One of the worst albums of all time together with the rest of Radiohead's absolutely horrific discography, minus Pablo Honey which is a decent album.
If I would ever suffer from real insomnia, this is the album I would listen to. But then I might just die of boredom instead of falling asleep. Not a single memorable thing on the entire thing. In through one ear and out through the other. If I could erase an album from history I would choose this fucking piece of dogshit. I wouldn't even wipe my ass after taking the worst diarrhea ever with this trash with the fear of getting ass cancer from it.

Radiohead fundamentally misunderstand rock music and arrogantly position themselves above it. They think their superficial appropriation of IDM and vague, meaningless political signalling justify this. Catherine Wheel's Adam and Eve should have the reputation OKC has, as it has actually rocks and has soul put into it.

Who said radiohead must play rock music?
Who said rock music isn't whatever radiohead are doing?
Who said radiohead "position themselves over" rock music and aren't simply proposing their own spin on it?

Personally this is their peak album-wise for me. They have good singular songs after this, but as a full album nothing beats it.
I really hate the turn they made into pretentious music with stuff like In Rainbows, where everyone praises it because it just "is".
This is also one of the only albums I know of that has tracks simply to feed the concept of the album rather than being listened to as a one-off, such as "Fitter Happier". Really fucking amazing and I wish they did shit like this again.
