i doubt they could and if they did they'd need high quality headphones, I legit listen to all my shit at low rates because I never noticed a difference and I can fit much more music on my 160 gb ipod

Hi-res audio often uses a different master so it might sound better but not because it's hi-res. Downsample and dither to 44.1/16 and you won't be able to ABX the difference.

Well Aja is one of my favourite albums, so maybe I'll try one day. Can't at the moment because I use an iPod plugged into my amplifier.
