Better yet, make a pool of mares based on their coat colours. Dash, Rarity can only show up on blue, Redheart Roseluck can only be red. Rarity and Redheart are both white, but mane would be clear still.
Meanwhile, Twilight is Purple, which we associate closer to blue, Fluttershy Yellow, goes to red, etc.

Could also add a rare event, where it's Celestia vs Luna, red/blue in that order, but also there's lots of ponies who just didn't show up and kept repeating, so would be nice to have more poners.
