I am really social irl and have had multiple large friend groups but for some reason I've always just preferred to be alone and chat online with my friends and then schedule something every once and a while only. The only people I tolerate being around 24/7 are partners.

same, I prefer to be on my own most of the time, I only like going out for events and stuff every once in a while. I've always preferred hanging out with small groups of friends too, or even just one on one, it feels much more intimate and earnest.

lots of people want to be my acquaintance but i dont know how to make closer friends or how to be a friends. im also emotionally still a bit unstable (medicated and in therapy), it's getting better, but people really get put off by you when you have flashbacks public. im also somewhat attractive so a lot of girls just want to have sex with me and i get hurt when they dont want to be friends. ive been kinda isolated for the last couple months because i got kinda burnt out.

ive spent my whole life being mostly isolated so it's a state im comfortable with. i know it's bad for me but it is exhausting trying and failing when i try to form closer relationships.

Big social groups are my weakness.... i hate social dynanics with more than 2 people including me..... it becomes so hard to navigate. And its usually just being a follower ... following people around is so boring.. i wanna do what i want not what some democratic social group decides they want to do.
