Mine is totally underrated. But the water is bad. There are many super accessible /out/ options, yet there are hardly any people. The state is insulted and overlooked, but that's the way I like it.

I live in Texas. Its absolute hell for /out/ because there's so little public land. Also it gets hot as Satan's asshole during the summer.

Central Michigan sucks because you have to drive like an hour to go anywhere that isn't a tiny state game area or a paved trail with a billion normies on it. But you can't beat the UP, it's just so desolate and lacking in people, I love it.
