Grab a few, take a photo of the gills (if there are any), cut them open and also take a photo of the slices. Don't assume you can ID them safely by the top of the cap. You can also use smell to ID them, but with caution - smelling good does not mean edible, what I mean is grabbing notes such as if it's closer to an oyster mushroom smell or a blue cheese smell, for example.

Claude doesn't "know". That's the problem with all predictive AI models. They don't know if what they are saying is true or not, just what the most likely answer should be based on their training data. They have no way of filtering out bad data.
