[EPISODE 18: WHAT LIES AT WRATH'S END]

Even in its ravaged state, Von Braun's partially functioning docks are put back into operation to accommodate the arrival of Kamille's forces. While Jerid continues to gather the last survivors of his first occupation of the city, Kamille Bidan works with maintenance staff to prepare the Alexandria's Mobile Suits for the final assault on Granada. Having had to suffer the loss of so many for this day, Kamille can barely suppress the chaotic stream of emotions coursing through him as he focuses on fine tuning the capture Zeta Gundam to his needs. Just as the final adjustments are made, the moment of clarity causes Kamille to reflect on the danger of the upcoming battle, with Leila appearing to no longer have any desire to pilot, along with Fa's lack of combat expertise. While he contemplates removing both from the crew for their own safety, his thoughts are broken by the sound of Fa's voice yelling in the hangar. Pulling himself out from the Zeta's opened abdomen, he finds Fa arguing with a group of engineers over the Mega Launcher originally meant for the now damaged Hyaku Shiki.

>Fa: I have more than enough experience to use it!
>Titan Engineer: The launcher itself can't be used independently, at least no without a proper generator funneling it energy. It was modified to feed off that AEUG machines power supply-
>Fa: If Jerid won't pilot it, then let me do it!
>Kamille: Have you lost it?
>Fa: Kamille, you-

Taking Fa's by her upper arm, Kamille pulls her away from earshot of the others, cornering her.

>Kamille: What changed? Why do you want to fight now?
>Fa:...Some of our-I mean...some of my friends from Green Noa are still fighting for the AEUG. If winning at Granada will get them to give up, I want to end that battle quickly. Jerid was planning on using that weapon to take out their forces quickly, but...I want to just deal a blow that will put an end to this before it gets out of hand!
>>
>>23798024

>Kamille: You are thinking about all of this the wrong way. You can't be selective with who you are attacking on a battlefield when they are-
>Fa: You and Jerid are just looking for excuses to kill even more people. If the battle drags out, there won't be any reason for you to spare anyone-

Kamille moves his hand back to slap Fa, only stopping as he realizes that his childhood friend is expectant of such a thing from him now.

>Kamille:...Leila. Is she doing better?
>Fa: She is confused. Very, very confused...as all of us are now. Are you going to ask me to leave the ship with her?
>Kamille: H-how did you-
>Fa: She really does know you. I won't leave.
>Kamille: Why? If this is for Jerid-
>Fa: None of us can go back to having a normal life, Kamille. Jerid made sure my only chance at is gone now. Please...don't try to make me leave. If you did, you and Jerid would be at your throats earlier than what he is waiting for.
>Kamille: What do you mean by that?
>Fa: Both of you are climbing for the same thing. At the top of that spire, he thinks there will only be room enough for one of you to stand.
>Kamille: Fa...
>Fa: I will follow your orders out there...so just let me use that weapon.

>Who will be assigned to the Hyaku Shiki with the Mega Launcher?

>>23798041
Alright Fa, this is your chance to prove yourself.
we have such an advantage that surely you can't fuck things up.
>>
>>23798041
I'm not worried about Fa screwing the shot up. She has the most motivation to do well out of the three pilots listed. I'm worried about how the results of the shot might affect her, how much blood she'll feel on her hands.
>>
>>23798041
I'm fine with letting Fa prove herself, but I feel like it will backfire for her later on once she truly realizes what she's doing. Kamille and Jerid already know it's going to be a bloodbath, and Fa still thinks she can stop the AEUG from fighting by breaking their spirits when we're already way past that point, and it'll be even worse once Axis enters and the AEUG remnants rally under it. She has some experience thanks to Jerid, but she's still too soft.
>>
>>23798041
ironically Sydle is probably the safest choice here for the purposes of ensuring AEUG death, but I think I don't really care too much who wins this vote
>>
>>23798182

She's actually not. Remember, back before he returned to the Dogos, Scirocco gave her a secret directive. I highly expect her to do some nonsense and while Fa is both a novice and in a crisis of faith, she's still more trustworthy than Sydle.
>>
>>23798041
Fa is probably gonna have a newtype moment and refuse to fire at a critical moment. This is actually still better than I expect Leila or Sydle to perform, though. Leila will be a total deer in the headlights, and Sydle might just fucking shoot one of our guys in the back depending on what Scirocco's orders were.
Give it to Fa and hope she at least gets one or two good shots off is my thinking.
>>
I kind of want to vote for Sydle to make her relevant outside of being Sciroccos least favorite hoe, but Fa is most likely a better choice considering she is less likely to betray us for dumb reasons. Leila can stay in the kitchen for all I care.
>>
>>23798288
I mean if Leila sticks close to us hopefully she can have a "first battle" (from her pov) that doesn't go too badly here. Kill a couple of Nemos or something. Get over the initial shock of taking a human life, or being in mortal danger herself.
Axis probably have a shitload of Cybers and AEUG turncoats to make up for their typical achilles heel of a low ace count. We need aces of our own, especially since we're losing Bask's crew, probably the Pezun guys, and whoever else dies on Earth.
>>

>Mineva at heart is just a good girl who misses her fake mom and dad
;__;
>>
>>23798190
I don't recall that but I'll take your word for it.
The only private talk that comes to mind is her being scolded for stealing the Zeta
>>
>>23798475
It would be a hard sell for Mineva to actually be a heartless absolute monarch at age 6, so Haman being once again the puppetmaster was always likely.
>>
>>23798501
I honestly thought Haman might have been dead for a hot minute.
>>
>>23798502
Considering how she has been kept even more in the shadows than Mineva and the other Axis aces I get the feeling she is going to be some manner of more fucked up than usual.
>>
>>23798590
Somewhere along the line some absolutely insane levels of NTR happened. My theory is that Amuro was about to make an honest connection with Haman, Char didn't like that at all, and then Char used his good looks to fuck Haman before Amuro got the chance. Char doesn't actually want shit to do with Haman, and superficially cockblocking Amuro is Char's way at getting him back for what happened with Lalah.

Axis has become an episode of The Jerry Springer Show and I am SO here for it.
>>
>>23798480

>Scirocco: Sydle! I can tell you were not assigned to that Mobile Suit...that would be a severe act of insubordination. As it stands though, Jerid Messa is who you have been assigned to take orders from...so I will let him decide how you should be punished for that act.
>Sydle: Why are you still playing this game with our lives?! You sent me here to see just how irrational and moronic the regular Titan leadership are, so why won't you let me prove my competence?! I can't take this-
>Scirocco: Land the Zeta, and return to your quarters on the Alexandria. We will talk about this...privately.

That's the last Sydle actually came up. It was never followed up on but I highly doubt that she was just scolded and that was that.
>>
>>23798621
Sydle was acting like a retard then ended up not even fighting back when Jerid hit her so I do believe she just got scolded, I'm not saying she isn't apart of some bigger plan but that was when Scirocco is clearly just tired of her
>>
>>23798621
Eh, that's subtle enough that I don't mind letting Sydle join us in battle. Just not taking away our Zeta.
I would be extremely skeptical if Sydle claims to have swapped to our side from Scirocco's, though.
>>
>>23798041
Just wanna mention giving Fa the Hyaku Shiki will also be a form of induction into the Black Devil Squadron.

The Hyaku Shiki is related to Gundams. If was Jerid's machine and he's equal with Kamille. It also has the reputation of being a devil thats tormented AEUG. Fa piloting the machine will put her side by side with Jerid and Kamille. Maybe even literally as AEUG forces will definitely go for the giant gun being pointed at them.
>>
>>23798615
Char: Amuro, you're going to have to pilot the Qubeley.
Amuro: Me? What happened to Haman?
Char: She can't do it in her current...condition.
Amuro: Condition? I-is she hurt? What did you do?
Char: *smirks* I've decided to take your advice, take responsibility, and carry on the Deikun legacy.
Amuro: You mean- you son of a bitch. *punches Char*
Char: You know, a simple congratulations would have sufficed.
Audience: Jer-ry! Jer-ry! Jer-ry!

Hey, wait a second. The Argama Kai might have a Hyper Mega Particle Cannon, like the regular Argama did in the second half of ZZ.
If it does, it might just obliterate Fa with one shot once she's detected, as a necessary step to protect itself.
Welp, hope she's real good at dodging!
>>
>>23798812
While I guess it could, by default it shouldn't have the hyper ones though
https://youtu.be/tq5bv-Ts_Ss
>>
>>23798823
Oh, I wasn't aware that the Argama Kai is even a thing, really - I thought Copy had it custom-made. That eases my concerns about what it might be capable of. Still, I think we are best off staying away from it while fighting its mobile suits if possible.

>Fa won the vote
Hopefully Fa can get a good shot or two on a massive enemy formation. That way she'd be able to level up pretty fast. Hopefully she can take the mental weight of turning dozens of people into stardust though.
>>
>>23798041

Sensing Fa's resolve to go through with manning the Mega Launcher and shouldering the immense causalities it would bring, Kamille chooses to place his faith in her untested abilities.

>Kamille: You are absolutely certain you can do this? Even if you are the one with the trigger, you'll wait for my order to fire. If you can't do that-
>Fa: I just want all of this fighting to end. Even if you and Jerid have your own intentions-
>Kamille: Damn it Fa, how can you expect me to trust you with this when you are talking like-
>Fa: Be quiet! This is the only way I can understand how she felt...to fully commit to this without any regrets!

While Kamille feels a looming sense of doubt that overtaking Granada would truly bring an end to hostilities, he finds himself quietly desiring the swift and less painful victory that Fa desires.

[Fa has been assigned to the Hyaku Shiki (Mega Launcher-ver)]

As final preparations are made for the invasion of Granada, a disguised force under the command of Brave Cod and Tosh Cray launch an invasion of the "Penta" orbital space station. Having overtaken the base swiftly before a communication could be deployed to Earth, the Pezun insurrectionist prepare multiple shuttles from the station to initiate a descent operation to Dakar, striking the Senate and solidifying a unified Jingoistic military regime to replace them.

>Brave:...I can feel it pulling at us even now.
>Tosh: Once this is concluded, I promise you will never need to leave the Earth again.
>Brave: I'll hold you to that. Now then-

Multiple flashes bursting across Asia, with the lights of civilization being cast into shadow as more explosions envelope the region. Even from their position above Earth, the Pezun insurrectionist watch as even Africa is consumed by the ceaseless carnage being spread by both the rampaging forces of Bask and the final retaliation of Karaba.
>>
>>23799143

No longer restricted by the Federations now defanged forces, Bask's forces freely ravage Asia and Eurasian territories without cease, burning entire region and cities to cinder in their fanatical and mindless attack on anyone or anything they brand as "seditious". While the main Titan army under Bask's Command halts for the night to replenish themselves on looted supplies and the personal belongings of those gathered and murdered, the Titan's second-in-command is made aware of the invasion on Kilimanjaro. Rather than immediately acting to support Jamitov however, Bask chooses to wait until the base is completely overrun to act.

>Bask: (You've more than served your purpose, Jamitov. The time for these spacenoid cretins end has finally come! There so many more of them that need to be burned...!!)

Meanwhile in the Arabian Peninsula, Mouar travels onboard a Base Jabber alongside a member of the India Newtype labs, her senses greatly expanded from Director Robins special experiment on her body.

>India Newtype Lab Staff: Not Kilimanjaro?
>Mouar: Something truly horrible is there, but...it isn't him. What she did to me...is this what being a Newtype is? I...don't like it.
>India Newtype Lab Staff: I assure you that these side effects will subside soon enough. Still, you are being drawn to something in...northern Africa? Is it going to Dakar?
>Mouar: Why would he go there...unless...?!

As Mouar pushes her Base Jabber's boosters to full power to reach Dakar sooner, Director Robins licks her lips as she reads over the mental wave data from her Earthbound subject, finding all of them to be within viable capabilities to become Newtypes.

>Director Robins: (Just a few days longer, my Bask. Then you will be the one that history remembers as its savior. The final living evidence of the failure of Zeon Deikun and his followers.)

>Scirocco: It is an honor to finally meet you, Miss Noa.

Holding her two children close, Mirai faces both of them towards her thighs as she is brought before Paptimus Scirocco at the Gryps 2 installation.

>Scirocco: Thank you for keeping them safe in my absence, Haifan.
>Haifan: It was simply my duty, Lord Paptimus.
>Mirai: If it were not for you...Bright would be still be-
>Scirocco: You may not believe me, but I mourn alongside you. He was a man with such potential and ability...I do wonder if his children had inherited those gifts-

Mirai holds Hathaway and Cheimin closer, her expression growing increasingly more agitated as she holds back the urge to lunge herself at Scirocco for his part in her husbands death and to protect her children.

>Scirocco:...Ah, I see it now. It was never about the physicality, but the kind of woman you are. I imagine you have raised both of your children well-
>Mirai: Don't even think of trying to harm them.
>Scirocco: Should I ever act in a manner that would endanger them, I give you my permission to strike me down. As I had promised your husband, all of your needs will be taken care of...regardless of what they may be-

Breaking away from Mirai's grip, Hathaway tackles into Scirocco's leg, partially staggering the Jovian.

>Mirai: Hathaway, stop!
>Hathaway: S-stay away from Mommy and sister!

Taking a knee to be at Hathaway's eye level, Scirocco smirks as he pulls away the synthetic skin over his damaged eye, seeking to unnerve the small boy. Despite the sight, Hathaway refuses to rush back to Mirai, instead seeking to protect his mother and sibling.

>Scirocco: Hathaway, was it? So young, and yet so willing to protect the women in his life...how beautiful.
>Hathaway: Are you...a bad guy?
>Scirocco: Do I look like one, Hathaway? Would you like me to show the "bad guy" who took your father away?
>Mirai: Stop it! Don't-
>Scirocco: Should you wish to know the truth, I would be more than happy to show you...friend.

[Additional Titan forces are on route to Von Braun. An additional 10 squadrons will arrive in 1 turn]

Jerid's call to action had been a completely success, regardless of his intentions in doing so. With so many forces now on route to aid in the assault on Granada, victory truly appears to be all but assured against the last of the AEUG's forces. As Kamille contemplates trying to speak with Leila about being moved to safety, he is stopped by an unusually agitated Sydle.

>Kamille:...Sydle, if this is about your Mobile Suit-
>Sydle: Captain Paptimus wanted to speak with you...and Sarah. Together. N-now...!
>Kamille: How do you even know that? Did Scirocco-

Sydle hands over a small data disk with a specific laser-line designation burned onto it. Looking back towards the Zeta Gundam, Sydle struggles to contain her immense frustration.

>Sydle: Please excuse me-
>Kamille: Hey, don't just walk away. Did he put you up to this? Sydle-

Feeling Kamille's hand against her shoulder, Sydle barely keeps herself from flailing to break her grip.

>Sydle: He made it clear he only wanted to speak to you and Sarah.
>Kamille: Why did he contact you privately? Why all of this secrecy?

Turning her face back to Kamille's, her boyish face contorts into a deep scowl. Shrugging away Kamille's hand, Sydle shambles herself out from the hangar. Already juggling so many other responsibilities, Kamille forces himself to ignore Sydle's attitude for the moment, instead turning his attention to learning the exact nature of why Scirocco would want to contact him now, along with requesting for Sarah to accompany him.
>>
>>23799244

Entering into Sarah's quarters, Kamille finds the young pilot swinging her leg against a sandbag.

>Sarah: Commander Bidan! Sir!
>Kamille: Easy, we aren't on duty right now. You sure that pushing yourself like this right before we depart is such a wise idea?
>Sarah: Four hasn't been the same recently, so I need to keep practicing, even if she can't help me.
>Kamille: Four is still locked in her quarters? Damn, did what happened at Pezun really affect her that much...look, Sarah, I need you to come with me.
>Sarah: Did something happen?
>Kamille: Sort of. Sydle said that Scirocco had wanted to talk to us both. I have no idea what this is about, but considering he outfitted you and Sydle with your machines, he must have something for you to know. No idea why he is being so secretive about this though...

Quickly showering and tidying herself, Sarah accompanies Kamille to the Alexandria's briefing room, using its communication line to send a laser signal using the data disk provided by Sydle. Within seconds, the rooms view screen indicates a pending connection signal, with Scirocco soon appearing before the two with his facial scarring on full display.

>Scirocco: Ah, you took longer than I expected.
>Kamille: Scirocco...what is this about? When did you put Sydle up to this?
>Scirocco: A direct communication not masked through a laser-line could be intercepted rather easily on the Moon.
>Sarah: M-master Paptimus...your face-
>Scirocco: Sweet Sarah, always so attentive. It is nothing to be concerned with at all. It can be properly healed any time I desire...that is not important though. Considering that you both intend to attack the Moon, it would be going against his Excellencies own intentions.
>Kamille: We aren't stopping-
>Scirocco: Oh, of course not. I didn't come here to stand in your way. The fall of Granada will mark a great shift in history. One that will noted by future generations...I just want to ensure you are aware of what that means.

>>
>>23799271

>Kamille: This communication line is going to...Gryps 2? Scirocco, do you actually intend to help us, or just to observe...or something else?
>Scirocco: "Something else"? Now whatever could you mean?
>Kamille: Stop dancing around why you called us here and just say it. If you intend to threaten us-
>Sarah: Kamille, he...wouldn't-
>Scirocco: You have my solemn word that I will do nothing to impede your attack on Granada. Do as you wish...having said that though, I simply want to make sure you both are ready for the future that will await when it falls. That you both are properly equipped to handle the aftermath of becoming a part of the gears of history.
>Kamille: Scirocco...! Enough! We need to focus on readying this attack-
>Scirocco: I want an apology.

Kamille awkwardly looks around the briefing room for a brief moment, before looking back to the view screen.

>Kamille: A-are you actually doing this? Now?
>Scirocco: I just want to hear you say the exact words "I am sorry". I don't care if you mean it or not, but I want to hear it from your mouth.
>Kamille: For what? You can't be seriously-
>Scirocco: Those who have the capability to properly change the world understand there are times when certain words need to be spoken, regardless of their personal feelings.
>Kamille: What are you even-
>Sarah: No. Absolutely not, Mast...No! Paptimus Scirocco!
>Kamille: Sarah?
>Sarah: Are you actually being this petty? That is...it's just pathetic! Did you actually ask for me to be here so you would have an audience?

Scirocco leans back in his seat, his smile slowly growing as Sarah's emotions spike with anger and disappointment towards him.

>Scirocco: Please, do continue. You appear to have picked up a good deal from Kamille-
>Sarah: You make a single mistake, and you can't get over it! We already forgave you for that, and you can't accept it?!
>Scirocco: All I am asking for is the words "I." "Am." "Sorry." From you...Kamille.
>>
>>23799271
>Sweet Sarah, always so attentive. It is nothing to be concerned with at all. It can be properly healed any time I desire
This line is great because we've seen him with the scar already fixed earlier this run Scirocco put back the scar just to guilt Sarah here and to look cool to people who don't know he can have it removed when he wants. The idea that Scirocco got the scar fixed then had a "wait a minute this scar could be useful to me" moment before getting it put back is really funny. I wonder if he can turn the scar on and off at will or if he's already got his multiple bodies plan from Walpurgis up and running.
>>
>>23799299
Scirocco is intentionally being extremely provocative and trying to get a reaction again. This seems to be a genuine test though, one to to see if Kamille is indeed a equal to him.

The Jovian has a point though. Yes there are times when people need to put aside their feelings and say things they don't mean. Put up a mask to hide your true intentions. You can't go around with your emotions unbarred screaming at everything and bashing in everyone's head like a cave man. Jerid was doing exactly that and if Kamille didn't come and wrangle him into being a competent leader he would be dead.

So if it is a decision Kamille should apologize. Even if it's just not to get the desired outburst that Scirocco is trying to goad him into.
>>
>>23799299

Kamille remains silent, baffled by the childish and petty request from Scirocco of all people. Had a man like him truly had his ego so heavily bruised by being seen as wrong? Kamille feels a slight pain in his head as Sarah's thoughts meld with his own, with her critiques of Scirocco growing more heavy and emotional as she unintentionally finds herself speaking Kamille's own thoughts as her own. Realizing that Scirocco may have intended this reaction from the start, Kamille grows increasingly frustrated, only for him to see a short vision of Sarah being doted on by both himself and Scirocco.

>Kamille: What are you trying to prove with this? Do you even realize how...just absolutely stupid this makes you look?! All of this over-
>Sarah: Don't, Kamille. Don't...please don't apologize to him.
>Scirocco: How dramatic! Truly, you must be without an equal, Kamille Bidan! Sarah simply can't help herself, can she-
>Kamille: Shut up! Damn you for trying to agitate us!
>Scirocco: You obviously have everything figured, Kamille Bidan. So much so that you can't even give me a simple word...because you are just so superior, aren't you-
>Sarah: Shut up-Shut up-SHUT UP!!
>Scirocco: I think i've heard all I need to. On the count of five, i'll end this communication. When I do, you'll be ready to make history with your own hands, Kamille. I look so forward to seeing it. One...two...three-

Sarah grabs for the data disk, intent on breaking it. Realizing that his own emotions are flowing freely through Sarah, Kamille makes a decision.

>How will Kamille respond to Scirocco's actions?

I say let Sarah actually speak for herself, afterall we're no puppets
>>
>>23799318
I know I'm going to regret option 3, but...
>>
>>23799318
I think just letting Sarah be on her own without any influence is good. Nothing like Leila and it's clear Scirocco is trying to pull a "SEE? WE ARE THE SAME!" on Kamille. He's clearly wanting the communication to end prematurely and is trying to stir shit, so Number 3 seems like the ideal choice regardless of whether or not we get Sarah points.
>>
>>23799318
I'm considering letting Sarah do her thing, she's been on a roll thus far and deserves to get her thoughts off her chest

>Kamille feels a slight pain in his head as Sarah's thoughts meld with his own, with her critiques of Scirocco growing more heavy and emotional as she unintentionally finds herself speaking Kamille's own thoughts as her own.
If this phenomena is happening to Sarah who else is it happening too? How many members of the Alexandria have inadvertently been expressing Kamille's unconscious thoughts and desires? Maybe Fa finally fell to Kamille's passive influence and that's why she desired to pilot the Hyaku Shiki.

Hell this passive ability might be the reason Kamille and Jerid's relationship has been so strange this run. When Kamille returned from Earth with this unconscious ability to mold people Jerid's lesser newtype senses told him something was wrong but he couldn't express what. Then after Jerid and Kamille beat eachother half to death the walls broke down between them and Kamille was subconsciously able to manipulate Jerid as their influence with eachother grew. It's why Jerid suddenly became more defensive and competent.

Kamille's subconscious ability is probably what Scirocco thought the biosensor was doing to the Alexandria. Scirocco was right in that a newtype phenomena was effecting the crew of the Alexandria he just got the source wrong, it was Kamille himself doing it not the biosensor. That's why the entire crew tried to lynch Scirocco when he arrived, they were venting Kamille's frustration with the jovian. It's also why they stopped, even Jerid, when Kamille called Scirocco's bluff.
>>
>>23799824
What if the influence points are actually just how much Kamille has mind merged with a person? We got it to max with Leila and she was basically Kamille's psycho tendencies unchained. Either that or it's Psycho Gundam fuckery.
>>
>>23799318
Honestly, we'll need all the help we can get to take on Bask and the New Desides. Once Jamitov is dead, they will inevitably come after us and the colonies.
If we accept this humiliation, however, we'll have the support of Scirocco, the Jupitris, and potentially Gryps 2, Luna II, and Yazan, at least until he decides that switching sides to the Earth supremacists is more appealing.
Alternatively, we have Sarah as our wild card. She could either convince Scirocco to help us sincerely out of the love he truly feels for her, or make him realize that we've shattered his deception, given this woman independence, and that we're incapable of staring him down, which will enrage the syrup man like nothing else.
>>
>>23799975
Whatever the case Kamille is a cognitohazard just being around him leads to people being passively influenced into being more useful to him. Supporting him, keeping him safe, accomplishing his goals. Worst of all he's barely aware of it.

If you're right about the mind meld or connection thing with influence though that'd be incredibly worrying. Since a connection like that is a two way street so whoever Kamille is highly influential with is also influencing him, and whoever else he's connected with. A connection from Jerid to Kamille to Sarah for example would explain why she's acting out now.

I think the mind meld thing is not entirely true, I believe Sarah is more liberated yes but not purely because of Kamille.

I think the situation on Alexandria is the newtypes in general are influencing each other off of their positive interactions with one another in general, that is why Sarah is picking up on Four's martial prowess
>>
So is the same thing happening in Zeon? Is Amuro just a complete psycho this run because he has been accidentally psychically influenced by two huge shitheads?
>>
>>23800167
Sarah being the best she is now could be because of Kamille's connection to both her and Four. His influence with both of them is at 4/5 meaning he could be influencing them into being close friends and copying eachother. Kamille likes how Four supports him and Sarah could be subconsciously influenced into acting like her.
>>
>>23800220
Didn't Four and Sarah reach that understanding before Sarah got level 4 with Kamille though?
>>
If this subconscious mind meld theory holds any weight would that mean Sciroccos actions here are actually him being petulant? The two of them have a high connection so it is possible Scirocco is allowing himself to be insanely petty over being called out over the Zeta fuckup.
>>
>>23800225
Sarah only started acting like this after Kamille called Scirocco's bluff with the Biosensor which got her influence to 4/5. Before that they did train a bit together and they supported Kamille when he damaged the biosensor.
>>
>>23800241
Sarah went on a full on spar to settle a disagreement before the biosensor damage even happened to which Four beat the shit out of her, that's prime Four behavior before reaching 4/5
>>
>>23800232
Kamille's influence with Scirocco was 3/5 so you're probably right. Though the jovian probably isn't just testing Kamille and Sarah, but also himself to see if he's been affected like the Alexandria crew. Despite not being physically present around Kamille, Scirocco's personality has changed quite a bit since he met him. Becoming more hotheaded and emotion, just like Kamille.

The entire scenario here likely has the purpose to gauge how much Kamille is subconsciously influencing Sarah, and how much she's acting on it. Whatever choice wins the vote will likely directly lead to Scirocco being subconsciously effected further by Kamille or the connection being weakened.
>>
>>23800307

Is Scirocco at 3/5? We haven't really pal'd around with him since prior to departing for Earth and we haven't gotten updates with him beyond the influence remaining unchanged. Kinda wish we'd get a influence number whether they changed or not after a decision.

Kamille grabs for Sarah's wrist, stopping her from cutting off the communication. Even as she tries to yank herself free, Kamille maintains a firm hold over her.

>Sarah: Don't do this! I am not going to let you both act like this-
>Kamille: I want you to talk to him yourself. I know that, that you feel inclined to say certain things. Things that feel natural...things that when we share common ground on, it just...pushes you to-
>Scirocco: Did you want me to wait until you finish chatting, or is what you wanted to tell me after it?
>Sarah: You are just so-
>Kamille: I know what you really want, Sarah. Say it.
>Sarah: I don't-
>Kamille: It doesn't what I think about it, only that you can express it yourself.

Releasing Sarah's wrist, Kamille steps away from the young Newtype, allowing her a moment to compose her words as she looks back to Scirocco.

>Scirocco: Dear Sarah-
>Sarah: I want to see it, Master Paptimus. More than anything in the entire world, I want to see the future you are working to build.
>Scirocco: Oh? Is that right? If I didn't know any better, Kamille already showed you something more agreeable to-
>Sarah: Stop trying to sabotage yourself! Why do you have to isolate yourself from those who care about you?! Why can't you let yourself be the man worthy of the dream you are capable of making a reality?!

Even from the hundreds of thousands of miles separating them, Scirocco appears unusually unnerved by Sarah's words. Looking back to Kamille, Scirocco's moment of doubt shifts back into his usual smug expression.

>Scirocco: Why all the theatrics? Even if you must make Sarah speak in your place, all I asked for were the words-
>Sarah: I want to take my place in the world that you want, Master Paptimus! As the woman worthy of ensuring that future can survive! I want...I want to be cherished by both you and Kamille!

Scirocco head slowly lowers to the ground, his eyes darting as he tries to stabilize his thoughts.
>>

>Sarah boldly declares she wants to be in the middle of a Kamille-Scirocco sandwich
>Scirocco drops his spaghetti
>Kamille probably thought she was going to like, confess to Scirocco and not try to get him in a three-way with her and his less hot-headed male rival
Okay that’s not what I was expecting, but if we really need to make a freaky newtype polycule to counter the one over at Axis we’re well on our way lmao

Kamille and Scirroco are both going "WHAT?" at this revelation.
Kamille: "That's not what I thought she was going to say!"
Scirroco: "Me either!"
>>
>>23802559

>Sarah: All of us make mistakes, Master Paptimus. There are things Kamille has done I can't agree with...there are things that I have trouble sleeping at night knowing I have done...you don't have to be any different! It was because you allowed Kamille to follow us that all of this-
>Scirocco: Ghhh...!!
>Sarah: M-Mast-
>Scirocco: What is my "dream", Kamille? Ha...hahaha! You think that you can undermine me through head games, you moronic child?! That you can make me cast doubt over my own resolve just because-
>Sarah: You want a future where all of mankind can live as they see fit, while respecting and growing from one another regardless of their differences. A world where humanity will willingly embrace advancing for their collective benefit. That is world I want to see as well...and I know Kamille also-
>Scirocco: Repugnant...!

As that single word escapes Scirocco's mouth, Kamille feels a cold shiver running down his spine, as if he had just heard Scirocco's true voice for the first time.

>Kamille: Sarah, I think he understands what you-
>Scirocco: What repulse trite. What a heinous sham! Every single word you fed into her, each one more festering and diseased than the last! You think I would be pathetic enough to allow myself to seep into the same muddied, filthy ideals that lead mankind into its pitiful state?! "Unity"?! "Self-Governance"?! The human race is destined to fall into an age of ignorance and deviancy, as it always has before when a genius arises to grant them eyes to read knowledge! Mouths to speak wisdom! Ears to hear truth!

For the first time, Sarah and Kamille heard not the voice of the proclaimed genius who stood above the common man, but instead broken pitched, deep-seated anger of a man terrified of doubting his own "truth".

>Kamille: Scirocco...!
>Scirocco: You are a living disease, Kamille Bidan. One that will perpetuate humanities endless pursuit of failure and self destruction...and tried to creep that filth in my mind!
>>
>>23802626
Oh no. But somehow conflict was inevitable. Question being, is it okay to have it this soon?
>>
>>23802626
Damn it! Though I wonder if Scirocco here is actually speaking his own words here or the Psycho Gundam infected his mind somehow. At the very least its better to have Scirocco break things off and make it clear we are not friends in a long-distance way like this rather than with a knife in our back.
>>
>>23802626

>>
>>23802626
>>23802631
I'm sure these are Scirocco's own words. Kamille finally managed to break down the emotional and mental walls Scirocco put between him and everyone else. Kamille and Sarah are now seeing the true core of the Jovian so to say.

Scirocco however has been deeply angered by this. Somehow someway some brat he found and wanted to turn into a personal weapon one upped him and put him on the back foot. Despite not even being a schemer or planner like him. Essentially Scirocco got beat at his own game and he's pissed. He's going to be very angry for awhile, but who knows what he'll be like when he calms down a bit.
>>
>>23802639
Maybe he can be Richard again.
>>
>>23802638
I imagine having your emotions forcibly dragged out of you after living your entire life with a cold distant persona is incredibly upsetting. Hell Scirocco is probably being mindbroken right now by the genuine concern and affection Kamille and Sarah respectfully have for him.
>>
>>23802636
We most certainly did not there is currently a prototype rampaging through our high command in Africa. For all we know a small bit could have still existed in the Psycommu that latched onto Scirocco as it was destroyed.
>>23802639
Here's the thing though he was described as
>but instead broken pitched, deep-seated anger of a man terrified of doubting his own "truth".
Even if these are his own words or if they're being amplified by something involving the Psycho Gundam Scirocco is shaky on if what his original internal thoughts were is correct or wrong now, he's lashing out because he wants those internal thoughts to be correct because if they're wrong, he's done thing's he can't justify. He seems to think our ideas have merit but can't stand it since he's done so much for his ideas this is certainly the 3/5 influence we have with him working he hates that he sees our side as potentially correct, if get even 1 more point with him somehow there's a real chance he'll flip to seeing us as correct and that is outward mask as the better feature than his inward plan.
>>
>>23802559
>>23802626
Holy shit I didn't expect things to unfold like this. This is much better than just flipping him off, he got genuinely angry at Sarah breaking him down with pure honesty.
I still kind of hope Syrupman will eventually find enough reason to come around and join us, but if he doesn't, then that's fine I guess. We got to screw him over by just being honest and not manipulating his subordinates, kek
>>
>>23802649
>>23802650
I think the best part about this is how Scirocco is having to grapple with Kamille genuinely seeing him as a friend. Kamille wouldn't have had Sarah speak about her true feelings if he wasn't genuinely concerned Scirocco and his relationship with Sarah. Kamille doesn't get people's loyalty just to use them for his own goals like Scirocco, he actually cares about them personally like Jerid or Four.

That fact is making Scirocco realize that he never had to isolate himself or use people like he does. All this time Syrupman could've had true companionship and friends. A truth he thought completely impossible has been shoved in his face.
>>
>>23802656
Your post reminds me of how Lex Luthor once was told that Superman is Clark Kent, and the baldie simply could not accept that idea at all, believing that any man with such power would lord it over others and not use it to help and be nice.
>>
>>23802660
Spot on. Scirocco refuses to believe that Kamille isn't lording his powers over those around him. So he's deluding himself into saying that Kamille is controlling Sarah trying to manipulate him.

It's pretty funny to think that Scirocco thought Kamille was intentionally mind controlling Jerid into doing his bidding though.
>>
Showing the power of friendship and (polyamorous) love to Syrope is cool and all, but these mental walls.. these emotional blockades aren't coming down peacefully, we need to be reaaal careful about this.
The kid inside Scirocco is crying, can we /m/en save him?
>>
>>23802626

>Sarah: You...don't believe any of that-
>Scirocco: Y-you actually think that "you" are the kind of woman that would make a tangible difference, Sarah? You are a pet. A creature that lacks its own autonomy, and exists only because it amuses those who allowed it live. If you weren't such an adorable genetic mutt, your life would have ended the same as the rest of the "women" that forced me to exist to clean up the mess humanity created! Kamille, you can't be allowed to-

Scirocco's voice hitches as he looks upon Sarah's crestfallen, horrified expression at his description of her. Unable to look at her any longer out of his barely contained shame, Scirocco looks back to Kamille, his voice stabilizing.

>Scirocco:...I seek absolutely everything you stand against, boy. You, and everyone aboard that ship, only existed to suit my needs. Just what exactly would happen if I reported your "treason"? Just who would believe your innocence above-
>Kamille: Just go back to Jupiter. Go back to where ever mankind isn't inconveniencing you any longer...because I am going to give Sarah that world she thought you wanted-
>Scirocco: You can't attack Granada! If you do, Axis will-

Ripping the data reader from the wall, Kamille chucks it against the view screen in a moment of quiet, yet focused anger.

>Kamille: Sarah, I didn't...mean for any of that to-
>Sarah: Forgive him.
>Kamille: How can you-

Sarah slumps to the floor, clutching her knees as she rocks herself.

[Scirocco is now on a mission]
>>
>>23802690
Holy shit, Scirocco. The fuck?
>Also Axis.
Just fuck.
>>
>>23802690
Shit, he really is going to end up like a Christopher Lee character.
>>
>>23802690
This Scirocco slaps you can actively see him fighting his own internal battle with himself here, he hates what he's saying to Sarah and even after saying that he and Kamille are diametrically opposed still tries to warn us about why attacking Granada is a bad idea.

I really hope we don't end up at irresolvable blows with him we've turned him into our shonen rival now hopefully the rivalry doesn't end with one of us dead.
>>
>>23802631
Everything Scirocco said here is just what he believed in canon, so I don't think he is under anyone's compulsion. He just got majorly spooked that
A) even someone as loyal as Sarah doesn't believe in his vision, and
B) we managed to implant a tiny amount of self-doubt into his supposedly perfect mind
>>
>>23802697
>>23802690
>Scirocco: You can't attack Granada! If you do, Axis will-
Does literally everyone but Kamille and Jerid know that Axis is coming? It's the problem literally everyone seems to be preparing for, while our crew is moving ahead with their own desires to change the world.
>>23802705
Kamille didn't even lose influence with Scirocco here, whatever the case Syrupman still sees him and Sarah as valuable. Let's just hope whatever mission Scirocco is sending himself on isn't to sabotage and stop us.

Also if the time comes and Scirocco is genuinely showing guilt and repentance for his actions. We should have Kamille forgive him. Every hurtful thing said here was to put back the walls Scirocco had between himself and everyone else. Despite that though he feels genuine shame and guilt doing it.
>>
>>23803036
>Kamille didn't even lose influence with Scirocco here
I've been arguing for a couple of threads now that our influence system with Scirocco specifically has been disabled, ever since we got that message about our relationship changing permanently or however Copy phrased it. I don't expect to see our influence rise or fall with him again. That doesn't mean diplomacy with him is impossible (well, it might be now), just that the -5/+5 scores and associated effects can no longer be obtained.
>>
Scirocco is going to run off to Axis like a coward, try to groom Mineva, and get in on the S Rank Newtype Polycule™ over there.
>>
>>23803078
You're probably right. Part of me is coping, hoping we can get the triad of Kamille, Jerid, and Scirocco leading the Titans. All of them covering each others weaknesses and all that. Now let's hope that the New Desides are willing to play ball with their Military Junta once Kamille's forced conquer the moon.

Regarding Scirocco let's hope we can at least parlay with him. If we can't get him to go along with our plans or join us, maybe we can just get him to give up and leave? Because killing Scirocco would just lead to Sarah going catatonic and Sydle hating us.
>>
>>23803303
>hoping we can get the triad of Kamille, Jerid, and Scirocco leading the Titans
would've been nice to have a nice Triumvirate. But Scirocco is hard to tard wrangle.
>>
>>23803104

Considering how emotionally pathetic Amuro Char and Scirocco have been I am worried how Haman is going to be acting.
>>
>>23803303
It's gonna be really hard to tardwrangle Scirocco enough to convince him to join us. Very hard, but not impossible at this point. He's clearly willing to reason with us enough to try to warn us about Axis even when he's seething for being genuinely exposed for the first time, so he still holds Kamille in some regard. Another problem is that Jerid fucking hates Syrupman, we'd essentially have to tardwrangle these two retards into playing nice.
>>
>>23803305
>>23803314
You know when this run began I was really expecting Kamille having to deal with being turned into a living weapon against his will. Dealing with Titans leadership making him do things he didn't wanna do. I didn't expect Kamille to fully go all in on the Titans and end up tard wrangling them into being an efficient fighting force and stopping infighting.
>>
>>23803303
Scirocco is just a power hungry motherfucker that would probably backstab us before we reached that endgame.
I'm hoping and coping that Fa is wrong about Jerid and we will be able to share leadership of whatever's left of the Titans in the end. It would be shit to have to kill him off when this is the best ally Jerid we've probably ever had in /m/ plays.
>>
>>23803387
Even better than Supreme Uncle Jerid from Gumdom's Titans Amuro run?
>>
>>23803387
If Kamille ever ends up having to kill Jerid to survive he and this thread is absolutely going to be distraught. Teaming up with Jerid and setting him on the right path is literally representative of getting on the right track and honoring Lila's wishes. That all being for nothing would destroy Kamille as he is now. Pic related.

>Kilimanjaro Officer 3: Better a living Deserter than a corpse to the pile that thing is making outside-

Tunneling its way into the inner bowels of the now tattered Kilimanjaro fortress, the Prototype Psycho Gundam releases a deafening hiss from its frame, with the Burstliner welded to its arm readying for another shot. Having learned the truth of Reccoa being forced into the heinous Mobile Suits cockpit, Roberto's Dijeh attempts to stop her psychotic rampage.

>Roberto: The base is completely crushed! Reccoa, stop! If you fire at that range, you'll be caught in the blast as well! Reccoa-

The center of Kilimanjaro explodes as Reccoa fires a point-blank shot into the fortress, annihilating her own allies and the Titans forces in the immediate vicinity. His Dijeh now catastrophically damaged, Roberto reaches for his left arm, finding it warped into the melted frame of his Mobile Suit. Slumping out from the burning debris around him, a single Hizack raises its heat hawk for his cockpit.

>Titan Pilot: Z-Zeon scum!
>Roberto: Azul Stel...damn you to hell-

With a swinging of the heat hawk, Roberto's life is brought to an end.

[Roberto has died. Darota has died.]

>>

Until she crashes out and dies. If the Psycho Gundam doesn't interfere, that is.
>>
>>23803859

Having lost his loyalist in the destruction caused by Reccoa's rampage and with his personal shuttle annihilated, the Supreme Commander of the Titans finds himself with only Beltorchika at his side as he limps for an emergency bunker in the deepest layer of the base.

>Jamitov: That Mobile Suit...was I betrayed? Murasame's research was supposed to have been-
>Beltorchika: Just what happens next?
>Jamitov: We survive...until Bask's forces can arrive to settle this. This army played a strong hand...but I will not die. Not today-

*BANG*

A bullet rips through Jamitov's chest, with Beltorchika quivering from her split-decision to finally act against the delusional leader of the Titans. Reaching for the freshly torn hole in his chest, Jamitov loses his balance as he collapses to the ground. Losing her grip on the handgun she had taken from one of the dead in the base, Beltorchika begins to scream towards the dying Elder.

>Beltorchika: How many lives have you ruined?! How many more would you have condemned to death had you been allowed to survive?!
>Jamitov:...Why? How...?! Without me...the world will be-
>Beltorchika: You are wrong! You have always been completely wrong! You stole so many lives, and allowed men as evil and depraved as the Zabi's to take power! You...deserved all of this! You deserve a death far worse than-

An overwhelming pain strikes Beltorchika's head, causing her to tumble onto her back.

>Beltorchika: A-ah...! It...is coming here...!! T-the monster-

The ceiling above Jamitov and Beltorchika begins to be parted, with a flag on the wall falling to envelop Beltorchika's body. Unable to move, Jamitov is faced with the martially melted head of the Prototype Psycho Gundam, its exposed eye camera's shifting towards the covered Beltorchika.

>Jamitov: Who...is in that cockpit...?! That...girl that-

The hulking Mobile Suit's camera's lock back onto Jamitov, with its functioning hand taking hold of his dying body.
>>
>>23803859
NO! Darota who will remember Garma now?
>>
>>23803900

>Reccoa?: [IT WAS YOU]
>Jamitov: W-where is that voice coming from...?! Why is it-

As Jamitov's body is moved closer to the partially melted cockpit of the Prototype Psycho Gundam, his mind is flooded by the suffering of those he had condoned to a hellish fate beyond a simple death. Of the thousands of youth's sacrificed on the altar of his desire for "Newtypes." In that moment...Jamitov had felt the fear of something far beyond the realm of humanity. The head-cockpit of the Prototype Psycho Gundam begins to unlock, molten metal dripping into the shape of sharpened teeth as he is made to look upon the now fully demented and chemically enslaved Reccoa Londe.

>Jamitov: It...was necessary-

*CRUNCH*

[Jamitov has died]

Closing the cockpit onto Jamitov's body, Reccoa feels her body being filled with a incomprehensible ecstasy. One strong enough to offset the unfathomable agony of her degenerating organs. Pulling itself out from the ruins of the fortress, the Prototype Psycho Gundam stands completely idle even as the remnants of the Titans and Karaba continue to engage one another.

>Reccoa?: I have...the power now...!! The power to never...be used by a man ever again!! Amuro...! Char...! And...Kamille...!! I will strip them of their humanity...just as they would have done to me!! Wrrrryyyy!!!

Just as Doan's Dom destroys a retaliating Hizack, the sight of the rampaging machine Azul had claimed to be a final resort leaves the Ex-Zeon disillusioned yet again.

>Doan: (Just what are we even fighting for at this point?)

I find it rather funny that Amuro somehow convinced Doan to come out of retirement, enlist him into his super sekrit special force with the sole purpose of stopping the Titans, then proceeds to escalate the everloving shit out of the war to the point of arguably doing even worse shit than the Titans. Doan must be really wishing he had just stayed home right about now.

Everything seems to be going pretty good, Jamitov was being pretty delusional so he won't be missed. Their will probably be a big event after we Seize Granada. Wonder how many ways the titans will fracture currently seems to be Bask, Kamille, Brave, and Scirocco so far.
>>
>>23805360
Jamitov dying basically means there is no single organisation of "the Titans" any more. You might argue this has been true in practice for a long time already though.
It also means, every man for himself. I don't expect any more factions besides the four you stated, Mike might try to coup Brave though. If we get Yazan on our side we are in a good position imo.
Even if we take Granada without many losses, we are in a really desperate position against Axis. I don't know how much Scirocco can really do to resist them, he seemed to think something bad was going to happen when we take Granada, that is likely related to Axis.
>>
>>23805341
Bet you kept quiet when Leila and Four does it
>>
>>23805360
Kamille and Jerid helped the New Desides take Pezun, and that group of Titans even offered a place among their forces for their attack on the Senate. Meaning they must like Jerid and Kamille a little bit so hopefully we can regroup with them later.
>>23805386
>he seemed to think something bad was going to happen when we take Granada, that is likely related to Axis.
Axis most definitely has the same plan we do for Granada. They want to use it's factories to construct vast armies of weapons and ships to conquer the Earth Sphere. If the factories of Granada are preemptively taken from them, Axis will likely be forced to attack immediately to either take the moon or take other unguarded territories.
>>
>>23805429
>Meaning they must like Jerid and Kamille a little bit so hopefully we can regroup with them later.
Josh just needs corrections from Bask first.
>>
>>23805386
If we can convince Yazan to give him the mother of all fights (which is true since we'll be fighting Axis and whatever the fuck Amuro and Bask/Robin are cooking) then I think we're in a good spot in terms of aces. If we can also keep the Xeku line then we're also good in terms of suits, if not then the nu Barzam is also a pretty solid alternative. We just need to protect Granada's factories and we'll be a formidable force in no time. Axis will not take this shit lying down so we've got a hard fight ahead of us in the near future.
>>
>>23805522
Yazan is already charging to join us in fighting at Grenada due to Jerid's speech he's basically already on our side unless someone bribes him or we bungle our introductions after the battle.
>>
>>23805522
Other anons theorised that by basically ditching the Pezun guys, we do not have production blueprints of Xekus. Hopefully, the Bardam tech is just about done by the time we take Granada's factories, because we really really need a good army pronto if Axis is going to make a beeline for the moon.
Again, if Haman does the canon thing and tries to crash Axis into the moon, we probably can't do anything about it. It's just so risky to try and seize the colony laser, leaving Granada undefended against a conventional assault.
>>
>>23805993
Haman isn't even in charge of Axis, they seemingly sent Mashy to handle things this time
>>
>>23805993
It was said in earlier threads that Titans had the ability to produce Xekus now. So I don't think there was just a limited production run of them, any base should be able to make them. So Xekus are probably gonna be the first thing Jerid wants to make once we seize Granada's factories.

On a related note I hope there's a bunch of MS and ship schematics we can take once we destroy AEUG. Our Alexandria ships are nice and all, but Argama class ships would be useful. Same goes for Nemo II or perhaps even Nemo III schematics. Having a long range grunt unit for screening and support would be wonderful. And you just know AEUG already has a bunch of technology set up for Axis right now as well. It wouldn't be surprising at all to see Axis using Schuzrun Dias and Rick Dias II's once they arrive in force.

Since the beginning of the riots born from Azul's leak of confidential information on members of the Senate, Dakar has been placed onto a seemingly perpetual State of Emergency, with much of the Senate's members who chose to remain in the city being kept under extensive protection from vigilante's and Anti-Federation extremist. Even the Titans, who had been granted all but absolute authority over the Federation Forces, are kept from directly entering the city due to security concerns of their lingering presence instigating further violence. Utilizing their contacts from Luio and Company's controlled assets in the Senate, Quattro Bajeena is discreetly delivered to the outskirts of the city, where he is prepared to speak before the Federation Senate as they convene.

>Qum:...Hey, mister? Is your name "Quattro" or "Casval"? It is getting really confusing...
>Shinta: He obviously has a secret identity he is keeping up, dummy!
>Quattro: Honestly, I am having trouble keeping up with it myself. To the AEUG, I am Quattro Bajeena. Apparently that isn't enough any longer though...

Qum shuffles next to Quattro, giving the fingers on his left hand a squeeze.

>Qum: Can we go for kebabs after this? Papa used to take us to a really yummy one in the market district for our birthdays!
>Shinta: Yeah! They are the best!
>Quattro:...I am terrified. So terrified...I am barely keeping it together. When I heard her voice after so long, it gave me purpose...and yet, I brought you both back to the place you lost your father. I was supposed to take you both back to space, just as Lalah wanted...and yet, I am being asked to play the clown. To shackle myself to a birthright that is...empty to me.

Shinta and Qum both look to one another, nervous and confused as the grown man who protected them in the previous weeks now lays his weaknesses out before them meekly.

>Shinta:...Lets just go to space then, Mister Quattro! After we get those kebabs!
>>
>>23808381

>Quattro: Once all of this is over, I intend to-
>Qum: You shouldn't let yourself be bullied! That "Amuro" guy...we won't let him hurt you again!
>Quattro: You both...!

Kneeling down to pull both children into a hug, Quattro winces at the sight of Azul standing outside of his shuttles private cabin, his eyes darkened and shrouded with immense stress.

>Azul: Is this really the time, Char? Can it not wait until after you have spoken?

Irked by Azul's presence dampening the mood even further, Qum sticks her tongue out at him.

>Qum: Bleh! Stop being so mean to him, you jerk! Every time you come around, he is always so sad!
>Shinta: If you plan to hit him again, you'll have to go through-
>Azul: Get up, Char. Now!

Quattro pulls back from the two children, slowly standing as he meets his long time comrades gaze. While unable to discern the exact sensation he is reading from Azul, Quattro feels a pit in his gut as he feels the lingering guilt and anger enshrouding him.

>Quattro:...If this fails, just what are you going to do? You can't keep going as you are-
>Azul: It won't fail. When you do this, it will all have had meaning. The Federation will survive long enough to check Zeon...everything will finally be able to restart. We owe that to humanity, Char. We owe it those who lost their lives in the AEUG...we owe it to Reccoa-
>Quattro: Reccoa? She-
>Azul: We owe it...to *ALL* of them, Char! So just do this...you need to-

Connecting with Azul's thoughts completely in that brief moment, Quattro is genuinely unnerved as he feels the full weight of the madness consuming Lalah's killer.

>Quattro:...What have you done?
>Azul: Blame yourself. If you would have just stood alongside me from the start, so many could have been spared from-

As Quattro steps forward to swing at Azul, he feels a cold sweat coming over him as Azul looks down to Shinta and Qum.

>Quattro: Amuro, you wouldn't-
>Azul: It is time, Char...or rather, "Casval Rem Deikun".
>>
>>23808401

>Federation Senator 1: Rhomsheen and Bronze didn't make it?
>Federation Senator 2: They are both likely hunkering down. The riots in Oslo are far worse than what the media have been letting on, so I doubt they are taking any chances with trying to get a shuttle here. It is the perfect chance for H'colom to try and bolster some votes.
>Federation Senator 3: So, we are in agreement to pull Welfare from where these insurrections began? Makes no sense for us to feed those ungrateful ingrates if they refuse to abide by-
>Federation Senator 4: There are other ways they can be stifled. So long as the masses remain fed, they will remain silent when the crackdowns are ready to begin.
>Adenauer: Senator Silver, the NexMax station just reported Minister Mongrath was found dead in his home.
>Federation Senator 5: Prepare a statement. This could be your lucky break, Adenauer Paraya...

Utilizing a network of bribes and political favors, Quattro is slipped into Dakar without being hassled by the Federation security guarding the city.

>Azul: Make sure all of the communication dishes remain undamaged. If the Titans try to attack them, at the very make sure they are recorded destroying them.

Ending the call to the armed forces waiting for Quattro's speech to begin, Azul places his hand onto Quattro's shoulder to try and calm him.

>Azul: You can do this. Even if you miss a few details in that script, even if you have improvise, this is going to work.

Azul's grip tightens, as if silently asserting himself over the son of Zeon Deikun. Meanwhile on the outskirts of Dakar, Karaba remnants detect dozens of Mobile Suit signals massing from the desert.

>Karaba Soldier 1: They aren't Titan signals...are they coming from Kilimanjaro?
>Karaba Soldier 2: Not any of our boys. What are those...? Doms, and Zakus?
>>
>>23808401
Amuro trying to get to Haman's DDs by Doubling Down on awful decisions.
>>
>>23808432
>Azul's grip tightens, as if silently asserting himself over the son of Zeon Deikun. Meanwhile on the outskirts of Dakar, Karaba remnants detect dozens of Mobile Suit signals massing from the desert.
So we got Amuro's Karaba army, the African Liberation Front showing up early, Bask's horde of Titans poised to attack, and finally the New Desides will be airdropping in to kill the Senate.

The battle for Dakar and the battle for Granada are going to be absolute insanity. I full expect mass casualties on all sides.
>>
>>23808432

>Dakar Speaker: -In absence of thirty-two seats, the vote for extending the Westlaw Relief initiative in Ireland will be postponed until-
>Karaba Officer: Everyone, remain seated and stay calm! Lieutenant, the stage is yours!
>Azul: You've got this, Char.

As Quattro slowly approaches the center podium facing the attending Senators, the Security guards guarding the upper levels ready their weapons, only to find themselves being drawn on by Senators sympathetic to the AEUG and Karaba's cause.

>Dakar Security: Y-you...!
>Senator 1: They mean no harm to us, so stand down.
>Senator 2: This is an outrage! What is the meaning for this?!
>Senator 3: Quiet, let the man speak!

Azul's hand twitches as he waits for Quattro to begin speaking, his every sense heightened with anxiety. Only once "Casval" had spoken with Azul's written words could humanity be given the chance to save itself from itself...and yet, Quattro did not speak. Seconds would pass, with him just staring blankly towards the Senators.

>Azul: (What the hell are you doing? Talk! Damn you, talk!!)
>Karaba Officer: Sir, additional forces have just mobilized for Dakar. Federation Security was skiddish, but they are allowing them to pass-
>Azul: What are you talking about? The soldiers are Kilimanjaro couldn't have made it here already...tch, stay to the plan!
>Quattro:...To the Federation Senate and the citizens of Dakar, I must apologize for this interruption. I am Quattro Bajeena of the Anti Earth Union Group...I do however, go by a different name. I was also known as...as...
>Azul: (Why are you hesitating?! Don't do this to me! If we fail this, it is all over! Char, goddamn it, just talk-)

Quattro goes silent, his arms raising up towards the baffled and confused Senators. With a small nod, Quattro abandons the podium, sending the Senators into a state of mania as they immediately begin to bicker amongst one another.

>Azul: Damn you...! Damn you, Char!!!
>>
>>23808652
Quattro's going for a pack of cigs, he'll be right back in 5'

Emboldened by the heinous atrocities being carried out Bask Om's armies across the Earth, bands of Anti-Federation mercenary outfits and African Nationalist utilizing salvaged Zeon technology are rallied by private sponsors, with them gathering for a promised day of retribution against the Federation. Holding the highest level of authority and power amongst these gathered armies is the "African Liberation Front", a movement of African extremist set on not only the expulsion of the Federation from Africa, but a genocidal conquest against the "Children of the Franks".

>Gadeb: The Franks have left themselves bare for us, just as the Spaceborn said. Brothers, and those who have endured the humiliations brought about by the Infidels of the Federation, today will be the beginning of our long waited retribution! This vile monument to the wasteful, conceited greed and ignorance of the Whites who dared to infest our rightful lands! Those who called for Coexistence now lie buried beneath the sand, forgotten and forever tainted by their weakness! There will no longer be talks! The will no longer be concessions to these vermin! Take of their riches, their trophies, and even of their flesh! When this sinful monument is returned to the Desert, we shall visit our justified wrath upon the Franks across Europe, until we, those chosen by god, are left to inherit his world!

Having been outfitted by their Sponsors from space with upgraded weapons systems and performance enhancing drugs, the unified Coalition under the African Liberation Front mobilize against the Federation Capitol, with over a hundred Mobile Suits and combat craft taking aim to lay waste to the city and visit its population with their inhuman and devious desires. Meanwhile, Quattro attempts to make his escape from the Conference Center, with Azul giving chase after him. Just as Quattro reaches the entrance to the building to make his escape, he is rammed to the ground by Azul.
>>
>>23808679

>Azul: Do you have any idea what you have just done?! What you just threw away for all of us, Char?!
>Quattro:...You intend for both the Earth and Space to burn one another to the ground. For only scattered pockets of humanity to rebuild, isolated from one another. The look Lalah just gave me...I couldn't be the one to begin that. You can still go there and speak yourself to-

Azul grabs Quattro's throat, choking him out as the last of his restraint fades away from his now unbound rage. Grabbing for a shard of broken glass on the floor, Azul points it for Quattro's eyes.

>Azul: You want to rejoin Lalah so badly? I'll personally send you back to her, but only once you have served the only purpose you have ever had. You both may be able to accept that hellish future she showed me, but I will not accept it! I will not-
>Adenauer: Guards! The terrorist are here! Guards!!

Using the opening created by Adenauer, Quattro forces Azul away, sprinting for a jeep parked outside to escape. Before Azul can continue his pursuit, Adenauer locks down the buildings entrance, trapping Azul inside.

>Adenauer: Security, he is right here! Hurry and-

Digging his hand into the glass shard, Azul charges into Adenauer, ramming its sharpened edge into his stomach. Ripping the makeshift blade from Adenauer's gut, Azul proceeds to stab him again...and again, and again, and again. As Quattro arrives at the Jeep, he finds himself unable to drive it, with his phobia of operating a vehicle overcoming him.

>Karaba Soldier: Lieutenant, what was that?! Why happened in there?!
>Quattro: We need to leave!
>Karaba Soldier: What about the others?! We were told to-
>Quattro: Get me out of here!
>>
>>23808708
I can't believe it but the more I see of this Quattro the more I'm convinced he would side with literally anything that isn't Zeon if given a chance. Poor guy's just been Amuro's whipping boy ever since things started going poorly for the AEUG and its broken him.
>>
>>23808716
Let's not forget that he was VERY trigger happy when the run started, he gets no sympathy from me. Still, it's really interesting to see how he's the voice of reason this time around (or at least, his cowardice looks far more reasonable than whatever the fuck Amuro is doing right now)
>>
>>23808708
>You both may be able to accept that hellish future she showed me, but I will not accept it! I will not-
What did Amuro see that made him act this way? He's gone completely insane, becoming completely unstable in the pursuit of stopping something. That something being somehow worse than what he's doing now.
>>23808716
Char this run has been completely consumed by his patheticness and fearful qualities. That cool demeanor he masked it with has been obliterated, with this being the result.
>>
>>23808721
I don't think he's remotely in fighting shape right now, I'd never trust him in a mobile suit but as a man with plenty of information on how fucked Axis is along with what they're actually planning on doing that's more than worth any plea deal, he'd receive.
>>
Jesus Christ, Char and Amuro are really getting destroyed by the stress of this run. What a calamity. Quattro is so terrified he can't even drive a car, much less pilot a mobile suit in combat. As such >>23808716 I'm not sure he's in the right shape to fight for anyone. Worst case scenario, Amuro drugs him like he did Reccoa and uses him as a cyber puppet.
A hundred ALF mobile suits can probably take and hold Dakar, even if they are using OYW trash. I'm guessing they count as "Neo-Zeon" on the map. The Pezun gang just don't have enough firepower to take them all out, I think. We'll see.
This Amuro absolutely has to die. He's like if canon Rosamia was constantly in her killer personality, but more extreme. Using his visions to justify doing absolutely anything. Char could do worse than just trying to disappear from society entirely, go underground.
I think we made the right call not to get involved here. What a shitshow.
>>
>>23808788
If the pezun gang is able to secure power lines then they'll be fine by virtue of range
Upgraded oyw can only go so far vs xeku
>>
>>23808716
He can have a plea deal and become Buddha in a jail cell. We just need information on how badly things have gone.
>>23808721
Char having a new phobia of driving a simple car when he's supposed to be a pilot speaks to something rotten going down at Axis. The sheer audacity at Green Noa might have been to mask a panic attack. Lila also took a peek at Amuro's cards and started haunting us in a bid to stop it. We have bigger fish to fry than Char.
>>
>>23808708
>...You intend for both the Earth and Space to burn one another to the ground. For only scattered pockets of humanity to rebuild, isolated from one another. The look Lalah just gave me...I couldn't be the one to begin that. You can still go there and speak yourself to-
That actually is a good point. Why is Amuro such a bitch that he can't deliver the speech and needs Char to hold the bag?
>>
>>23809028
Because he needs Zeon to rally around Char instead of Mineva. He's using Char as a puppet the same way Mineva is being used. Its like poetry, it rhymes.
>>
I also love the idea that Char is talking all this shit about Lalah and Lalah's vision while Amuro is also potentially throwing his life away all over some Newtype snatch. Its called a character foil or some shit I don't know. The point is stay away from them space MILFS.
>>
I also want to add that Amuro committing war crimes all for the chocha is 100% in character don't even argue with me about this one.
>>
>>23809067
Pretty sure him posing as a wounded civilian that time when he shot that Zeon soldier with a handgun is technically a war crime
>>
If you can't join Hamas for me at your worst, then you don't deserve me at my best~
>>
>>23809028
See Haman promised that he could suck her toes later as long as he made Char look like the biggest cuck imaginable.
>>
>>23808788
Part of me still wishes we had Kamille's forces join with the New Desides in killing the Senate. Kamille and Jerid could've killed hundreds of ALF savages, then put Char and Amuro out of their misery. The later two being the people Kamille actually wants to get revenge against. And Amuro being the person Lila wants him to stop.

Seeing Amuro crash out that AEUG lost the moon will be hilarious though.
>>
>>23809162
I give it good odds that Char would have completed the speech because we would have been there to try and halt it.
>Even the Titans, who had been granted all but absolute authority over the Federation Forces, are kept from directly entering the city due to security concerns of their lingering presence instigating further violence.
We would have burst in to interrupt the speech rather than stick to killing ALF or worse, save Jamitov like a moron. This might actually be better for us.
>>
>>23809085

So are we all in agreement to cuck Amuro and tame Haman with Kamille? It would be the ultimate revenge.
>>
>>23809259
The New Desides haven't even begun their attack yet, so I don't think this could've been changed. Unless we had the option to rush the attack on Dakar or go save Jamitov.
>>
>>23809259
>>23808788
So we have here that Amuro's been trying to run around and convince the world that the sky is falling and that his solution is the only solution, while we keep either accidently proving him wrong about how bad things are, and when we do confront him, we whoop his ass anyways.
We're doing a double combo of "if we don't get involved, we win, if we do get involved, we win" and i think that's been driving him insane.
>>
>>23809314
If I know Copy X and /m/, we would have had choices between "hold position", "hit the Senate", or "reinforce Jamitov". We probably would have went for the bait and choose either 2 or 3. Jerid would have pushed for 2, so we would have hit 2 and have the Feds rebel further against us.

I can't wait for Bask to have a little meet and greet with the ALF. Will game recognize game?

While Dakar finds itself under a relentless assault, the Remnants of Zeon that had followed under the self appointed General Darota are assaulted in a surprise attack by an identified attack force. Easily overwhelmed due to their lack of Mobile Suits and combat ready forces, the remnant force are intentionally spared from death as two abnormally shaped Mobile Suits tower over their ruined bunker.

>Gates: Magnificently done, dear sister. Not even a single error while handling the Bound Doc...just simply fantastic!
>Kikka: Hehe~! Mister Loren owes us both that pizza party now!
>Gates: I'll make sure he honors it. I do wish they still had some Mobile Suits to defend themselves with. It really was just far to easy for us...superior pilots. Wouldn't you agree, dear-

Gates clutches at his head as his mental connection to Kikka wavers, interfering with his control over his Bound Doc.

>Gates: Is something wrong? Is it your stomach, or-

Kikka's Bound Doc rapidly shifts its position to all-fours, with her unlocking her cockpit to spin to the ground below.

>Gates: Kikka, where are you going?!

Battered, beaten and only being kept on his feet by the Titan Officers lugging him out from the damaged bunker, Katz weakly raises his head at the sound of Kikka's approach.

>Katz: I-it couldn't be-
>Kikka: Katz~!

Jumping into Katz, Kikka excitedly rubs her face against her adopted brothers, her ecstasy generating implants partially overdosing her nervous system from her genuine joy.

>Katz:...Kikka? Oh, Kikka...is that really you...?!
>Gates: Ngh...! Kikka, stop! Have you gone mad with-
>Loren transmission: What a stroke of wonderful luck. Commander Cappa, retrieve that boy.
>Gates: Is that really necessary?
>Loren transmission: Are you jealous? Not to worry, my friend. I just want to verify a little theory.

With the Titans splintered as they are we're definitely getting a full blown civil war in the Federation soon. Bask is completely unrestrained, the New Desides are going to kill the Senate, while Kamille and the Titans space forces are going to obliterate AEUG. Unless Axis arrives and starts blitzing towards Earth, all these separate groups are gonna end up fighting.
>>
>>23809843
Rethink that over for a second. Bask decided to abandon jamitov, So the desides getting rid of Senate aligns with removing the old guard. If anything this really has more setup a space and earth divide, which actually works in our favor of not having to worry about the latter.
Truly it is just continuing to tard wrangle jerid so he doesn't ruin this with his over zealous desires. Tosh/Brave & uncle Om's interactions will be a key. Also axis has begun their battle with the ALF showing
Then pap confirming that taking the moon will bring them out more as well
What really matters is actually having the forces for this all between xekus&bardam
>>
>>23809893
Bask will dismiss New Desides as spacenoid scum and shoot them on sight. He won't be pragmatic about this.
I think Earth is frankly going to be a shitshow. As long as it's not just getting taken over by Axis with ease we should leave it alone, if things go to shit on the moon we can retreat to Earth and even try to go underground if necessary

Floating amongst the derelict remains of an AEUG patrol fleet, Yazan's Marasai twitches from how heavily its servo's and internal systems are pushed.

>Yazan: Oi, you made sure to let that shuttle slip away?
>GM Quel pilot: As you ordered, sir!
>Yazan: Hehe...I want the AEUG on full alert when we arrive at the Moon. You boys aren't getting an easy fight today, no way! All of you are going to earn this victory, clawing and mauling as you need to!
>Titan Officer: Colonel Gable, we just received reports that a scout unit that had been operating outside of Zedan's airspace vanished...or rather, that they were ambushed.
>Yazan: AEUG finally decided to try their luck swinging at us while we were away?
>Titan Officer: We don't believe this is AEUG, sir. It has been approaching the Earth's Sphere for some time now, but it only just came into proper detection range from Konpei and Zedan. Here...

As Yazan receives a blurred image of a gargantuan asteroid structure, he begins to chuckle to himself in excitement.

>Yazan: Patch me through to fleet! Alright you lot, there has been a change of plans! We are still going to crack the Moon wide open, but save some room for an even bigger meal! Those of you who survive here will be treated to a battle worthy of the ones we had in the One Year War! Nothing better than ripping and tearing your way through a Zeeks asteroid nest! No hesitation, no weakness, no mercy!

On the outskirts of Zedan, a crippled GM Kai hides behind a broken meteoroid, its pilot desperately sending S.O.S signals.

>Titan pilot: (Why me?! This whole route was supposed to empty! Damn it, this isn't fair-)

Without warning, the GM Kai is rammed out from its hidden position, sending it spiraling out of control. At blinding speeds, a red streak rips through his Mobile Suits lower half.

>Titan Pilot: T-the...!

Pushing itself from a piece of debris, a red colored Action Zaku kicks towards his ruined GM Kai.

>Titan Pilot: The Red Comet!!

>Unaware of the arrival of a new, undisclosed threat, the Black Devil squadron is joined by numerous sympathizers arriving from Side 2, along with willing recruits from those who had managed to survive the purges in Von Braun. Making his return from Von Braun City, Jerid Messa quickly becomes aware of Scirocco's outburst against Kamille and Sarah.

>Jerid: For a guy who got his ass beat by us, he sure can talk a lot of crap when he has some distance. Either way, he's earned himself another round of it-
>Kamille: What would that even prove?
>Jerid: That he is a propped up pansy that can talk a lot better than he can walk. Four could use something to get her back on track as well. Seriously, don't let him get you. He means nothing. >Sarah:...I understand. Thank you for the conformation.

Jerid slams his knuckle against Kamille's, before leaping back to join a group of Von Braun volunteers being trained for turret operation onboard the Alexandria. Still unsure of Sarah's state of mind, Kamille gives chase to speak with her.

>Kamille: Sarah. Sarah!

Before Kamille is able to catch up her, he is stopped as Four slips out from a corner to cut him off.

>Kamille: Four? L-listen, I need to-
>Four: After the battle.
>Kamille: What?
>Four: I felt it all. How you both felt...it was awful.
>Kamille: Then you know that Sarah isn't in the right state of mind to-
>Four: Shhh. We already talked. When this fight is over, we can all be honest with each other. Until then though, please don't confuse her.
>Kamille: Confuse her? I just want to make sure she will be fine out there! What Scirocco said to her was...it was awful! The worst thing someone could say to another!
>Four: I know. You both are hurt. The kind of hurt that will make you both try to fill that pain immediately. Please, just let her work through this on her own, until this fight is over.
>Kamille: Four...!
>Sydle: Commander Bidan.

Having been so lost in his conversation, Kamille is caught off guard to find Sydle shuffling awkwardly behind them both.

>Kamille: What is it?
>Sydle: I need to discuss something with you. Privately...
>Kamille:...Did Scirocco send you? If so-
>Four: If you want a fight, we can spar right now.
>Sydle: Please don't talk to me, you fight freak.
>Kamille: Hey!
>Sydle: You are the only one I can talk to about this, Commander. So-

Four's hand collides against Sydle's cheek, causing the young Officer to stumble back as she clutches her cheek.

>Sydle: You...bitch!
>Kamille: Enough of this, both of you!

Sydle sprints out from the corridor, clutching her throbbing cheek.

I at least wanted to know what Sydle wanted to say...

Is...is Haman in Char's Zaku role playing as him? No. No way. No fucking way.
>>
>>23810341

>Kamille: You didn't have to hit her! Let it go!
>Four: Something is very wrong with her. The kind of wrong that is going to put all of us in danger. Let me fix her-
>Kamille: Hitting someone isn't the best solution for everything, Four! If Scirocco told her about what happened, isn't it better that I try to explain what really happened?
>Four:...I don't think she cares to hear words. I don't even think she has heard that mans voice for some time.

Four grabs the back of Kamille's palm, giving it a squeeze.

We have to do that. Kamille is way to high strung to deal with all this womanly bullshit right now. Let's get him a drink with his bro so he can relax.

to be honest I'm either for napping, part of me doesn't think Four can truly 'fix' Sydle like she did Sarah though but I guess if Kamille goes there he might 'replace' scirocco for her

Are you niggers determined to turn Kamille into an alcoholic and the worst kind of dysfunctional adult? just like Franklin and Jerid. Worst of all, he'll won't stop calling others out, even though he's just as blameworthy himself.
>>
>>23810444
This is why I said Four is the best choice, my only second is Sydle's just out of pure curiosity, but my vote is trust Four
>>
>>23810389
All the women on the Alexandria are acting crazy. Seeing any one of them would just cause more drama and bullshit. Seeing Sarah or Sydle will probably just cause either of them to throw their bodies at Kamille for love and attention. Especially Sarah since her ideal world is to be doted on by Scirocco and Kamille. Resting letting Four do what she wants could end badly, even if her actions are purely out of the goodness in her heart Four's definitely channeling Kamilles unconscious thoughts. Spreading that to Sydle could complicate things.
>>23810444
Kamille deserves a little recreation. He's been the main planner and architect of the operation to take over the moon. So he deserves something more than sleep. Drinking with Jerid also gives Kamille a chance to talk with him. Remember Fa said something about Jeris thinking he'd have to struggle with Kamille for leadership. Talking with Jerid now about it now and getting it out of the way could solve many future problems.
>>
>>23810479
That’s exactly why we need Kamille to be in top form, not nursing a hangover and certainly not unconscious out at the worst possible moment we can imagine.
Once the AEUG is over, let’s go out for a few drinks to celebrate that Kamille’s parents and Lila have been finally avenged. This will mean more than merely coping with anxiety before a major operation..
>>
>>23810490
We're not going to have time for celebrations after destroying the AEUG at Granada and taking the moon. Axis has literally just arrived and they will not be happy that the group they were trying to cut a deal with was destroyed. If we're gonna talk with Jerid or spend any time with all at him it needs to be done now.

From a pragmatic point of view, Kamile needs to be mentally ready, he hasn't drunk before and I don't think we need to gamble on if he can hold his alcohol or not, also even if he does go and drink Four will still 'talk' to Sydle, the only way that doesn't happen is likely if Kamille goes confront Sydle himself
>>
>>23810499
What makes you think that? If it always took us days to reach Axis, we would probably besiege the asteroid fortress first. If not Granada, then we could find the best place for this at the Titans’ base on Zedan.
>>
>>23810502
>From a pragmatic point of view
Have you forgotten what's happened this campaign!? THIS IS THE ANTI-PRAGMATIC CAMPAIGN!!!

This is not the run where we think out all of our plans, marking down every little detail. When we tried that Kamille suffered greatly becoming dehumanized, getting sent to Earth, being manipulated by newtype ghosts. Every good choice this run came from just doing things we wanted to do, not worrying over getting everything right. Like destroying Karaba's supplies for AEUG in California, beating the shit of Jerid which led to him forgiving Kamille, or showing up Scirocco multiple times.

We do not need to worry about being pragmatic! ALL WE NEED TO DO IS ACT!!!
>>
>>23810341
That really wasn't necessary, Four, even if Sydle disrespected you.
>>
>>23810397
>some mindbroken Char LARPer in the battle.
That's not Char, that's Johnny Ridden.
>>
>>23810490
>>23810502

Not sure why ya'll are acting like he's going to get sloshed. It's a one on one drink with Jerid specifically and an opportunity to have a man to man talk that didn't require fists for once. It's a good opportunity and I'd rather not just go to bed when we can get easy character development between the two.

There's lots of them to really talk about. Lila, Kakricon, what Kamille did on Earth, what happened at Ayers, what they'll do once Granada is captured. Heck, it might actually let Kamille be seen as a person among the regulars as well instead of it being solely Jerid who's idolized and driving the Lunar forces.
>>
>>23810505
Axis is already moving to attack Zedan. After they conquer it they'll be looking at Side 3 and the moon next. So even if Kamille's forces aren't immediately attacked by Axis afterwards, they still need to build themselves up and prepare for it.
>>
>>23810513
>Not sure why ya'll are acting like he's going to get sloshed.
We don't know what they're going to do, hence why people act cautious.
>>

>>
>>23810502
Kamille's like what 15? He could drink like a fish and still won't get a hang over at that age your practically indestructible when it comes to alcohol. The biggest concern is if he's really having an influence over everyone else he's going to get all the girls on the ship to start drunk fighting each other instead of letting Four work her plan.

It's been quite a lot of posts, so I will remind everyone where Sarah was at last time we saw her do anything.
>Sarah slumps to the floor, clutching her knees as she rocks herself.
And this is after we specifically chose a battle-hardened personality for Sarah this run. I really do not think she is currently combat effective.
Drinks with Jerid sounds awesome. I might even vote for it if I was sure Kamille would just have one or two cans of beer and talk with Jerid. But the undeniable possibility that he gets roped into some sort of drinking challenge and gets shitfaced a few hours before the most important battle of the run so far is... hard to overlook.
It WILL be kino so I don't blame anyone who votes for it, but I can't do it.
Sydle probably needs our intervention the most, but is also the least important member of the squad. You might consider it Kamille being a good leader if he looks after someone who is basically alone here and has actively sought Kamille out. There's always a chance that what Sydle has to say is actually important - maybe some info about Axis? But it could be some irrelevant bullshit as well. Picking Sydle probably loses us a Four point as well. I don't think it's going to be a popular choice even though I have a sneaking feeling it's the best one we have.
Man, these decisions are agonising. Copy, you are truly devious in creating these opportunity costs for us.
>>
>>23810509
Bullshit, choosing to bond with Leila was the retarded option all along, one that would have nefarious consequences. Instead of making the pragmatic choice to motivate her and promise that no one would hurt her, the 'waifufags' ruined the vote.

By following Jamitov for a while, we gained rank and managed to recruit Leila and Four, which ultimately motivated Jerid to follow in our footsteps and achieve the same thing. Leaving Earth after the incident with Bask was also a pragmatic choice to ensure our safety, which all we wanted to do anyway. Resolving matters with Jerid in the only way he would understand was also wise.

>>23810515
Take a look at the map >>23810308 Zedan is perfectly able to hold out without us for a while, and Yazan has already redirected troops to reinforce them. In my opinion, Axis is making a risky, last-minute decision to salvage whatever they can from the AEUG. They will gain nothing from it.
>>
>>23810509
>When we tried that Kamille suffered greatly becoming dehumanized, getting sent to Earth, being manipulated by newtype ghost
the choices that resulted from these weren't pragmatic votes btw it was kamille lashing out votes and him seeking comfort with Leila
>>
>>23810351
I say fuck it, let's go drink with our new bro before the battle

>>23810530
I still remember a handful of posters that went "wait comfort Leila was the sex option? oops!"
As if they haven't played Katawa Shoujo or seen the memes, which could be the case considering how old this website is now.
>>
>>23810536
It could be a age thing, which is why people think punching Jerid COULDN'T be pragmatic(except it was, Kamille had already exhausted all friendly options, the only thing he hadn't done to get Jerid under control was violence)
>>
>>23810536

At the very least Leila was older than Kamille and in the moment it was two near adults agreeing to that. Anyone voting for this Sarah option is pining for a mentally unstable 14 year old.
>>
>>23810527
>Bullshit, choosing to bond with Leila was the retarded option all along, one that would have nefarious consequences.
Yea and we dealt with it! When the newtype ghosts possessing Leila revealed themselves Kamille completely and utterly denied them. Destroying every biosensor they could manifest through, freeing Leila from their grasp, and stopping Scirocco from collecting the biosensor salvage.

None of that could've been done if we voted to have Kamilla be pragmatic and try to parlay or delay with those forces. Instead Kamille purely acted on his own desires and obliterated a threat that could hurt him and his allies down the line. He did what he wanted when he wanted. That's something we should aim to do with every vote. Of course be mindful and think about future consequences, not falling into traps or creating uneseccary enemies.

My point is we just need to vote for what we want to do and not fret over every issue. Worrying about being pragmatic. Me and others want to see Kamille spend time with Jerid, so we're voting for them to share a drink together. It'll be good experience for them to spend quality time together and talk. If it causes problems later down the line we'll deal with them as they come. This mindset should be applied to future decisions as well. In the words of the late General Patton "a good plan, violently executed now, is better than a perfect plan next week."
>>
>>23810552
?
It is absolutely pragmatic to be realistic and destroy the device, it WOULDNT have been pragmatic to try and negotiate with the ghosts or scirocco, do you actually know what being pragmatic means?
>>
>>23810552
Had we been as pragmatic as we had been up to that point, Kamille would never have become a beacon for those ghosts, and in fact we might have had a functional biosensor that would have put us ahead of everyone else, without suffering any adverse effects from connecting to the Warp.
We really messed with Kamille's ability to function as a Newtype. You people might disagree with me, but I'm sure it wouldn't have affected Scirocco at all because he isn't infected. We made an enemy for ourselves by not trusting him to handle it, so no.
>>
>>23810516

I think there's a difference between being cautious and letting the fear of the unknown conjure up the worst possible scenario. In any case, I think either going drinking or relaxing solo are fine options. Though I do think the latter might lead to a talk with Leila and possibly Fa.
>>
>>23810559
There where people arguing that the spirits should've been appeased then dealt with later. As denying them then would anger them, which well it did if Reccoa is anything to go by. Similar thing happened when dealing with Bask after California. If we were purely worried about about the effects of angering Bask and went about it in a business like manner, which is what I mean by pragmatics, then we wouldn't have voted to use the nerve pinch on Bask. We didn't care about the consequences of what happened afterwards, just what we wanted which was stopping Bask from killing people. Again same thing happened with Jerid when we first went to Von Braun and ended up fighting. We wanted to get through to Jerid and we voted to do so, not really caring it would horribly injur both Kamille and Jerid severely delaying our attack on Granada.

The entire point I'm trying to get across through all this text is that we collectively shouldn't worry too much about the negative consequences for Kamille's actions. We should not be afraid to just do things and get what we want.
For the [Go Drink with Jerid] choice people shouldn't focus on Kamille potentially getting drunk with Jerid, but instead on him connecting with Jerid further. If Kamille has a hangover or can't handle how alcohol that's okay, we will deal with the problem as it happens.

Already overburdened with the numerous incidents that had occurred over the past days, Kamille decides to finally take a moment to properly rest.

>Kamille: Just promise me you will be reasonable about this, ok? Can you do that, Four?

Four gives a small nod, her grip tightening slightly on Kamille's knuckle. Leaving Four to her own devices, Kamille makes his way to the recreational area of the ship, where many of the Von Braun volunteers mingle and drink amongst one another.

>Von Braun Volunteer 1: I heard Anaheim's big shots custom order their own Mistresses to their specifications. Damn, I can't wait to get hands on one of those...!
>Von Braun Volunteer 2: Stupid, think about the bigger picture here. We will be living like kings on Earth. Why not enjoy the finer things in life before locking yourself down with someone elses woman?
>Von Braun Volunteer 3: Stay in your lane, homo. Feddies were snatching up plenty of widows in Side 3. Now its our turn to get in on that action-

Stumbling next to Kamille, a relatively young, yet heavily battered man slings his arm across Kamille's shoulder.

>Drunken volunteer: Sho...when doesh the dental plan start? Assholes smashed in my...my fronsh teeths.
>Jerid: Oi, Kamille!

Jerid gives a firm pat the drunk mans face, pushing him back into a chair as he mumbles in his drunken stupor.

>Kamille: A lot of these guys seem like deadweights-
>Jerid: You didn't see how bad it was down there. Trust me, they can handle themselves. Considering what they will be doing, I can accept them letting loose for now. Here.

Jerid grabs at an unopened can of beer, snapping it open as he hands it to Kamille. Just wanting to take the edge off, Kamille begins to chug the can, before almost immediately coughing it out.

>Kamille: Ugh! This tastes awful...!
>Jerid: Ha! You must have not gotten out much, huh?
>Kamille: Even if I did, this tastes like pee...gweh...!
>Jerid: Hey, Casturo! We still got any of those pouch Margaritas!
>>
>>23813562

Immediately finding himself receptive to the sweet flavor from the frozen Margarita pouch, Kamille begins to relax despite being surrounded by so many unknown figures and the increasing background noise. Unaware of how to moderate himself, Kamille quickly loses his inhibitions as he smacks the table in front of Jerid.

>Jerid: We'll work you up to a Whisky next time. Put some hair your chest-
>Kamille: What happens when we win here, Jerid?
>Jerid: Obviously there are going to be some stragglers we will need to take down. After them, whoever is still dancing for the Senate will need to be beaten as well. There is always going to be someone looking to-
>Kamille: How about us? Are we...cool? Even if we are, Fa said you still felt like we had something to settle.
>Jerid: Oh...that. Someone has to the stand at the absolute top. Both of us can't have that-
>Kamille: Are you kidding me? You still-
>Jerid: It could be months, could be years...eventually, when there is no one left to take us on, someone has to be the right-hand.
>Kamille: It doesn't have to be that way. It isn't like I want to-
>Jerid: You will. Lila saw that you were only one who could match me...but I can't live my entire life as an equal. Don't stress to much about it. We have time until-
>Kamille: Say I beat you. I beat you so conclusively that it leaves no room for doubt...what then? Can you live with that?

Jerid finishes drinking another beer, tossing it aside as he leans back to stare at the ceiling.

>Jerid: That won't happen. The only time I would even need to think about that...is on that day. Again, it doesn't matter right now.
>Kamille: Jerid...
>Von Braun Volunteer: Hey sweet cheeks, did you know I went pro as a boxer? Want to see my muscles-
>Leila: Please stay away from me.
>Kamille: Leila? What the hell is she doing in-
>Jerid: If you aren't fighting, you aren't welcome here. Piss off-

Leila reaches into one of the fast-chiller containers, grabbing multiple cans of beer.
>>
>>23813580

Ignoring the looks being given to her by the Militiamen recruited by Jerid, Leila takes a seat next to Jerid, scrambling the alcoholic beverage cans across the table.

>Jerid: Don't even try it. They would be wasted on you-

Looking to the brand Jerid is consuming, Leila cracks open a similar can, readying herself to drink it. Just as the metal touches her lips, Jerid yanks the can away.

>Jerid: I already told you-
>Leila: You said these are reserved for those who are fighting, right? Then aren't I allow to join?
>Kamille: What? Leila, when did you decide that?
>Leila: When Fa told me she was going to be deploying, I...can't bring myself to let her go alone. She told me that I could disembark to be safe...but I owe so much to all of you.
>Jerid: Oh please, cut the shit. You are the last person I want to hear trying that.
>Leila: That also includes you, Lieutenant Messa. If not for the blood you donated-
>Jerid: What I know about you is enough for me to tell you to sod off. You want to go out there and fight? Fine, do it. Stop trying to act like something you aren't. It was your fault that Fa started acting crazy again...and don't waste these. If you are just trying to crawl into my head again, don't waste booze on-

Leila snatches back the can of beer, quickly gulping it down as she releases a small cough.

>Leila:...Bitter.
>Jerid: You gonna complain?
>Leila: I never said I disliked it.

Meanwhile at Gryps 2, the Dogosse Giar under Scirocco's command departs, with Paptimus Scirocco calling for a test firing of the recently completed Colony Laser weapon.

>Gryps 2 Officer: Isn't this rather premature? When the Senate learns of this-
>Scirocco: Considering the pressure they have been under with these insurrections, something like this should be reassuring to them. Besides, it is only a test shot.
>Gryps 2 Officer: I suppose you are correct. Enemy levels are...what? This is far above the levels for a simple test firing.
>Scirocco: Is it now?
>>
>>23813589

>Gryps 2 Officer: What is the meaning of this?! The laser could be damaged if it fired with level of-

*BANG*

Clutching for the torn cavity through his throat, the Officer placed in charge of the Colony Laser's testing gurgles in agony as he collapses. Holstering his hidden weapon, Scirocco sends a signal to the Jupitris, prompting the massive vessel's engines to ignite as it sets course for the Colony Laser. As the gargantuan transport vessel collides against the Colony Laser, the immense thrust readjusts the weapons firing angle, with the laser nearly ready to fire.

>Scirocco: (It was always meant to be this way. Good bye...)

Even as Scirocco hesitates with his thoughts turning to Sarah and Kamille, Scirocco forces aside his doubts as the Colony Laser is aimed for its new target.

[Scirocco and Haifan are now MIA]

Barely staying awake, Kamille slumps onto the table as the alcohol in his system finally overtakes him.

>Jerid: Hit your limit? That sweet crap will do that to-
>Leila: U-uwah...!
>Jerid: You too? That is what you two get for gorging on-
>Kamille: W-what just...?

Kamille hears a familiar scream echoing through his thoughts. Before he is able to discern who's voice it was however, an immeasurable tide of terror washes over Kamille and Leila.

>Jerid: The hell is up with you two? Don't tell me it is reacting that badly to-
>Von Braun Volunteer: W-what is with that light?! Its so bright...!
>Jerid: A light? Wait, where is it coming from?! Where the hell are you even seeing-

From the combined effects of the alcohol in his system and the terror induced stress, Kamille blacks out.

I just realized how funny it would be if Amuro is doing all this horrible shit for Haman's pussy, and if Haman is doing a bunch of horrible shit all for Char's dick, and Char is just on the Titans now drinking frozen margaritas with the son he never had because that's what dead Pakistani trim does to an actual wannabe motherfucker.
>>
>>23813600
Well, plans for forgiveness can wait on his deathbed. We could have heard him out, but that has another set of consequences.
>>
>>23813601

I hinestly feel bad for Sydle. She was a consistent screw up but she didn't deserve dying offscreen like that.

Vindicated in my not trusting Scirocco though. He's always been a snake and now that he's lost all his protégé, he's cutting ties entirely, likely to join Axis (as in game) or straight up team up with Amuro which would be rather novel.
>>
>>23813741
Even if Char fell into our laps I would be against putting him in the cockpit of a mobile suit. Dude is hanging by a thread.

Thinking about it I think getting drunk here might have been for the better, there's a good chance that if Kamille didn't have the mental dampeners already active at the time he'd have gotten mind broken from the carnage here. Leila getting better and Fa also putting herself in the position of actually fighting is a net upside to our forces even with Sydle dead, the biggest concern of her death is if that fucks up Sarah from a chain reaction. All things considered she made it shocking far for a character that lasts a single episode in the anime.
>>
>>23813731
She wishes she had coinflip endurance even capped out she's got only 7, her stats are worse than Katz she's so bad.
>>
>>23813913
It's also good that Kamille is physically around a lot of other people in this situation. If he was alone in his room, there would be nobody to lend a hand if he got injured or massively shocked by this.
>>
>>23813645
>>23813667
My working theory is that Sydle was going to lead our Alexandria into a trap and have us be hit by the colony laser. >>23813660 this guy probably has it right. Working off that here's a guess at the events. Scirocco let Sydle know about his plan to laser Von Braun since she was the last person loyal to him. Sydle goes to Kamille to either tell him about this or lead him into a trap with it. Four figures this out somehow and goes to confront Sydle. Kamille goes and gets drunk, Four kills Sydle, Von Braun is annihilated.

As for why our ship didn't get hit there could be multiple reasons. Four or Sydle intervened and got the ship moved out of the way. Scirocco thought we were docked in Von Braun and directly aimed at the city. Scirocco's hasty movement of the laser led to it missing. Etc.
>>
>>23813919
I forgot how mean GG was at giving stats to random jobbers.
>>
>>23814214
To be fair she is a 1 episode jobber and its just really a crap shoot when it comes to stats, you can be like Buran who's got stats better than some protagonists or you can end up like Shiro or Christina and be a protagonist with stats weaker than a literal who like Clamp a jobber who literally never piloted a mobile suit.
>>
>>23814234
I recall Bernie got fucked particularly bad for a character you have to wait over 90 turns to get. And then there's Gopp with the worst stats known to man.
>>
>>23814291
Bernie isn't that bad, he's on par with Kou, who's a solid Fed ace.
>>
>>23814433
He might not be that bad, but he ain't worth waiting 90 turns for. Feels like the devs hated his ass.
>>
>>23814623

In the original Saturn release of Gihrens Ambition Bernie was playable from the very start of the game and his stats could end up matching a level B Anavel Gato's by the time he hit S rank. Bernie may look pathetic initially but he can evolve into a very competent ace.
>>
>>23814234
>Ramba Ral’s right hand man
Of course he has halfway decent stats, and he usually isn’t piloting a mobile suit because Ramba leaves him in charge of the ship.
>>
>>23813601
Since Sydle is dead I guess that mean Leila will be the one piloting the Xeku the New Desides gave us. New woman new machine. Besides it'd be a really bad idea to go out in the old RX-78T Gundam Titans at this stage in the war.
>>
>>23813601
Feels bad, Sydle died alone not liked by anyone while trying to be useful and failing.

Hey guys, I don't know anything about this game serie (and Nobunaga's Ambition which is the games' gameplay based on apparently), is the gameplay deep and complex or is it just good enough and carried by the Gundam licence?
I just finished the first three series and CCA and I love strategy games so this games seems interesting.
>>
>>23814727
A random who never piloted a mobile suit from the OYW shouldn't be outstating Yazan's wingmen or some members of the Immortal 4th. The fact Clamp needs a mobile suit with a 200 limit to not be held back by it is crazy his stats are somehow above Acous and Cozen the 2 people Ral actually deploys with he's not breaking the game or anything, but his stats are weirdly high for an obscure one-year war character where you're lucky to half your stats in the double digits at S rank.
>>
>>23814972
>Clamp needs a mobile suit with a 200 limit to not be held back by it is crazy his stats
To be fair, close range isn't that important (most suits can't take advantage of anything beyond 13 anyways).
A 170% ace unit is good enough for those stats.

As Von Braun is burned away by the power of the Gryps 2 Colony Laser, Dakar finds itself under siege by a savage and brutal warband, one only carried by racial and religious grudges of the past being carried into the present. Delayed by bureaucratic meddling and internal sabotage by the Federation garrison at Dakar, the Titans forces on standby are kept from immediately acting. Unable to stomach the heinous brutality being allowed to transpire, Ajis Aziba, a young and faithful supporter of the public values of the Titans, springs into action.

>Federation Officer: The situation is completely under control!
>Ajis: You call "this" under control?! How many people have already died because of your inaction! This is exactly why I transferred to the Titans in the first place!
>Titan Garrison Commander: Lieutenant Aziba, this goes beyond even the Federation. High Command has ordered us to maintain our positions until additional forces can arrive-
>Ajis: Brand me a traitor if you must, but I am not going to let my oath be dragged through the mud because of commands inaction!

As a Federation Soldier attempts to restrain the young Titan, Ajis quickly breaks his grip, delivering a firm, debilitating punch. Making a break for his recently arrived Asshimar, Ajis ignores the guns being trained on him by the Federation. Springing into action themselves, the Titan garrison breaks their orders as they move to stop the Federation, giving an opening to their comrade.

>Titan Garrison Commander: (Just live long enough for your Court Martial, Lieutenant.)

Climbing into the cockpit of the Asshimar, Ajis bypasses the initial control verification process, launching the Mobile Suit immediately.

>Ajis: (Zeon, AEUG, Karaba...they are all the same damn thing! Just a pack of senseless murderers!)
>>

>ALF Soldier 1: Infidel filth!
>ALF Soldier 2: (God is with us! The vile spawn of Yakub have no future in the paradise that we shall usher in!)
>Gadeb: Burn their airports! If even one is allowed to escape, they will dedicate themselves to our collective suffering! Every last Frankish devil must die by our hands! It is the will of our ancestors! It is the will of God!! (Delusional fools. All that matters is the death of the Whites.)

While Gadeb's genocidal warband breaches into the heart of Dakar, two Desert Zaku's detect the shuttle that had delivered Quattro and the children to Dakar. Breaking away from the main attack force, the radicalized Mobile Suit pilots are consumed by the desire to prove themselves to their cause. Meanwhile, Quattro is driven to the outskirts of Dakar just as the attack intensifies, with him now intent on escaping from the madness with Shinta and Qum.

>Karaba Soldier: Sir, what is all of this?! Why are Zeon attacking?! T-this was never-
>Quattro: Come with us. Whatever Karaba has become, it isn't what Blex would have wanted-

The jeep containing Quattro and the soldier is tipped over by the immense thrust of the approaching Desert Zakus, with both retrofitted Mobile Suits opening fire on the stationary shuttle. Just as the rear of the shuttle detonates from the impact of the rockets, Ajis's Asshimar emerges from the sky with its beam saber drawn. In a single downward cut, Ajis slices one of the Desert Zaku's down the middle. Just as its companion Desert Zaku moves to retaliate, the Asshimar's hand swings into its cockpit, ripping through its light armor and nearly crushing the pilot within.

>Ajis: Damn, was I to late? Wait...you there!

Seeing Quattro pinned beneath the jeep, Ajis's Asshimar pushes the ruined vehicle away, only for him to be thrown back into another battle as a dark blue colored Desert Zaku tackles into him.

>Elo: Frankish scum! Today shall mark the rebirth of Africa's glory!
>Ajis: Zeon devil!
>>
>>23815483
Oh boy are we going to get a choice from fucking Ajis' point of view on what to do with Quattro here.
>>
>>23815483

>Elo: We only use the tools of the Spaceborns for our rightful cause! They have nothing to do with us!

With Ajis trapped in an engagement with the Blue Unit's rising ace, Elo Melloe, Quattro is left alone as he stares upon the burning wreckage of the shuttle.

>Quattro: Not...not again...! Lalah, I...couldn't even-

The emergency exit hatch of the shuttle burst out, with one of the shuttles staff carrying Shinta and Qum to safety as she falls to the sand below.

>Shinta: *Cough*...! Is Mister Quattro-
>Qum: There! I-*Cough*- see him...!
>Shuttle staff: Lieutenant! Why is this happening?! When is help coming for us?!

Forcing himself to his feet, Quattro prepares to respond, only freeze in place at the sight of Lalah's spirit lingering atop Shinta and Qum, her hands gently pressing their shoulders.

>Quattro: (I...ruined Amuro. I ruined Haman...I just couldn't let go of you, Lalah...! I'll take to space. Guide me, Lalah. Guide us all to a place that we can all be-)

*CRASH*

Slamming its hand down upon Shinta, Qum and the attendant, the Desert Zaku with its cockpit nearly crushed redirects its monoeye towards Quattro.

>ALF Radical: Better dead...than living as half-breeds...! Now...its your turn, Infidel-

Losing any sense of reality, Quattro trudges through the sand on all fours, his mind reduced to a primal state of function as he charges for the torn hole inside of the machine that had murdered last chance to atone for his sins.

>ALF Radical: B-back...! Stay back...!!

The Desert Zaku attempts to move from its crashed state, only to be held in place by the sunken dunes of sand. Trudging his way into the Mobile Suits torn open cockpit, Quattro's mind goes blank as he takes hold of the zealot, with murderous pilot releasing a terrified scream as the former Red Comet's hands rip into his pinned body.

[Quattro is now MIA]

Has a run ever been this insane or chaotic? This is just endless violence and bloodshed. The characters we know and love commiting worse and worse actions as reality breaks down around them.

This isn't a complaint; Dakar turning into an all out warzone is awesome. But I don't think we've ever experienced a run where we actively experience the downfall of civilization in the Earth sphere first-hand. Sure in the Bright run there was mass rioting and murders but our characters were separate from that. But here Dakar being massacred, Von Braun being obliterated, we the readers are seeing directly through horrors as order breaks down.
>>
>>23815518

It sounds like Char started all of this by ticking something up with Amuro and Haman. Man really should have stepped up and let them fuck him to get it out of their systems. Instead we have a planet race war on the horizon and him in a new state of depression.

We failed to stop the apocalypse during the Grey AEUG run the earth was literally ruined there, a lunar city was also deleted that run too. The only real unique part of the carnage here is things are going to hell and our PoV character is largely oblivious to just how fucked everything is, Kamille left earth with a perspective of us having more or less one and squashed all problems on earth and right now every governing body outside of the nearly arrived Axis is being burnt to the fucking ground. I guess we're also just missing major UC actors who'd be stabilizing forces this run too, everyone from White Base is dead, MIA or crazy oh and Bask wasn't chocked in the cradle to stop him from Basking it up.

I don't think Kamille even cares about revenge on either anymore. He's probably gonna be too busy feuding with Scirocco to even remember who either of them are.

As for Char, he's either going to kill himself or speedrun way past CCA levels of genocidal mania. I think we ought to stay out of his way.
Suffice to say, the moral of this story is NOT "Revenge is sweet".
>>
>>23815583
Maybe that's the point. Rational versus emotion once more. We may have to vote whether Kamille goes at them like a rabid dog upon sight or focus on more beneficial pursuits.
Or maybe his relationship points will drag him out from the revenge pit somehow.

>Brave: What are the chances Jamitov is still alive?
>Tosh: It is possible they may have evacuated him and have not announced his survival yet. Given the damage to Mount Kilimanjaro though-
>Brave: Alright you lot, there has change of plans! Our first target is going to be exterminating what is left of these traitors and Zeons left at Kilimanjaro! I want a total clean sweep of anything that isn't with the Federation or Titans, no exceptions! Tosh, let that force approaching from the Middle East know we will take care of securing what is left of the base.
>Tosh:...I would rather divert our attention to-
>Brave: Those animals got there ahead of us. The ones razing Dakar as we speak will just keep going until nothing is left. Besides...

*Tapping his finger against Tosh's monitor, Brave pulls up an image of the heinously damaged Prototype Psycho Gundam still rampaging.

>Brave: I am taking that things head.

Finally realizing the forces of the ALF to not be affiliated with their AEUG conspirators, the Federations garrison begins to properly mobilize to respond. At Dakar's primary airport, countless innocents attempt to break past the Federations security to escape the doomed city, with many of the Senators prioritizing themselves as they give orders for them to be fired upon for impeding their own escape. With his final measure to finally utilize "Casval Deikun" ruined, Azul silently kneels within the now emptied and dilapidated Conference hall.

>Azul: (All he had to do was listen to me. Everything that went wrong...is because none of them would just listen when I offered the truth...!!)

The silence shrouding Azul is broken by a single squawk, with a Swan looking down on him from partially collapsed ceiling.

>Azul:...Are you satisfied yet?! Did you come to mock me, Lalah?!

>>
>>23816428

The Swan just continues to stare at the emotionally tattered Newtype, its eyes never blinking.

>Azul: Is that how selfish you are?! You would...you would damn everyone and everything, just to deny me a chance at living?! Every time I find something worth protecting, you can't help but try to destroy my will to live! I could saved them all!! Zenna, Haman, even Reccoa!! Every time, you always whispered into Char's ear, turning him against me! Turning them all against me!! Its all over now...you won. You wanted me to watch as the Titans and Zeon will bring about that nightmare? Of that...strange Gundam, wiping away everything?

Azul feels his thoughts being invaded, with the voices of the ALF's psychotic soldiers crying out for the blood of the innocent. Of their zealotry to long dead causes and beliefs. As the screams of the citizens of Dakar also seep into his mind, Azul finally manages to block out the noise as he reaches as conclusion. Looking back to the Swan, Azul tosses the shard of glass in his hand at the bird, with it vanishing.

>Azul: It isn't over...not yet. If mankind can only be preserved by the judgement of a God...then so be it. They will have their "God" to forever keep them in line...!!

His psyche now shattered and rebuilt through his spite and anguish, Azul stumbles out from the Conference Room, his senses dulled as he steps past a little girl shaking the slain body.

>Blue-haired Child: Papa! Papa~!!

Even in his detached state, Azul senses a latent potential within the crying child. Standing over Adenauer's corpse, Azul leans down to the little girl. Without a single word, Azul lifts the child up, carrying her away from the deceased body as she struggles in his grasp.

>Blue-haired Child: Nooo!! Wake up, Papa-
>Azul: What is your name?
>Quess: Q-Quess...
>Azul: Shall we go then, Quess?

Springing awake, Kamille finds himself being held up by Jerid's shoulder.

>Kamille: W-what just-
>Jerid: Its all gone. Von Braun...that son of a bitch Scirocco went a did it! He blew it up!! He destroyed it, trying to get us!! Sydle...that stupid kid was left here as a plant! She was waiting to kill us both!
>Four: No, she only...only wanted to take Kamille's life. I practiced, and practiced, and kept practicing...so why is she gone? I didn't mean to take her life...!

Kamille is laid onto a couch to rest, with Four being made to recount what had happened hours prior. While Kamille, Jerid and the others aboard the ship had been trying to relax as the Alexandria and the forces following it traveled for Granada, Four had followed Sydle back to her room to pressure her. Sydle, manic and having been plotting to ambush Kamille, attempted to stab Four with a knife, only to be disarmed and questioned. Driven to grief and despair from not being contacted by Scirocco and attributing the abandonment to Kamille and Sarah's recent actions, Sydle had plotted to murder Kamille to prove her devotion to Scirocco. Believing she could "correct" the mania from Sydle, Four attempted to beat the madness from her, only to be caught off guard as Sydle managed to properly retaliate. Not wanting to accidentally deal a serious wound to Sydle, Four had attempted to place her into a coma using the technique she had learned from Kamille's use of it...only for the loss of so many innocents at Von Braun to throw off her focus as she snapped Sydle's neck in the process.

[Titan forces on route to Granada were outside of the Colony Laser's impact area. No damage. -20 Morale to all troops in this force.]
>>
>>23816513
Frankly as much is it sucks for Four to get hit with a double morale loss here her actions were entirely justified, she did her best and it's a good thing we didn't go instead especially since Van Braun would have actively exploded during the fucking fight that would have felt awful to lose a life to.

>>
>>23816513
>[Titan forces on route to Granada were outside of the Colony Laser's impact area. No damage. -20 Morale to all troops in this force.]
So Scirocco literally did nothing. His attempt to kill Kamille was completely ineffective, the jovian didn't even damage our forces in any way. He just finished off a city that was already ravaged by AEUG. His payoff for all of this is becoming a criminal and going MIA.

I think we successfully rage baited Scirocco into acting out and rushing whatever his plan was. He's out there though with the Jupitris and Dogose Giar. We'll likely fight him someday.
>>23816578
Those were Titans joining us because of Jerids speech and declaration at Von Braun. There garrison forces and other Titans that left their post and we're heading towards Von Braun. Seeing the city you were heading to be literally annihilated can't be a good feeling.

Yazans forces are on the other side of Granada and will join us at Granada invading from the other side.

>>23816535
>The treasure ships have all departed without any questions.
Sounds like Carbine has basically already given up hope of actually winning the Battle of Granada. This looks like evacuating as much wealth as possible to head for Axis in the vain hope they won't just cast AEUG's remnants aside.

Seeing that they are giving up just like that, with our only serious enemies left at Granada now seemingly being Henken and druggie Mezun, I wonder if we actually should have taken our first chance of seizing Granada in hindsight, back when Jerid was injured. We assessed the risk of Jerid getting killed was too high, and we weren't in great shape either at the time in terms of available forces, but if Granada ends up falling as easily as California we might have been overestimating AEUG's ability to defend even their most vital strongholds.

Granada. The economic heart of the Moon, and the true stronghold of the AEUG's entire movement. After so many sacrifices in this war, Kamille and Jerid now are faced with being the ones to bring the insurrectionist movement to its end.

While rushing might stop their forces from taking more losses, you also have to keep in mind rushing could leave Fa and Drake open to attacks as well.

Gady died not because we didn't bumrush but because he only had 3 mobile suits to protect his own ship.

We have enough Nemos and Hizacks to block damage for both Fa and Drake
>>
>>23817092
also to keep in mind we literally can't control Yazan's forces
>>
>>23817060
So, Yazan's force is significantly shittier than ours the best value his force could give is as extra lower value targets while we tear up the enemy, another thing to consider is that the AI loves to ignore its supply lies when attacking Granada from that angle.
I think it's certainly going to be one of the two charge commands if we want Yazan to join us as an ally long term it's just a question of do we think we are better off grouping up with Yazan or not. Considering the Ace suit we have just lying around it might be for the better to group up with Yazan to see if we get lucky with a mid-map transfer handing him the aged but better than what he's currently piloting Titan's Gundam.
Frankly I say just a full-scale offense the only concern is Mex in his Hyaku Shiki and even that's only to our weaker aces like Fa who's inherently so slow the fight will be over before she gets there now.
>>
>>23817060
What are AEUG's forces though? I feel like we should be able to at least get a estimate
>>
>>23817060

Stick with the plan. As tempting as it is to try linking up, the capture point is right there for Kamille's group. Jerid and Kamille can quickly set up a corridor for Mega Bazooka launcher fire while soaking up AEUG aggro for Fa on the point while everyone else sets up a defensive screen on anyone who gets close.

Yazan's group will take some time to reach the battlefield and will actually cut right into the AEUG's flank. They're more plentiful but they also don't have the heavy-hitters to withstand a long assault compared to the Alexandria crew.
>>
>>23817112
This is the main base of the enemy faction the AI isn't charging off that main point for any reason ever that's how the AI in GG works.
>>
>>23817114

Nah, if there's bait in front of them that they can quickly reach, they absolutely will charge off the point. Especially if the bait is smaller than them and closer than the other group. The only thing that might stop them is if taking the point disrupts their swift movement (truthfully, any Methuss or Delta types they have can likely reach it instantly) but I still think it's better than trying to cross the entire field to link up with Yazan.
>>
>>23817114
AI will congregate around the main point, but they will absolutely send in anyone they can towards you while keeping a couple of units in reserve to defend the center. Trying to link up with Yazan will just make our forces get hit by the flanks.
>>
>>23817114
>>23817120 (me)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xMTViE5tTk

You can even see it right here, at 24:30. The AI is like a shark, it senses blood and goes wild.
>>
>>23817132
That's with a larger force the smaller and more outnumbered they are the less they will move, especially on their final point.
>>
>>23817141

The forces are relatively even but they still charged. The AI only tends to really hunker down when they're majorly outnumbered (which we can't quite tell exact numbers in the image) but I still say we have more to lose than gain by charging in. Double so if we try to link up with Yazan. Truthfully, all it might take to lure the AEUG in is putting Kamille and Jerid slightly ahead of Fa for them to come running into the kill box.
>>
>>23817060
God bless those 12 Hizack pilots this late in the war. Just play it safe, guys. You're basically in trainer mobile suits at this stage.
>>
>>23817060
I'm sticking with the plan(mega launcher). It will earn us points with Fa and maybe if we strike a decisive blow against the AEUG our group will be the ones to dictate what happens in Granda instead of Yazan's group who seem to be a lot more bloodthirsty.
>>
>>23817060
It's hilarious to me that Copy even put the option in to abandon the operation at this stage.
Stick to the plan, it is frankly no great loss to us if a few of Yazan's Zakus and GMs get destroyed. They will be practically worthless against Axis anyway. There's no way he is getting killed by AEUG's trash. This way we protect our own forces, we get usage out of the Mega Launcher, and if the enemy choose to rush Yazan's forces, we can just zip straight to the centre once they're too far out to make it back.
What we don't want to do is get stuck in a big melee in the middle after rushing in while the Argama Kai fires at our mobile suits from safety. We want to break through a small picket and focus down Henken before he can do any real damage. No telling what Mezun is gonna do. Hell, in a perfect world, Fa will hit the Argama Kai. Maybe Jerid will do it, remember that time he almost took down the Argama early in the run?
Anyway, stick to the plan, we have this launcher so we might as well use it. Unlike California, nobody is coming to save AEUG here, so we are in no massive rush on a tactical level.
>>
>>23817189
What about the people are who are in Act Zakus and GM Quels in Yazans fleet? Those guys are fucked.
>>
>>23817215
Personally, I'd take an Act Zaku or a GM Quel over a non-custom Hizack. The Act Zaku has better stats and the Quel has a shield. The non-custom Hizack is just a budget filler grunt.
>>
>>23817218
>Quel has a shield
Does the Hizack not have a shield in GG?
>>
>>23817224
It does but the Quel just has better stats.
>>
>>23817224
>>23817252 (me)
I realized I missed an also in my initial post damn dyslexia.
Meant to say
>The Act Zaku has better stats and the Quel also has a shield.
>>
>>23817253
Are Hizacks just that horrible?
>>
>>23817267
2-turn production units in general are way better than 1-turn ones. Those are essentially just fodder.
>>
>>23817267
They're defined by just how inexpensive they are and only needing 1 turn to produce. Nothing else in the gryps era is going to cost nearly as little as they do at 1500 Money and 3600 Resources for a squad of 3 but it's not beating anything in an equal number fight and it loses to plenty of stardust memory era grunts even. They also upgrade to the Hizack Custom which is a good suit being a slightly slower but higher stated Powered GM that has access to flight craft on earth which is huge, it's something I wouldn't question on the battlefield when Axis arrives but it is reaching the end of its service life.

For context on some price points
Act Zakus are 2850 Money and 3150 Resources over 2 turns.
GM Quels are 2700 Money and 3750 Resources over 2 turns
Marasais are 2100 Money and 5250 Resources over 1 turn.
Nemos are 1,800 Money and 4350 Resources over 1 turn.
Powered GMs are 2850 Money and 4050 Resources over 2 turns
Hizack Customs are 2,100 Money and 4,350 Resources over 2 turns.

The Marasai and Nemos are about equals to each other with the Nemo being significantly cheaper and are significantly stronger than any other grunt we're currently fielding in 1 range with the Hizack Customs being a bit better than them due to access to 1-2 range weapons letting them get free attacks off from outside of melee range.
>>
>>23817267
Its better than the GM II and roughly on par or better than everything else in the 'cheap 1 range unit that can hop on a flier' category pre gryps, but is inferior to literally everything after it either slightly or significantly, and the tech jump in gryps is hideous. Those Xekus attacking africa completely crush it in absolutely every way.
>>
>>23817112
I'd hope Kamille's forces can communicate with Yazan's and at least give them a heads-up about the Mega Launcher.
>>
Staying cool and sticking to the plan it is.
Given the meta knowledge about AI behavior when cornered, everything should go fine and the girls will get some easy exp.
>>
>>23817476
I think the plan is to use the infamy of the Black Devil to lure in the AEUG forces. Then Fa blasts them with the Mega Launcher. Let's hope that's what our enemy does, and not run away and focus on Yazan first since they're the less infamous target.
>>
>>23817505
Even if the AEUG gets second thoughts, /m/ezun will ragehog hard as FUCK once he sees the Black Devil and charge in, forcing everyone else to back him up. It'll be fine.
>>
>>23817476
>no one voted to abandon
legitmately shocked there wasn't at least one troll vote
>>
>>23817534
We have the ultimate Chekovs gun here, that being invading Granada and firing the Hyaku Shiki Mega Launcher. With how much it's been built up as Kamille and Jerid's ultimate goal everyone wants to see Granada conquered, AEUG being absolute scum this run helps too. Same goes for the Mega Launcher it's been used as a threat and aimed at people, but never fired, now's the time to finally see that happen.
>>
>>23817060

Maintaining the original attack plan, the Black Devil unit deploys to secure a defensive position to draw out the AEUG's forces into the line of fire of the Mega Launcher. As Fa approaches the damaged Hyaku Shiki to begin the operation, she feels herself beginning to grow increasingly unsteady as the weight of what she has agreed to do fully begins to dawn on her.

>Jerid: Having second thoughts?
>Fa:...I can't afford to. Not now.

Jerid leans against Fa, tapping her helmet against hers.

>Jerid: Make it count. I believe in you.
>Fa: Jerid...!
>Leila: I won't let anyone come close to her. I promise.
>Jerid:...Put my blood to good use, Leila. Alright you animals, this is it! No hesitation, no retreat, only victory! We will hold this line until the AEUG has swarmed to us! With one decisive blow, history will remember what we did here forevermore! History will know us the true Titans!!

Despite finding himself surrounded by spacenoid volunteers and other unsavory elements that had been abandoned by the authority of Earth, Jerid places his full faith into his new band of loyalist as they eagerly move to join him in battle. Meanwhile, Kamille's Zeta Gundam launches into space, with Four deploying without the G-Defender equipped.

>Kamille: You are going without it?
>Four: I don't want to fight from afar. In this battle, it needs to be done up close. I...just want to fight until this awful feeling goes away.
>Kamille: Don't lose control out there. This isn't like Pezun...so stay at my side until the battle is over.
>Four:...Yes.

AEUG's concentrated forces split into two fleets, with Henken mobilizing the Argama Kai to attack Yazan's fleet, while a force of Nemo II's and Hyaku Shiki Kai's mobilize to strike at the Black Devils.

>Kayra: Maintain formation! Our target is their flagship!
>AEUG pilot: Ma'am, we have another Hyaku Shiki moving towards our position! It isn't trying to join the formation's movement though!
>>
>>23817736
5 officers I can think of 3 of them but I've got no clue for the last 2 who does the AEUG even have left in space?
>>
>>23817738

At Granada? Henken, Apolly, Kayra, Mezun and Astonaige. Roux was redeployed to Side 3 so we can expect her to be drafted into Axis when they arrive.
>>
>>23817736

Yazan's forces collide against the fleet under Henken's command, with both sides sustaining catastrophic losses as they batter one another savagely.

>Henken: They are bound and determined to destroy Granada, regardless of their own losses. Apolly, move forward and reorganize the west flank! Don't let them pass under any circumstance!
>Apolly: Roger that! Rick Dias teams, go for their Salamis's! Without their support fire, their Mobile Suits will be sitting ducks for the fleets guns!

Despite his realization of the AEUG's attack strategy, Yazan willingly chooses to charge directly into the trap, excited to see the full extent of the AEUG's desperation should their trap be bypassed.

>Yazan: More! Fight until your blood has boiled into vapor! Until your bones are nothing but dust!! This is what war is all about! The true sensation of life and death!!

While the two fleets to the north of Granada rip into one another, A Hyaku Shiki Kai pushes past Kayra's squadron.

>Kayra: Pilot, stop it! You are leaving yourself completely open like-
>Mezun: I will not live in shame!! Kill...! Kill them...kill them all!!!
>Kayra: W-what...?!
>Nemo II pilot: Captain Mex, what happened to you?! Y-your eyes are-
>Mezun: If we fail, the Titans will kill absolutely everyone you care about! Even if you think they already have, they will find others! All of this...is because of Kamille! If it wasn't for him...if it wasn't for that damn...!!

Mezun rips away his helmet, chucking it aside as he spits out crystalized, bloody phlegm flooding his lungs.

>Mezun: This pain will only go away...when every last one of these Titans are dead...!! Starting...with Kamille!!!

[Mezun Mex's morale has been maxed. If shot down in current state, he will die regardless of Endurance]
>>
>>23817751
I expected this outcome but wonder how much friendly fire the Mega Launcher will cause if Yazan doesn't listen to any warnings.
>>
>>23817751

Unable to bring herself to allow Mezun to charge in alone, Kayra revises her formation, with her mobilizing to stop Mezun's charge.

>Jerid: More of those gold Mobile Suits! Kamille!
>Kamille: Right, I see them!
>Sarah: They are coming right for us! They aren't...they won't get past us!
>Four: T-this feeling...?

Four breaks off from Kamille, boosting the Mark II to guard the Mega Launcher and Fa from the incoming wave of AEUG Mobile Suits.

>Kayra: A beam cannon? Something of that size would...evade! Get out of its line of fire-
>Kamille: You wouldn't have died if hadn't of come so close to us!

Precisely firing a beam through Kayra's Hyaku Shiki's waist, the Zeta Gundam draws its saber to deal a killing blow, just for him to be intercepted by Mezun's fanatical frenzy.

>Mezun: Is that you in there, Kamille?!
>Kamille:...Mezun? What...what have you done to yourself-
>Mezun: Die! Die and rot with your Titan loving parents!! All of this is your fault!! Everything!!
>Kamille: You stupid-
>Jerid: I got a lock on him! Kamille, push him back so I can get a shot on its-

Screaming from frustration and the immense flow of negative emotions striking her, Sarah crashes her Byarlant into Mezun's Mobile Suit, slamming against the hull of the Alexandria. Before Mezun can retaliate, Sarah rams the Byarlant's claw through his cockpit, ripping his body in half. Despite being bisected and being exposed to open space, Mezun's body continues to operate, with him firing one final beam into the shoulder of the Byarlant.

>Sarah: Disappear, and take your hatred for Kamille with you!!

Firing a beam through the torn open cockpit, Sarah's Byarlant is thrown back as the blast vaporizes Mezun and blasts a hole into a section of the Alexandria's launch deck.

[Mezun Mex has died]

>Kayra: Boy, no! Why did you go and-

Showing no restraint of hesitation, Kamille fires a beam through the Hyaku Shiki Kai's generator, forcing Kayra to bail out into space.

really funny that Kamille, Fa, Lilah and Jerid have such an oddly strong friendship here. one would think Titans Kamille would mean the poor kid is even more miserable than he normally is.

>>23817772
Kamille was pretty miserable, but on the flip side turns out the titans has more people to be peers with in his age range
>>
>>23817772
Despite everything, I think Kamille actually has more agency in here than in canon. Sure, he's still shackled to the Titans, but throughout the run he's at least had some say in how the organization around him unfolds and who he makes allies with. Compared to his situation in the AEUG, I think he's in a relatively good place despite all the setbacks.
>>
>>23817772
Thinking about it I don't Kamille was ever happy in Zeta outside the first episode and his time with Four in Hong Kong, the entire rest of the show has him being miserable justifiably due to the constant shit stream that was being on the Argama.

>Kamille: AEUG pilot, don't struggle! Alexandria, we have a jettisoned survivor from the attack force! Once the Mega Launcher fires, send a recovery unit to-

The moment Kamille pings Kayra's position in space, Jerid immediately brandishes his Byarlants saber, swinging it into her body and reducing her to a misty vapor.

[Kayra has died]

>Kamille: What the hell was that?! They were completely helpless!
>Jerid: You didn't see what I did down in Von Braun. Had that pilot been rescued, any horror the volunteers would have visited upon them would have never compared to what they suffered. I want them focused and ready to fight until Granada has completely submitted!
>Kamille: Even so...!
>Jerid: Fa is in position. Once that weapon fires, we will have the opening we need to finish this...once and for all.

Meanwhile, Fa clutches at her chest as she focuses the compression barrel of the Mega Launcher, its aim ready to burn through multiple AEUG Mobile Suits.

>Fa: (I need to do this...! If I can't, then I won't have anything to go back to...I won't...I won't...!!)

Just as a beam nearly impacts the Mega Launcher, Leila's Xeku blocks the shot with its shoulder.

>Leila: I won't be alone ever again!

Emboldened by Leila's panicked words, Fa pushes ahead of the Xeku, fully locking onto the AEUG's approaching force.

>Fa: Just give up!!

A blinding flash of energy erupts from the Mega Launcher, colliding into the battalion of Nemo II's and the Salamis Kai escorting them.

>Nemo II pilot 1: W-what power...gah!!
>Nemo II pilot 2: Henken...!!

[19 AEUG Mobile Suits destroyed by Mega Launcher]

>Fa: All of them are...gone. I just...I had to do this to end-
>AEUG Pilot: I'll take you with me~!!

Emerging from the half melted Salamis, a standard Hyaku Shiki charges for the Mega Launcher, intent on taking Fa with him in a final act of revenge.

>Four: No you don't!
>>
>>23818080

Intercepting the survivor of Fa's attack, Four, Leila and a group of pilot volunteers from Von Braun form a defensive wall in front of the Mega Launcher, holding back the kamikaze AEUG attacker. With AEUG's defenses on Granada's eastern position nearly annihilated, Jerid and Kamille press the assault against the city, putting immense pressure on Henken as his assault on Yazan's fleet devolves into a trading of losses.

>Henken: We can't hold this position any longer! At this rate, Granada will be completely destroyed if that weapon is fired on it...!
>Apolly: D-damn, i've got my hands over here!

Despite still piloting a partially outdated Marasai, Yazan manages to keep pace with Apolly's advanced Hyaku Shiki Kai.

>Yazan: Thinking of trying to run away? I didn't come here to slaughter civilians, only you Zeon lovers. C'mon, show me you still have stones and stay!
>Apolly: You Titan psychopaths...!

Learning of Kayra's death, Astonaige loses himself to mania over her demise. Climbing into the cockpit of a partially repaired Nemo II, the head mechanic enters into battle, intent on joining Kayra after securing his comrade and friends safety in their retreat.

>Yazan: Ha! Here comes another one!
>Apolly: Get back! This guys in a different league than-
>Astonaige: We were going to build a life together! Have a family! Grow old and die with one another!!
>Apolly: Astonaige?!
>Yazan: Heh~now that is the kind of resolve I like to see! C'mere, I was looking for someone new to violate!

Already anticipating Astonaige's clumsy attacks, Yazan easily dodges them, only for his Marasai's booster to malfunction in the middle of a maneuver.

>Yazan: Piece of junk, screwing up now of all-
>Astonaige: Arrrgghhhh!!!

Tossing aside his depleted beam rifle, Astonaige narrowly avoids a shot being fired from Yazan, with him ramming the Mobile Suits beam saber through the Marasai's reactor.

>Titan pilot: C-Colonel Gable!?
>Yazan: To...the likes of you...?!
>>
>>23818089

>Astonaige: Go to hell! You, and every last one of you Titans!
>Yazan:...Hehe. Hehehe...Mwahahaha!! That is the right attitude...! You'll fit in whatever hell we both end up in!!

Ejecting the front cockpit flap of his Marasai, Yazan leaps out onto Astonaige's Mobile Suit, utilizing the emergency unlock latch on the Nemo II's exterior to enter its cockpit. Brandishing a knife from his normal suits ankle holster, Yazan prepares to lunge at Astonaige, only to be struck by a handheld grapple hook being fired out by the mechanic, throwing the vicious Titan back out into space.

>Yazan: This isn't over until one of us, or both are dead! So get out here and die like a man!

Just as Yazan attempts to tug the hook to force Astonaige into space, his Marasai detonates, consuming him in the explosion.

>Astonaige: Haaa...! Ugh...haaaa...!!
>Apolly: Astonaige, can you hear me?! That lunatic nearly-

Astonaige releases a war cry, his throat rending from the terror and anger flourishing within him as his burned Nemo II continues to open fire on AEUG's forces.

>[Yazan has been severely injured]

I get the distinct feeling he's never going to get over that time on Von Braun for as long as he lives. Maybe there's no law down there, but there is supposed to be law on our ship.

I don't regret our choice to stick to the plan at all. We couldn't have guessed he would fuck up that badly, we are the ones with a bunch of traditionally fragile aces and a Mega Launcher slowing us down.

>>23818093
>[Yazan has been severely injured]
Well at least he's not dead (yet) it's also a good thing he didn't bring his wingmen with him since there is no way all of them would have passed their endurance checks.
Also called it sticking to the plan would going to get Yazan's entire force destroyed his entire army was fucking trash mobs with no real ace suit for him in sight. The fact he managed to survive a duel against Apolly in a Hyaku Shiki variant is impressive enough.

Aren't Marasais basically equal to Nemos going off the stats earlier in the thread?
So he was at a slight disadvantage against a Nemo II.
But against Astonaige, who can barely pilot at all, in a heavily damaged model no less.
Call it what it is, Yazan got cocky and complacent. Hopefully this is not going to affect his personality too badly, Scirocco took it pretty well when he got scarred earlier. His stats will surely be affected.
>>

Scirocco got scarred taking him on an entire fleet and Amuro at the same time. Yazan got beat by one of Chars nooks and a mechanic. Yazan isn’t going to lick his wounds on this one.

[AEUG has sustained heinous losses. 70% of their total forces have been destroyed. 20/25% of the Titans invasion fleet have been wiped out]

Despite the loss of many of his comrades, Apolly manages to reorganize the survivors of the tattered AEUG fleet for a final defense, with him successfully destroying an entire squadron of Act Zaku's with support from a platoon of Mass Production Guncannons. Despite his immense resistance, Apolly is unable to stop the advance of the Black Devil squadron as they breach Granada's final line of defense leading to the city.

>Henken: We likely aren't going to survive this one. Anyone who wants to take their chances in the city, head for the escape craft now! Otherwise, we will charge directly into that approaching force!

Despite his honesty of the situation, none of Henken's allies leave the vessel, with them continuing their duties to the bitter end.

>Henken: Thank you...

With the Argama Kai now in their line of fire, Kamille, Jerid and Sarah push ahead of the main force to sink the AEUG's flagship.

>Jerid: For Kacricon! For Gady! For Lila!!
>Sarah: If we can sink this ship, the AEUG will be finished. After that...Master Paptimus will be our next enemy...
>Kamille: Sarah, don't lose your focus now! Not when-
>Intoxicating voice?: (What a peculiar Newtype you are, boy. I can't wait to finally meet you...hehehe...)

The Zeta Gundam completely locks in place, with Kamille's every sense thrown into chaos at the sensation invading his thoughts. Whatever had just spoken to him, a raw, primal fear began to overtake him.

>Jerid: W-what the hell is this feeling? Did the AEUG deploy some kind of new weapon...?
>Sarah: M-my skin feels...strange. I have goosebumps everywhere...!

Breaching into the very heart of Granada, Kamille, Jerid and Sarah engage the Argama Kai, overwhelming the vessel with ease even in their delirious states of mind.

>Henken: Blex...everyone...I am sorry.
>Argama Kai Officer: Henken, all guns are offline! Engines are critical! What do we do?!
>Henken:...We die, Ensign. The others are waiting for us.

Just as Jerid prepares to strike the bridge of the Argama Kai, Sarah pushes past him, swinging the Byarlants claw down upon it.

>Sarah: Why?! Why won't this terrible feeling go away?!
>Jerid: Is it in Anaheim's Headquarters? Ngh! I'll burn it all to the ground!
>Astonaige: Until the bitter end!!

Tackling his Nemo II past the Zeta Gundam, Astonaige nearly slashes into Sarah's cockpit, with Jerid only narrowly slicing away its arms before the saber could make contact.

>Apolly: Astonaige! Eject already, you damned fool! Eject!!

Abandoning his defense, Apolly moves his Hyaku Shiki Kai to engage the Black Devil unit, with him being almost immediately overpowered by their combined attacks.

>Apolly: It wasn't...supposed to end like this! We just had to survive a little long-

Jerid's Byarlant slices the Hyaku Shiki Kai cleanly in half, pushing aside its wreckage as he fatally damages Astonaige's Nemo II.

>[Henken has survived. Apolly has died. Astonaige has survived]
>>
>>23818773

AEUG's final line of defense rapidly crumbles under the overwhelming offensive of the Black Devil's offensive, with the survivors of the fleet from Zedan mopping up any of the AEUG's remnants attempting to escape from the doomed battleground.

>Jerid:...Where are they? Where are the ones who killed Lila?! This can't be all the AEUG has left-damn it, why won't this buzzing in my head go away?!

The Zeta Gundam fires two rockets from its wrist launcher, destroying a still retaliating Rick Dias. Suffering most intensely from the oppressive sensation, Kamille finds himself becoming increasingly unhinged as his allies begin to surround Granada City.

>Kamille: (Where are they? Are they not here? Just-)

A beam collides with Anaheim Electronics's Corporate headquarters, bursting the facility into a burst of explosions that begins to envelop the Commercial district around it.

>Jerid: Its over, AEUG! For the inhumanity you visited upon my followers, your punishment will be a thousand-fold! Those who resist or hide will join in their suffering! To those who seek to survive, strike down any who would defy the Titans! Liberate yourselves into being human again, not Spacenoids!

[Granada has fallen. AEUG has been completely eradicated]

>Haifan: Lord Scirocco, reports have indicated that Granada has been fully sieged. The AEUG are completely overwhelmed.
>Scirocco: Once talks have concluded, set us on course for the Moon. They will starved for supplies, so it will just be a battle of attrition.
>Haifan: Contact signal is in range. Communication codes accepted...line is connecting now.

Scirocco straightens his posture, attempting to maintain an air of absolute confidence and authority as he prepares to negotiate with the "Vizier" of Axis...only to find himself faced a Purple-haired Official instead.

>August: Paptimus Scirocco, correct?
>Scirocco: Who exactly are you? I was assured that my contact would be with the Vizier.
>August: The Vizier answers to the will of our Queen. She has more vital duties to attend to-
>Scirocco: No...! I was already told part of our arrangement was that my forces would secure Granada in the name of the Queen!
>August: Unnecessary. On behalf of our Queen, you will be escorted to Axis to kneel before her...and to answer for the destruction of Von Braun.

Muting the communication to August's ship, Scirocco turns to face Haifan.

>Scirocco: Divert our course to Granada, full speed!
>Haifan: My Lord-
>Scirocco: Any punishment they choose to inflict upon me is nothing compared to the consequences of allowing the Vizier to make contact with that boy!

Meanwhile at Granada, Leila and Four escort Fa's Hyaku Shiki back to the Alexandria for repairs, with Fa curled in her cockpit from the stress of having taken so many lives. Just as they make landing however, both Leila and Four feel an immense sense of terror striking at them, causing them both to silently panic. On the surface of Granada, the city falls into anarchy over Jerid's proclamation.

>Jerid: Landing forces, show no mercy to anyone belonging to the AEUG or Anaheim! Today, their existence ends! Every last one of them will be-
>Sarah: Jerid!!
>Jerid: Wha-
>>

The Titans forces are only able to silently stare in confusion as a black shadow in the shape of a Mobile Suit hovers above Jerid's Byarlant.

>Jerid: When did-
>Intoxicating voice?: (You have done enough, rabid Newtype. I have use for your fangs...so don't force me to rip them from your jaws.)

Jerid attempts to move his Byarlant's controls, only to find his body refusing to obey as his internal thoughts force him to remain still. The visor of the shadow locks onto Kamille's Zeta Gundam, blinking in the darkness of space.

>Intoxicating voice?: (...Now it all makes perfect sense. His actions brought about the awakening of someone like you...magnificent.)
>Kamille: (Who...are you?)

Kamille's body shiver with a combination of primal fear, and a biological arousal breaching his every instinct. The voice was calm, yet domineering. Cold, yet it had rooted itself deep into his mind. The presence felt as if it could overtake him at any moment...and a part of Kamille involuntarily yearned to be touched by it.)

>Intoxicating voice?: As the Vizier of Axis, you have been granted a great honor. The honor to be judged by the rightful Queen of Zeon.

Mommy is here, now everyone dies.
>>
>>23818867
Alright /m/, I know it's really, really, REALLY hard, but at least try to not simp hard for Haman in this run
>>
>>23818867

[New thread will be made later tonight]
>>
>>23818877
what the fuark
get this thing away from me.
>>
>>23818877
Haman got possessed by Baby? Shit, can Kamille go Super Saiyan 4? Or are we fucked?
>>
>>23818877
What the hell is going on at axis?
It's a shame Yazan got toasted, an oldtype ace wouldn't be as susceptible to this nt dommy-mommy shit
>>
>>23818856
>>23818867
I hope Scirocco comes and saves Kamille and his crew. Yes Scirocco shot the colony laser at Von Braun and horribly manipulated us. But damnit the Jovian is much more preferable than that "Vizier" which showed. Scirocco also deeply cares about Kamille and Sarah, he acts like he doesn't, but really he does. I don't think he'd want them to be mind raped by this thing >>23818877
>>
>>23818979

I personally think it is less about care and more about him being scared shitless what will happen if this thing wearing Hamans skin is going to use them for. As someone mentioned with her looking like a Baby/Tuffle infection victim then she could have some body snatching powers.
>>
>>23818877
Amuro fucking UC Engage cloned Haman then had the clone kill and replace Haman? Holy shit.
>>
>>23818877
Did she also receive a sweet little kiss from Amuro?
>>
>>23818881
Nah, it's a fusion. That's why Lila was pushing for the Jerid teamup so we can become Jamil & make this multiverse stuff go even further beyond
>>
>>23818856
>Scirocco: Any punishment they choose to inflict upon me is nothing compared to the consequences of allowing the Vizier to make contact with that boy!
Who is Scirocco worried about here? The Vizier and the chance that she could be enthralled by Kamille and become a conduit for his emotions? Or is he worried that the Vizier will be able to mold Kamille into a weapon, a venture in which the Jovian failed himself?

Also if the opportunity arises we should forgive Scirocco. Sarah mentioned to do it after the talk with Scirocco, she's also willing to fight against him as she mentioned they'd have to fight against him after destroying AEUG. The Jovian dying would also be horrific for Kamille and Sarah, as they'd both lose someone that truly understands them. That'd be horrible for their mental states.
So when all our characters are lined up kneeling before Mineva and we're asked "is Scirocco worthy of mercy". Say yes he is. We don't want someone who could still be a close friend and ally being tortured to death in the bowels of Axis.
>>
>>23819087
My question is, how many clones are running around?
>>
>>23818877
looks like she has an oozing pimple on her chin
>>
>>23819250

(Actually in agreement about it looking a little off. Removed the little chin nub)
>>
>>23819171
>Forgive
I think you mean APOLOGIZE
Y'all seem to forget just how much pappy has done for Kamille and the black devil squad as a whole, just ask yourselves:
Who took our GOAT under his wing and provided him with guidance on his darkest of times, when he needed it the most?
Who imparted on him knowledge all about newtype dim maks and stuff?
Who took notice of his ms engineering know-how and took steps to bring what kamiyu cooked into reality?
Who bamboozled the space jews into R&Ding the Zeta, only to arrange its 'retrieval' it later?
Who stuck his neck out for our best bro when arrest orders where issued against him?
Who gifted us with a loyal nt gf in need of true understanding and love? And also Sydle
Who, despite our repeated transgressions, tried to warn us of Axis Zeon's imminent arrival?
And who, last but most recent, is currently en route to once again lend us a hand in these dire times?
That's right. The Jovian.
>>
>>23819171
To hell with that. I was on the side of joining forces with Scirocco to take on Bask and the New Desides, but after he vaporized Von Braun right before our eyes and one of his consorts came up with a plot to end this campaign, our best bet right now is to face everything head-on and create the true Titans with Jerid.
Even Sarah currently has the right idea about our relationship with Scirocco; the girl is not stupid.
>>
>>23819309
Counterpoint the leaders of our forces seem to be completely under the thrall of this Vizier and whatever powers she wields. Unless Fa, Leila, and Four can free Kamille and the others from her grasp. Which I highly doubt to be honest. Scirocco will be the only way out for Kamille and his forces. We can argue with the jovian later but we need to get away from that THING now!

I should also say it's incredibly likely that Kamille, Scirocco and all the other important named characters get brought before Mineva to swear fealty to her or something. As a parallel to when the members of the Argama were made to meet Mineva in the anime. In that scenario there's only 3 options. Die, swear fealty, or escape with your life. I'm of the opinion that Kamille and friends should do everything they can go escape. There's still the possibility that the Titan forces of Earth can be organized into a effective fighting force against Axis.
>>
>>23819171
I'd love to but Jerid never would. Scirocco blowing up Von Braun means Jerid will never even consider allying with him due to all the people he lost there and as much as I like Scirocco I'm not betraying Jerid especially this run's Jerid to shack up with him. Maybe in another life if he comes back as Mashiro or something after sacrificing himself but not before that.
>>
>>23819340
I believe the question is whether we pursue a future for the Newtypes; even if that means condoning the destruction of billions of lives that we supposedly protect and the creation of a new plutocratic elite with psychic powers, or whether, on the contrary, we categorically reject the very existence of the concept, as well as the differences between Spacenoids and Earthnoids, which could result in a movement to return all colonists to Earth, leading to total environmental collapse within decades under the false promise of terraforming and settling other planets, as proposed by Tosh Cray.

I like the idea of forcing the colonists to give up their dream of independence, just as Jerid himself does. Exacerbated by the fact that we have allowed the biosphere to continue dying by nuclear-bombing the Amazon, flattening Mount Kilimanjaro with beam cannons, displacing millions of people through the destruction of entire territories all thanks to Bask—and that now they are crowding the outskirts of cities that have not yet been razed; those people will need homes, and as a result, the federal government will have no choice but to focus its attention on the colonies and finally move its headquarters into space.
>>
>>23819289
Scirocco has been willing to help us, as long as we do exactly what HE wants.
That kind of deal was never going to last once Kamille got some respect and authority within the Titans.
When we make our own judgements, step out of his line, to destroy the Psycho-ghosts? He comes after us like a teacher to administer punishment. Even when we give him irrefutable proof that we made the right call, he can't accept it, because he can't accept us making independent decisions in the first place.
We use our own strategic planning to pick the best time to seize Granada with minimal chance of failure? He glasses Von Braun to try and slow us down. Sure, maybe he has info that tells him this is for our sake as well, but what's the point if he doesn't share that info? We can't lie under his wing forever.
>>
>>23819580
>>23819309

Basically where I am as well in it. I'm ride or die Jerid already but this time Scirocco also tried to actively kill us via colony laser and was already going to defect to Axis as part of it. Even taking the hoops we jumped through for Jerid's turnaround into account, Scirocco burned his bridge entirely with the Gryps stunt. If he wants to intercede as a way of making amends I won't say no but I'm very against orbiting him again. Heck I'd take Henken over him

>>23819254

Copy, can we get an update on current influence levels? I thought for sure we'd get some during the Fa and rest period choices but it never happened.
>>
>>23819171
she mentioned forgiving him BEFORE he shot a colony laser at us,, you're asking a lot for our forces to be willing to accept him when he just destroyed the men who are with us literal homes
>>
Stick to the plan, end Zeonism and that does not include killing innocent spacenoids.
>>23819672
Agreed with this anon here, but we have to execute Henken and Astonaige if Jerid wanted it.
Scirocco already dead set against Kamile and his companions, plus Four disliked him.
The thing is Scirocco, Bask and New Desides are always doing whatever they want, it's best to not work under them.
I hope Kamile will gains aces like Chap, Alpha and Yazan's wingmen now that they claimed Granada before the Axis invasion.
I also hope we get to prevent the destruction of the Gates of Zedan.
Once the Bardam is mass produced, we'll put an end to the Zeonism in no time!
>>
>>23819779
Seriously though, we cannot be doing with these Nemos any longer. To say nothing of Hizacks and Marasais. Surely by now the Bardam is ready for us to pump them out every turn at Granada, it feels like a long time ago we made that decision.
I'm assuming, of course, that this "Vizier" isn't going to blow up Granada or kidnap us or something. We got cucked out of setting up a permanent base of operations at California already, if it happens again I am gonna be upset. Hopefully she's just here to aura farm, be ominous, then go home.
>>
>>23819779
>Gates of Zedan
I hope it remains shattered and factories are closed there. I don't believe we can hold it for very long. Better that it remains shut down if we can't use it.
>>
>>23819447
>I believe the question is whether we pursue a future for the Newtypes;
Kamille seems to be getting tired of everyone's bullshit even jerids. I don't think Kamille sees a difference between New and Old since they both are capable of making selfish egotistical decisions that hurt everyone around them. A lot of the newtypes are crashing out which may murk his opinion of them even further.(Amuro, Char, Scirocco, Axis, ect.)

Haman is going to colony drop Granada by sitting on it, it's over
