Anyone getting this? The analog fags crying about its price have not seen top end FF mirrorless digital prices I guess.
My main issue with it is that panorama is useless for online sharing, a portrait oriented camera like the Fuji 645 point and shoots make more sense for premium film cameras.

>OMG is that Jeff Bridges' camera?
I hate the publicity it gets. Soon we will see all these hipsters shooting boring unoriginal wannabee panos to grab some pathetic second hand fame. Enough to feed AI hunger, then to be replicated ad nauseam.

For such an expensive product the site is nothing but a load of hot air.
But it's fine with me, let these rich folks have their cake. I hope for them the camera is actually good.

What a load of bullshit. What a garbage camera. Mind you, I wouldn't judge anyone for owning one and I think it's fun to explore niche ways to take photos. But the fact this is being sold for 5k and the marketing on the website illustrates perfectly why photography is not taken seriously as an art.
> Yeah absolutely the camera sucks but you know, soul, right?
> My client was hating every second of the photoshoot until I took out my stupid camera and then we started circlejerking about gear, so yeah, like, what's more to say, buy the dogshit camera so you can become a clown on top of a hack.

>use normal camera
>take one picture aligning right edge of frame on center of composition, take another picture with left edge on center
>stitch them together in post with a click
>normal 3:2 cameras give you widelux 3:1 in two shots
Saved you guys some money

Use 3 shots in manual or AEL to give software room to fix perspective distortion unless you know how to find the lens nodal point have have the right tripod plate
Also step back a bit for crop room. The edges distort when stitched.

There are approximately five threads by anons posting their own pictures between page 1 and page 10 with basically fuck all in the way of interaction from other anons. Yet you came hear to put OP on blast instead of engaging with any of those, or offering C&C, or any other way of sending them to page 1.
Well done, faggot.

Imagine shooting film and caring about online sharing, where you have 600kb JPEGs at 1024 width.
Excuse me you fucking nigger but you know ultrawide monitors exist and wide film could get you wide landscapes you can use to create your own desktop backgrounds?
Every time one of you people try to discredit something because "muh online sharing incompatible" you just out yourselves as retard cattle. You are not the target audience of this so of course your main issue for it would be THE WHOLE THING IT IS DESIGNED FOR.
Take a step back, go to your nearest mirror, and call the retard you find in the mirror a moron for us please.

>are you really living life if you don’t have a like and a follow from shitdeep priktel?
Can’t imagine living your life ngl

The only reason these exists is for rich jerkoffs who don't care about photography to make instagram reels of them loading film or making the lens rotate and going "waoaww you won't believe what this weird camera does1!1". It's the same reason everyone sucks off the Rollei 35 which is also not a great camera.
It's just obscure enough to be "ifykyk" but not enough to make it useless as a fashion accessory.
If you want a swing lens pano camera there are plenty of inexpensive Soviet ones. But then you couldn't go "DID YOU KNOW *INSERT CELEBRITY* HAS ONE OF THESE?!?!"

All 4chan boards only engage with ragebait. Not saying I'm above it but it'd be silly to think this website is any more immune to the current social media zeitgeist than any other.

I engage plenty with other threads. You'll find me in the film general and the still life thread up right now among others.
I also like to bitch and complain and give unsolicited opinions on garbage products. You replying to me is doing the same thing you're complaining about, the only difference is you're not self-aware enough to admit it.

>You replying to me is doing the same thing you're complaining about
I wouldn't have anyone to call out if people stopped doing it to begin with
>the only difference is you're not self-aware enough to admit it.
The real difference is I don't go around the board being dishonest

You're fucking brain dead.
I said the problem is social media, not digital.
If you just want wide for social media you can just use a smartphone ultrawide lens and crop it vertically.
Widelux is for people who want something different, and analog.
Nobody cares if you don't want it. It's happening and people will buy it. It exists for a reason.
