once you get over 110-120 on a bike, you get serious tunnel vision and all-around lower visual acuity. not to mention your margins for error in handling drop fast. anybody that wants to drive that fast on a bike after doing it once is passively suicidal. that being said, cops will not chase you if you hold that speed for more than a minute, so it has its utility.

This thread again...
1. Keep your reckless bullshit on a Track, and away from my family
2. Become a GP racer
>Hey honey, I hit 175 on the backroads today!
Asshole.

A motorcycle is so small that they don't really harm others the same way a car crash does. The only person harmed from a crash is generally the rider exclusively.
roads are more fun, just don't speed around dense urban areas and residential neighborhoods

Very scary, above ~140 you become very aware of how dangerous it is. I’ve only done around 150 on a backroad that I knew was good with no pullouts. I’d have to be on a track try and hit close to 200 on my bike.

well i hit 60kmh on a road bike with one of those amazon two stroke kits on it and it felt like my bike was about to rattle apart and if I didn't spot the next pothole properly I would be instantly deleted from existence so probably like that but worse
i unironically automatically let off the throttle at 50 now, i dont care if i lose my nuts from compression blowing it apart on a downhill, at least i wont go head over bars before losing consciousness

the chase continues, they just get air support instead of ground units

That bike has as much kinetic energy as a Corolla driving at 160km/hr. Or 300g of TNT, depending on how you would prefer to think about it.

>Or 300g of TNT
this is and always has been a bad metric because not only is an explosion omnidirectional and a collision is obviously not, but LE SAME ENERGY AS LE TNT is usually calculated as just energy release and both collisions and explosives are lossy but in different ways that make them incomparable

>passively suicidal
idk how people can choose to kill themselves by driving. every vehicle is constantly broken a little bit, making nothing but weird noises, and it's all very plaintive. riding a vehicle fast is like trying to console a crying child, your own other worries melt away because you're more afraid your chain will explode or your exhaust will fall off or some dumb shit and you cannot even concentrate on killing yourself properly at that point
even if you're genuinely suicidal, it just seems impractical
>resolve to kill self
>get out onto the road
>stall because of something stupid not working
>spend more time fighting with your vehicle than you intended to use killing yourself
at that point just park normally and get into a "road rage" gunfight with other drivers/responding police and suicide by cop, your last words to anything you love being "START, YOU PIECE OF SHIT"
