Is there even such thing as good trans literature? Im reading through the vegetarian and some Ernest Hemingway but it's written through an unrealistic cis perspective.
Cis female and cis male and I can't really put myself in the characters shoes because the love parts are always so contrived and weird fantasy.

Adrift tranny quits her job and drives across the country and tries not to have a mental breakdown about being a tranny while entering into a relationship with a straight man. More or less a continuous mental breakdown because being a tranny sucks for a thousand different reasons. Very, very good novel. Ignore the inevitable seethe in the replies to this post
