You cannot deny that this is a monumentally landmark event but 30 seconds into the music it is immediately apparent she isn't a patch on The Professor. None of that Buddy Rich-type feel, swing, nor shuffle. Very technichally proficient but lacking that sublime depth and dimension. Yes, she is incorporating her style and flair into the songs, and sometimes it's pretty damn good, but she's better suited stylistically playing for Dream Theater or Maiden or something.
Rush lost their poet, their philosopher, their Professor. Neil is irreplaceable. This is gynocentric frivolity. It is what it is.
The only thing more alarming is Geddy's voice. Oy vey, hopefully just first show clearing of the cobwebs.
Alex is fantastic as always.

Can't really complain. Anika plays the parts well, but nobody can replace Neil. The only thing that I'm worried about is Geddy's vocals. That gave me the big oof.

It’s a replay of the Oasis reunion. The announcement stunned everybody and created a ton of buzz, and then when it finally started it turned out to be just fine, and the anticipation evaporated and the tour proceeded routinely from there.

I think his voice was better here than on the last two tours with Neil. The 10 year break really did his pipes good. They only really had like one year off from touring in the time between Snakes & Arrows and R40 and they were all decrepit messes by the end.

Feel like a got some decent finds recently ToaPP and El Dorado. Not pictured is also an original ABWH CD from 1989
I’ve been trying to find THRAK and ELO’s Time for some time now but seemingly they just don’t exist here, so I might have to order them from discogs

Probably Beat or B-side of Starless if we’re going by studio albums
Some live or collection albums might have some really dumb shit but overall Beat might be the most noodly or wanky with the tied to beat poetry and such

The only song I liked on that damn album was Larks pt.IV, much better compared to pt.III. Everything else felt infinished or too messy to remember, it all just melded together into a blur. Belew’s rougher singing style really rubs me the wrong way with Prozakc blues and on TPTB’s few songs
I could also definitely feel Bruford and Levin absence
