Why is it that ponies can live with magic all around them and some like Trixie have a hard time with magic even though they are born to use it while in Equestria Girls series any time a human comes into contact with magic or magic related objects, they become overpowered and are able to performs feats it would take ponies years to master?

Notice how magic items also tend to make humans in the EQGverse evil as fuck. Their lack of magic makes them extremely vulnerable to being magically dominated, like a more extreme version of what the alicorn amulet did to Trixie.

All the villains in EQG were already evil before any Equestrian interference.
Sunset, The Dazzlings, Wallflower and PostCrush all used equestrian artifacts to further their goals without being corrupted by them. They were all misguided and used them for a long time, none of them picked up and immediately knew how to use them.
Equestrian magic, unlike Equestrian artifacts, is actively evil and has a tendency to take the negative traits of whoever is affected by it and amplify them, basically making them drunk with power. Sci-twi knew she shouldn't mess with it, but her curiosity overcame her sense of right or wrong. Gloriosa became more unstable and nonsensical the more she used the geodes. Juniper's mirror made her hallucinate and go from stealing to kidnapping. Vignette was a spoiled bitch, but never to the point of actively kidnapping people and replacing them all with holograms.
