Comfy interior, quiet cabin with decent stock audio. The R-Design holds better resale value.
The early 2015 Volvo 2.0 diesel engines had incorrect pistons rings fitted causing the engine to burn tiny bit more oil.
The D4's are rapid quick best matched with a manual.
>2014-2017 passat
Get the CC, preferably the R-Line for better resale value. The DSG autos are nice. Best build quality out of the 3 and cheapest maintenance if anything breaks.
>2014-2017 mazda 6
Nice handling but not as solidly built as the other two. Awesome manual gearbox. The 2.2 diesels are fragile and require care.
>Which is best for relaxed driving and reliability
For relaxed: Volvo V60 followed by Mazda 6 with slightly louder cabin.
For reliability: Passat CC, every garage knows how to fix them. Parts are readily available and relatively cheap compared to Volvo and Mazda.

Thanks for the elaborate reply.
I cant go diesel cause the taxes are like 120 euros a month or something
I like the interior of rhe passat alot, but i keep gearing about oil use and engine problems
The v60 and mazda are on average more expensive than passats at my location

Looks nice, but diesel is too expensive here because of taxes. Soni have to pick a petrol engine.
So im looking for a reliable engine but also somewhat nice interior, and the germans just win in interiors

Just nonsense.
You'll save at least that amount via the greater fuel economy.
In the end, a wash, so go with the more fun to drive and durable powertrain.

Ok, I hear ya but at least do the Math.
You may be surprised depending on how much you drive per month.
The fuel savings by virtue of the more economical nature of the diesel may completely offset the monthly surcharge..i dunno, but you can figure it out
