I am in quite the pickle. I need a new car immediately. My Kia Soul’s engine is pushing daisies. I want something nice. I’ve finalized everything down to a GR86 or a Tesla model 3. I have always driven manual cars and yet I have anyways wanted a Tesla. I have been closely following Tesla as a company since 2019. I am sad to give up my manual transmission and yet I find most car maintenance lame af.

One important consideration is I live in a shitty apartment complex so I do not have access to home charging. There are many Tesla chargers near by though.

I need a car immediately and idk what to do.

you just answered your own question, unless you're retarded enough to think that doesn't matter

I’ve consulted my three premium AIs with deep thinking turned on and they all said it was a stupid question

let's start with some simple question. Does your engine require valve adjustment or not? What are your symptoms of the car "pushing daisies"?
If you are unable to care for a simple economy car you are not in a position to own an expensive sports car.

I had to pull over and get towed after my engine burst out into a literal cloud of smoke. The mechanic said it’s beyond saving

I have a model 3 living in an apartment and it's fine if you get the long range version. If you get the standard it's not fine because of the different battery type that requires 100% charge once a week or so to keep it calibrated and that will get annoying without home charger. long range battery do not have this problem and you can live comfortably from nearby tesla chargers not to mention the longer range

a motor from a junkyard probably costs around $1000. rent a hoist and spend a weekend swapping it. it's something anyone with 0 experience can do. or just spend $20k+ for a model 3, it's an objectively better daily than a 86. just charge it at a wawa once a week while you eat few sizzlis.

86 if you want a car that's fun an engaging. tesla if you want a commuting appliance

Seems if you live in an apartment and hate auto maintenance, a tesla seems like a shoe in.
