It's a ford ranger with a hatch. we technically already have that and it's called the Bronco which is also based on the ranger platform. if you like how that drives, get a bronco and remove the offroad wheels.
it would need to be slightly wider and longer to really sell in the us and they are unwilling to develop the manufacturing capacity and redo the design + its a 2011 platform they need to just scrap the whole thing and make a new one with a more fuel efficient v6 setup
remember, this is ford, the company that just let hundreds of people die in high speed rollovers rather than having to make the ranger 2 inches wider in the 90s...
>>28974625 It fun to drive in a place like SEA where it a dirt road and a car signals status. I got plenty of looks from college age girls and it was piss easy getting their contact info.
>>28975237 >blame government instead of shitty cynical companies who hate their customers and just want to squeeze profit sigh there are SO many npc's like this
>>28974214 Not OP but the Bronco is compromised to hell for the retro and off road larps. It has shit aerodynamics, which means tons of wind noise and awful fuel economy, and I don't want a plastic roof that comes off and comes with all kinds of compromises to accommodate it. I own a 2020 Ranger and would be very interested in an Everest for my next daily if they sold it here, since it basically keeps the payload and tow capacity of the Ranger which would help a lot with giving up the truck bed. (Especially due to tongue weight, the Bronco's capacity is too low for a motorcycle on a hitch carrier, while the Ranger and probably the Everest can handle it fine.)
