It is hands down my favourite kind of photography even though it has many limitations.
Actually i think that being that limited kinda forces me to try and be creative even though many shots gets blown out.
Or maybe i simply enjoy shooting and having the pic with me istantly.... the best way to collect memories with friends.

Do you scan your physicals always? Or just when you want to /p/ost them? Seems like it would be nice to amass a digital library in addition to the instant photos.

These first two are nice. The up close shot always beats the far away. Are you doing any editing or is that a natural orangeish vibe?

I wish there were manual ILC instax cameras, something like the polaroid goose but for films that are still in production. Nons makes some but they have these stupid speed boosters in the body because they chose to use 35mm format lens mounts on all of them and the IQ is really no better than the plastic lens instax cameras. They really should have just used 645 or 6x7 lenses...

Yeah ive seen theres a lot for the hassie's but I dont have a hassie. I have an rb67 and the only ones that exist are these dogshit 3d print / homejob things that sellers want like 600$ for. I could by an ELX hassie for that money.

i wanted to use the epson es-60w scanner cause people got amazing results and said it was cheap but where i live it's still way over 150€ so i end up using that infamous Instax Up! application to scan.
No i dont do any sort of editing on them, they are just as they came out of the camera.
I know it's not fully manual but i currently use the Lomo Istant Square Glass and it can be pretty fun to experiment and try things like the double exposure or the splitzer/colored flash gelatines
This is a pic i got using bulb mode for example (again sorry for the horrendous quality of the "scan")

honestly i'd suggest either instax square or wide. Square is the best format for me and the lomo istant square glass really get you the freedom you might want. The wide is nice but there are basically 2 cameras and that's it. Mini is way too small and you can shoot it with the lomo istant square glass anyway cause it gets sold with the double back piece.
Polaroid is easily the best format, square and big but the film is very expensive and rather unstable at different temperatures. Also the only manual camera there is is over 400€.
it's really a different way to take photos but i usually have quite a lot of fun even if sometimes you end up wasting film...
