>the Camaro isn't a muscle car
retard alert!
>and the GR86 doesn't even come with a V8
because it's not a muscle car. it's infinitely less shameful to drive a car that is SUPPOSED to have a 4cyl or a v6 than a povertyspec rentalspec LARPmobile
you now have my permission to seethe

sorry you have such a bad memory
So, why didn't you get the V8?

The 4 cylinder camaro handles better than the GR86, and doesn't pretend otherwise. where is the pretension? since you're defending a car that doesn't even come with a V8, does that mean you're also poor and brown?

the GR86 is pretending to handle good, when it handles worse than a 4 cylinder camaro. it tricks normie non-car guys who watched initial D.
Why are you defending a car that doesn't come with a V8?

You guys couldn't even afford a V6, could you? I'll be here enjoying my Camaro AND my GR86.

It's easier and cheaper to make a pony car handle better than make a GR86 fast. Ecoboost mustang is faster and GM alpha platforms handle great while being a much larger car. Swap either of those to a V8 and you have a much more fun car with suspension mods. Slow car fast is fun until you actually want to go fast. GR86 isn't even quick.

ecoboost mustangs blow up and camaro feels like driving a pillbox
gr86 is a middleweight car meant to compete with s2000s, mx5s, wrxs and other sport compacts
the people who dont understand it legitimately do not go to racetracks or any motorsports events other than 4chan benchracing like the camarocel

What? The oil starvation issues pop up when you drive GR86s hard. They pop too. Ecoboosts do be boomy but 2020+ have seen far less failures. Camaro isn't the only alpha platform, but i know what you mean. It's the sole reason I don't own one. Still doesn't change the fact that it's one of the best handling platforms on market for the price.
I understand the segment the GR86 is meant to be in. It just doesn't do it well stock. S2000s, especially AP2s are a raw driving experience that is fun af. Miatas are smaller, lighter and can be tuned to a GR86 stock output NA. Its a better drivers car. While bigger cars aren't as nimble, with good suspension and a good driver, they are faster.
I go to motorsports events and I've raced off and on. Nothing serious but HPDE and TTs with SCCA and NASA. I've also drove quite a few stock, to modified to extremely modified 86s.
Fuck, get a C6 vette with suspension mods and have a near 50/50 weight distribution, smaller footprint and weight than a pony car and have a more reliable car with a larger aftermarket than an 86. All while making 500whp NA.
