There are tons of hobo camps here in ri because our last governor was more retarded than the average politician and she made squatting and being a public nuisance legal. Back in the day the cops would have beaten a guy like this and kept him moving. He is near a town you can see the lights he’s probably camping behind the target on route 2 in Warwick and then panhandling during the day.

OP here; this was near the Spooky Bottom Cove end of Kettle Point in East Providence. Yes, it was near a town; Kettle Point faces East Bay & South Prov. The photos of this camp, its been bulldozed. I don't panhandle, I don't think I'm above that but I grew up in EP & usually, am working. Homelessness being politicized on left or right is a disgusting way to look at an actual Human issue hitting RI, MA & the USA, hard. I got back from working & moving across the states but with no car or license, found out I was originally from a different birth family from my physician, und started camping so I wouldn't couchsurf or be roomating with family und relatives. I grew up in EP amd my senpai is from Pawtucket, my birth parents are from Central Falls. As a 1995 born 30 year old; hobo camps have been Riverside in RI for decades in every town I just said plus Attleboro, lets not play Capd Verdean French English Portogeus3 Italian Spanish Jewish Asyrian Armenian Ghanese dodgeball, now. Most hobos here are just insane people or criminals from south america and mexico. White hobos just stand around all day panhandling for drug money now that the cops can’t get make them move along and shit up every intersection in the state. You can’t even go downtown in Providence anymore without being accosted by them. Whether you care about hobos or not letting them loiter and do drugs in public during the middle of the day doesn’t help anyone.
