If everyone only did work that they “loved and believed in” civilization would collapse in a week. There would be no one to run the machines or do the paperwork. Adults are supposed to understand that what we want isn’t the same
as what everyone else needs, and it’s on us to adjust ourselves accordingly.
Also, the biggest problem with a conspiracy theory that there is a secret group of rich people secretly running the world is the fact that there is a non secret group of rich people non secretly running the world.
Does god actively give little kids inoperable brain cancer, or does he just let them get it and then sit back and watch while it slowly kills them? This isn’t rhetorical, I’m actually looking for an answer

Yes. Also, them getting brain cancer is necessary, for some reason we dont know, for the world to Be as it is. That's it a satisfying idea until you've lived enough to actually understand it, I used to think it was absurd. But we really don't know very much so, objectively, the most absurd thing here is that we think ourselves capable of judging God. It's more absurd than an infant decrying bedtime as an abuse of its human rights.
But again, unless you already believe in it it's basically impossible to accept emotionally.

This relies on the assumption that everybody is some art school homo. I've known tons of guys that would pick being a concrete pourer over a professional as an author. There's even a sub-class of golems that just want to put in their 8 hours at a factory or warehouse, so they can go home and smoke weed and play video games for the rest of the day.

why should you care about what everyone else needs. sure if everyone did what they wanted, categorical imperative, society would collapse, but that's not happening anyways. so do what you want, if you can.

Yeah but mind numbing boring work should be there for recovery purposes or teenagers, especially with fiat money the economy is win-win.
