Its partially the gearing, but also fair to say the jesko is traction limited below a certain speed so changing the gearing isnt going to improve its launch. It accelerates disgustingly fast over 180mph which is where the corvette is starting to run out of steam.
When you buy a car like a jesko, you are paying for the theater and prestige, dual clamshells, retarded door hinges, a striking design top quality materials and so on. The c8 corvette is ugly and basically always has been cheap delivering cheap, accessible horsepower. All the money was spent on the chassis and engine development, and you feel that if you sit in a similarly priced car that isnt so focused on performance metrics. Its a mass production car at the end of the day and benefits from economies of scale, whereas a jesko is built entirely in house in limited numbers. Its a cool comparison if numbers are all you care about.
The corvette is an impressive machine for the money, but Im still waiting to see the jesko get mogged by a 600hp awd shitbox like OP promised me.

People buying those cars are collectors, not benchracers. It is more rolling artwork than performance. It could have 1hp and would still be 3 million
