.
>The news led to spikes in Google searches for the term “can trans women be drafted”, as concerns about the Iran war and military conscription continue to rise in the US.
>The answer to that question is…. yes, in theory. Despite the Trump administration’s well documented animosity towards transgender people serving in the military, trans women are eligible for military service.
>As reported by Ladbible, those considered eligible for military service include:
>Most men with disabilities (even if they might later be found unfit for military service)
>US citizens aged 18–25, including dual citizens
>Male immigrants aged 18–25 living in the US
>US citizens living abroad in the same age group
>People assigned male at birth, including transgender women

>However, trans men assigned female at birth are not expected to register.
>Eligibility for military service doesn’t automatically mean you’ll be drafted into a war, however. The draft process works much like a lottery, with eligible people assigned a number, which would then be randomly selected. If your number comes up, you’d be expected to then report for military service. This conscription process was last used during the Vietnam War.
>This seems at odds with the ban on trans people signing up to serve in the US military if they have ever had a “history of gender dysphoria”, which secretary of defence and anti-woke stalwart Pete Hegseth implemented last year, whilst a Pentagon memo filed in court declared trans service members will be “identified” and separated from the US military unless they receive an exemption.
>Exemptions will allegedly only be granted if evidence can be “provided there is a compelling government interest in retaining the service member that directly supports war-fighting capabilities” and they “demonstrate 36 consecutive months of stability in the service member’s gender without clinically significant distress”.
>So, how would any of this work in practice? Can trans women actually be drafted? Well, it is possible that if the ban on trans people serving in the military is in place during any future draft, trans women would likely be classified as 4F (not qualified for service), and either be dismissed or denied entry during the evaluation process.
>In short, the current rules create a paradox, where trans women are technically required to register for military service, but are ineligible to serve under the current policy.

America is the place the founded transgender rights movement. If America didn't exist, you trannies won't exist.

We haven't had a draft since the 70s. I wonder what would even happen. I'm just not gonna go. Not MtF.

This isn't a tranny or american issue. Compulsory drafts affect men across the world. Not that it's moral.

alot of countries are bringing it back, germany did. because we are headed to ww III. The issue is Trump banned trannies and that ban could be used as a way to escape the draft.

I want them to try to draft me. Sadly I have autism so I don't think I can be drafted. I want to be jailed for fighting draft dodging.

I am FtM and was sent a SS notice when I got my ID. My birth cert is F (Because I cannot change it because I was born in Texas), but I changed my name and sex on my social security card before it was banned. Would not be surprised if this meant I would automatically be enlisted, as my only surviving female document is state owned, not federal.

>watch them use this to make all draft-eligible trannies guilty of committing a crime because they're banned from serving
that's not how that works. you are simply exempt from enlistment and get a exception from the draft. If you have underwent SRS, taking HRT or other cross-sex drugs you are banned for life.

The OG trans rights activists in America were mostly black and Puerto Rican communists who were closely allied with the Black Panthers and their ilk. They would have laughed at the idea of holding up America as the birthplace of trans rights as a defense of the US as a nation state.

you seem to be making the critical error of assuming they will apply the same standards or follow their own laws
>>43276224
it is one of their openly stated goals

do trannies have free speech? do trannies have access to fire arms? do trannies have right to marriage? right to vote? stop with the fear mongering
>>
>>
>>43276267
they are actively trying to revoke those rights specifically for trannies with boilerplate legislation being introduced scatter-shot across multiple states in a row or all at once
it's not fear-mongering, bro

Become a anti war Christian now so you can be a conscientious objector later, having a long history of verifiable objection to armed conflict will be your best bet to qualify for the most restrictive classification.

This. This whole thing is larp.
The reality is that most trans women are so far past the mental stability threshold that there's no fucking way they'd actually want us.
My bet is they'll institute the Klinger Rule at some point just to give Fox News something to talk about for a day to distract from something Israel is doing.

Saw an instagram reel, one guy asked "would you fight?"
"Nah bro, im just gonna claim in transgender, i got a wife and kids, but fuck em' im a tranny now"
So the criteria has to be tightened to srs. It will be offered by the government. If you don't serve, no more dick

any of kind of loss or genital I think disqualify from service.
even taking HRT means you are banned from life. or any documentation of gender dysphoria.
I'm not trans, but I was diagnosed with autism and asperger syndrome in 2nd grade, so I am exempt from draft.

I am not transgender, I am a bisexual cis guy with autism, so I would probably become someone's prison bitch.

If they ever actually get to the point of needing a draft, then things are so fucked that they'll probably significantly loosen the rules around stuff like that just so they can get warm bodies. Look up Project 100000 from the Vietnam era, they started drafting literal retards knowing they wouldn't meet the bare minimum of standards and sent them into combat anyway. A lot of them were either killed at disproportionately high rates or got dishonorable discharges which ruin your life like a felony conviction.

I (ftm) did successfully register a while back after changing the sex associated with my ssn to avoid having to provide medical evidence of being trans if something ever asked for my number. I live in Canada now though so I'm not concerned about actually getting drafted.
