I am almost done with this series. I'm on the 2nd-to-last book. And I would not recommend it to anyone.
I somehow fucking hate it and love it at the same time. I think it's given me actual Stockholm syndrome from my sunk cost fallacy.

I've read it multiple times and recommend it to anyone who reads at a reasonable rate and isnt joyless.

The problem with the series is that you have to read Brandon Sanderson's writing if you want to finish it.

I feel the same way.It's very formulaic and predictable,but also cozy and fun at the same time.The characters get on my nerves but after reading hundreds of pages they start to grow on you.The story is linear and the conflicts are resolved too easily,but I couldn't stop reading.Some parts drag,but I liked them even more for that,especially Matt's arc in Ebou Dar.It really is quintessential fantasy slop
