An editor went wild and starting editing books to the point she was cutting and rewriting entire sections that had questionable content.

She was moved to the danmei team before finally quitting, the danmei fanbase is rabid and made her life hell. Arguably they gave her an even worse punishment than just firing her.

While I stopped reading The Mech Touch when Ves became too much of an asshat and I quit 40.000 Years of Cultivation because the author went too deep in on being Chinaman Heinlein, I still do enjoy Trenches, Guns and Magic and Smashing all the Pots and Pans.
