it really is. he's probably the only person alive on the planet that can reasonably emulate his father (for obvious reasons). if he was smart he'd swallow his pride about wanting to go his own way and do his own thing, disband his dogshit buttrock band, and go on a worldwide 3 year multiple leg tour with alex/michael/dave/sammy celebrating his father's awing legacy. then when he got back he'd lock himself away in his father's studio and sort through all the unreleased material and see what can be patched up for a posthumous release.

i can't say i know what it's like to be wolfgang, your father being one of the greatest guitarists ever and basically only knowing music your whole life. i can see him wanting to try and do his own thing but at the end of the day you only have so much time on earth. do you really want to spend what's left of your youth playing your dogshit that no one would be paying attention to if you weren't a van halen? i'd want to do everything to continue my father's legacy. some would call it leeching, i'd call it celebrating.
