Basically everywhere it's immediately obvious to the eye in person but nowhere the car will rust out. Typical dealer bullshit.
Anyway OP I've done this before and it's whatever solvent you can find that works best against it and lots of elbow grease. Also, having done it, I'd say just leave it alone because it's hours and hours of labor removing the stuff just to look like you didn't do anything at all.
