Is there some sort of "archive" which shows every song Ariel Pink has parodied for one of his songs? Because I have very bad memory when it comes to that, but I can clearly hear how specific songs of his do an almost identitcal copy of others 70s or 80s artists songs. Don't get me wrong, I like his music, but it's clear his whole thing is doing some sort of hipster parody of other artists, and it would be fun to have an archive that breaks it all down to hear the comparison.

its not parodies, not really. he does copy a lot tho. there is SOME misinfo about what hes actually copying tho. first track on before today is an eddie murphie snl skit, fright night aludes to thriller, lestat has a beatles nod (possibly devo?), butthouse blondies is a cross between nirvana and doors, menopause man is billie jean, revolutions a lie is primary by the cure. list goes on and on
