kinda
it was a car I had to settle with but it does everything I need it to however there are other cars out there that can do it better I just couldn't afford them at the time
lately it's been costing me more and more money to keep it running so it's time to get out of it
I just need it to hold on for a couple of months longer

1st car: 1998 CR-V, liked it got me through high school and first few years of college. Stolen and its frame was found in Mexico.
2nd car: 2000 Civic EX, ill maintained by previous owner was still functional got me through the last few years of college, liked it enough but couldn't fully trust it. Stolen, insurance paid out the value of the car.
3rd car: first car I actually bought with my own money after getting a job graduating college and it was a brand new 2011 manual basic Mazda 3 hatchback, learned to drive manual transmission on this. liked it a whole lot. Sold it due to losing job.
4th car: 2004 Mazdaspeed MX-5, really loved it. Learned to do more maintenance stuff not just oil changes, did my first timing belt job on it. Sold it due to losing job again.
5th car: 2014 CR-V EX, parents lent it to me while I was looking for full time employment. Not bad, modern convenience that I never had before and good MPG for its size. Returned to my parents.
6th and current car: 1998 4Runner, really love this SUV/truck. I do a lot of outdoors activities so having 4WD and way higher height clearance helps a lot.
Then there is my motorcycle, love it a whole lot and ride it during the weekend when weather permits and when I have time for a little scenic ride.

i love my car, consider her to be a living organism, and frequently indulge in the imaginary fantasy of making love to her.

I fucking love my car.
Even though the fuel pump shat the bed on me the other day, after $100 and 30 mins I replaced it and she's running like a scalded dog.
Meanwhile when most of my friends take their cars to the shop for something as small as an oil change, because they're such a pain in the ass to work on.
All the pictures I have, the file size is too big, but pic related. '61 Valiant

1st car: PT Cruiser 2002
I really liked the space in the back after taking the rear seats out but the powertrain was so anemic for how terrible the fuel economy was. Made quite a bit of money by putting a lawn mower, weed eater and some gardening tools in the back
2nd car: 2009 Pontiac G6 coupe.
It's not too bad, but it has a whole lot of gremlins now and I'm getting tired of it. Gonna get a GTO next.

My shifter cable broke today. This is just after fixing a slipping clutch and misfiring cylinder. So, no, not really.

Not at the moment. It's due an oil change, randomly stumbles at idle once warmed up every now and then, left window motor is going out, fuel doesn't read right half the time, airbag light flashes out of nowhere, can't just replace old and worn boot struts need to grind it out and interior rattles bothering me. I'm getting most of it sorted this month but yea I'm not happy.
