whats the best way to clean that weird foggy film on the inside glass of your car? windex just smears that shit around and it looks clean until you get into the bad angle with the sun and then the whole windshield is impossible to see through

No chemicals, just a clean inside. Wipe it with water, wipe it dry.
If the film only happens when raining then run the heater / AC or crack the windows.
>>
It smears because you still haven't removed all of the film. Keep cleaning. Make a pass, throw that rag to the side. Another pass, throw it to the side. Use like 5 different bunches of clean paper towels with each pass until that motherfucker squeaks.

t. faggot that gets infuriated with a new work vehicle that has been kept by multiple slobs.

any product that specifically advertises itself as the streak-free glass cleaning shit. Spray and paper towels does a great job, the wipes are good enough if you're already in your car driving around and want a little cleanup.

Make your own window cleaner:

2 cups of rubbing alcohol
2 cups of distilled water
2 tablespoons of white vinegar
(optional) 3 or 4 drops of dawn dish soap

It's FAR superior to Windex.

Also mixing vinegar and rubbing alcohol is fine if you're concerned about it. It won't make any deadly gasses or anything.
>>
Windex vinegar is pretty good. I like it better than invisible glass.
>>
>>28909604
Windex fucks your tint, I've had good luck with bilt hamber glass cleaner but I'm not so in love with it that I'd pay shipping again
>>
clean with soap and water first, then hit it with a glass cleaner
>>
>>28909628
This, invisible glass with a GOOD microfiber cloth not a cheapo one will do the trick. Windex sucks. Dont use paper towels
>>
>>28909604
>this is what they took from you
the 90's were just so god damn comfy.
>>
make a spray with acetone and brake cleanz and wipe with uncooked chicken skin
>>
0000 steel wool + sprayway glass cleaner

if that doesnt remove any contaminants i dont know what will
>>
More importantly, get rid of cheap air fresheners like those jellybean ones. They cause this really bad.
>>
>>28909604
I like sprayaway foaming cleaner that comes in aerosol cans, but the thing you’re talking about, it’s just a matter of technique, you have to clean the window 3 times in a row with a fresh paper towel each time

A lot of those sprays are causing the film. Just use dry rags and get everything off the surface.

Judging by the bikini patterns and hair it's mid-late-'00s "scene" style.
But yes, I miss when people just lived instead of worrying about being filmed all the time. To the point that everything is now some performative act for social media. I miss just going out into the world and doing shit, no cell phones just living life. Chicks used to walk around in spaghetti-strap tank tops and booty shorts! I miss it too.

That might be the best solution. Huh.

picrel is the best glass cleaner on the planet
>>
>>28909873
for the love of god never use this on anything you care about, it's basically 4000 grit sandpaper. it will remove the finish.
>>
>>28909873
you need something will help break up the oil film that collects on the inside of the windshield. Glass cleaner alone won't do that.
>>
>>28909882
I use it to clean the dead mosquitos off the wall in my bathroom. Works great.
>>
>>28909870
the cheerleader bikini car washes were a rite of passage in small towns during that period though; usually to raise money for going to some competition.
fuck, nowadays they'd just setup an OF account :(
>>
>>28909628
Exactly what I was going to recommend. The aerosol can version is the best IMO.

Glass polish.
I bought an ex smoker car which had it bad and the only way I got rid of it was going totally ham with glass polish.
>>
is newspaper still good to clean?
>>
I've used Shellite.

Depends on the ink and solvent you use.
>>
>>28910561
so basically brake cleaner
>>28910566
i thought something might've changed but seems like the only thing was that kerosene was used in the ink apparently. but that's long since been stopped, but they're still useful in that newspaper fibers don't smudge dirt and are practically lint free. seems like wiping straight vinegar with newspaper will really clean it well without leaving streaks

wow. just tried this
>about 3/4-1 cup of water (forgot to use warm)
>teaspoon of dishwashing liquid
>squirt of 90% ethanol i found lying around
cleaned with microfibre towel, then finished off with a cotton hand towel since I didn't have any spare microfibre towels on hand. Little bit of lint left, nothing a bit more wiping couldn't fix, but more importantly it left a streak free finish and it was really easy to do since as per the video, the dish soap makes the cloth glide really easily over the glass.
thanks anon may your oil be glitter free and check engine light stay forever off
>>
>inside glass
Do not use any chemicals as it will fuck your tint. Unless you know you are using something that is safe for tint (I still don't use chemicals on interior glass). Don't use paper towels. Use a microfiber cloth. For me it's filtered water with two microfibers (one wet then one to dry immediately). Also wipe straight in one direction that's different to outside so you can tell if any grime/smears etc are inside or outside.

I miss the bikini girls car wash.

Lads I miss young perky tits
The 30+ women have larger cup sizes but their O_O are all sad looking.
>>
>>28909604
isopropyl and clean rags. Once you use a rag, iso the glass again and use a new rag. repeat till there is no film, residue, or oils left. you can also try MEK but that shit melts plastics so don't be a tard
>>
>>28909604
Plain old luke warm water and lots of clean cloths is the best way. Every product marketed as specific for cleaning autoglass inevitably leaves a film.
>>
>>28909604
Just use a dry microfibre cloth.
>>
>>28909719
You have to get ammonia free or it turns tint purple. Anyone born since the 80s knows that gramps
>>
>>28909868
Second the glass spray foam cleaner
Looked the msds for it just alcohol but it works far better than liquid
>>
>>28909870

Windex and pretty much all glass cleaners are a scam, they have oils which eventually smudge up the glass again. Literally use water. There is no such thing as "glass cleaner" when water works and is the cheapest thing to use.

You apply a wet cloth and scrub off whatever needs to be scrubbed, then dry it with a dry cloth to get the beads away. That's it, cleanest glass you'll ever look through. Same with mirrors.
>>
>>28914998
you still want something to break down any grease, dirt and grime on the glass though. dishwashing liquid is perfect for that and it doesn't leave streaks behind unless there's actually dirt that you didn't pick up in which case you just go over it again
>>
>>28909604
You just have to clean it more. A moist towel might work better than tons of paper towels.
>>
>bikini car wash
>shorts

Ill take my filthy shitbox elsewhere

>flat and nice all the girls' midriffs were.
