So after decades of people saying "daughtress" or "dauntless" it turns out that the name is Dotrace taken from the Japanese anime industry term "dou-trace" meaning taken from the same traced lineart

"Dauntless" doesn't fit, even though it's a far cooler title. It's still Daughtress.

this is like being autistic enough to complain that we immediately need to stop saying zaku and start saying zako instead because that's the word that the name zaku was based on

or that we need to stop saying aznable and say azanour instead
