He is once again vindicated. The pandemic and following timeline mindbroke normies and ever since there has been an explosion of religion of spirituality which are not true to themselves but parodies and caricatures centered around stereotyped symbols of what those religions used to actually be. "Spiritual retreats" and newfound religion are voge among people trying to find something to hang on during a period of increasingly troubled times.

Religious sentiment had a much larger revival in the 50s and 90s than is happening now. If you can't do the rest of the mental work to see how that ruins your op argument you're not smart enough for me to want to converse with you. Good day madam.

It works perfectly if you learn to look for what is not explicitly stated but rather implied.
You need to ask yourself how can Spengler hold certain views that seem contradictory to statements he makes.
Spenger himself seems to transcend the schizm he writes about but states that no such a thing is possible.
The trick I think is to try and realize Spengler's point if view when reading this. To ask yourself what does Spengler see that I don't. In truth it's only one piece of a larger mystery but you'll have to find the rest yourself.
Skim over the boring architecture, art stuff and really look for the underlying message.
It's one of the few books (1 out of 4?) That helped me form a clearer ubderstanding of reality.
Absolutely invaluable.

There's not really any sort of religious renewal going on in Europe except for stuff downstream from American right wing politics and some neopagan larp that's maybe 0.5% of the population, from what I've seen.
