>"All men are susceptible to old age, sickness, and death!"
>*snickers*
>"W-who is that?!"
>Bryan Johnson, most biologically measured man in history walks in the room
>"Actually, aging, illness and death are a consequence of our body's inability to reproduce cells at a constant rate due to accumulated inflammation. This inflammation is directly caused by our environment and lifestyle, as we don't see the long term harm in consuming even mildly pro-inflammatory liquid and solid nutrients, disregard proper rest and opt for a stressful living, all under the excuse that the failure of the body is inevitable, so might as well leverage it "better" life quality through pursuance of purposeless (in terms of enhancing life) material goods. Indeed, suffering, old age, and death might have been inevitable in the time of teacher Gautama, but in the post-scarcity society towards which we are moving towards, there is no reason our lifespan should have a cap, if aging is a function of cellular inflammation, as I have demonstrated myself, now aging at a rate slower than a teenager."

> What was a Roman of the 3rd, 4th, or 5th century like, physically and morally? A man of average height, weak in constitution and appearance, with a little of the blood of every imaginable race in his veins; believing himself to be the foremost man in the universe, and, to prove it, insolent, obsequious, ignorant, a thief, depraved, ready to sell his sister, his daughter, his wife, his country, and his master, and endowed with an unparalleled fear of poverty, suffering, fatigue, and death. Moreover, he had no doubt that the globe and its retinue of planets had been made for him alone.
People like picrel make me think the Germanic nations of today have already reached this pathetic stage of degradation.

Whether we live to 90 or 900, the psycho-physical still withers and dies does it not?
Plus living in a meat suit for an extended period of time will be tiring. Imagine brushing your teeth and tying your shoe laces for an eternity.
No thanks.
I'll see you anons in the Pleroma

The only thing he actually does that made a measurable difference is blood plasma transfers with his son, which is why he's holding a vial of blood in the pic. This isn't new or groundbreaking. All the ghouls in congress have been doing it for a long time and source on demand organs from the same ukrainian 'donors.'

His skin is fucking yellow and his face just looks like the face of a regular 50 years old guy. The dyed hair is doing some very heavy lifting there to make him appear somewhat youthful.

Aging can definitely be extended to maybe double what it is. More importantly we can be in top shape for longer instead of a slow decay past 30 and 40.
Unfortunately the best ways of doing this is genetic manipulation in utero. Anyone born already is fucked or will have some RNA backdoor bandaid at best.
Meanwhile things like that jap tooth regrowing can change the life of a billion people. Eye surgeries are gamechangers as well. Give men 50+ some T and you’ve increased their wellbeing as well.

Unironically healthspan maxxing is really a parody of living, which is another way of saying he's dead and he'll never get to be alive by running away from it. A known now-dead street philosopher said it best "Why am I dying to live when I'm just living to die"
